I didn't end up getting a dress here but had such a good experience I had to post. This is a beautiful shop - exactly what you would hope for when trying on dresses. Taylor was my consultant and she was great - helpful, to the point, and let me take some time to think about the dresses I had tried on rather than trying to get me to purchase one before leaving. I was also impressed with the selection (mostly "in the back") of the dresses they had in my budget which was $500 or less. Sam helped me today and, oh my gosh, was it meant to be! She was adorable, fun, and we were kindred spirits. She knew exactly what I wanted. Sam pulled the most perfect accessories and made the experience so much more than I ever could have hoped for. I found my dress, under budget, with zero pressure. It's the most perfect dress I've ever laid eyes on and I felt absolutely amazing in it. If you have a positive attitude and want to have an awesome experience while looking for a dress, and let's be honest, play dress up, you need to ask for Sam. My wedding dress shopping experience was great. The resulting dress was a disaster. When I tried the dress it was a size 22 and it fit in the bust. It did not fit anywhere else. I measured at a size 14 and they ordered it. We asked multiple times if this would change the bust. They told us it would not. They clearly didn't know their product. When the dress came in the bust was tiny and extremely revealing. It cost 200 in alterations to rebuild the top. I would also like to mention that the dress was scheduled to arrive a full three weeks before it did. With the problems with the bust and the time I was only able to get one fitting in. The dress looks horrible in my pictures and now I feel as if I wasted 800 on a dress and 1200 on pictures I can't bear to look at. I have one month until my reception to find a new dress. Needless to say, I will not be getting it from Celestial Selections. read more

I'm giving it two stars when it only really deserves one. I went here shopping for my homecoming dress, the lady helping was really nice, and the dresses were really pretty. I found the dress I wanted the within the first few I tried on, it was absolutely perfect I felt so beautiful in it, it was perfect. I asked them to put it on hold so I could come back and pay for it. Turns out they put the wrong dress on hold and sold my dress, I was crying I told them I was never coming back to the store, and I never will. This was a $275 mistake. I needed the dress that night and they had another dress I tried on before and liked but didn't love, I decided to get that one. I forgot to mention I was nominated for homecoming royalty, so this homecoming was a big deal to me. With all that being said it's crazy that I would even give this place two stars, but the dress I did buy and bring home did look really good, and I looked good, the night wasn't ruined. This mistake lost them a lot of money, because I was going to come here for my dances to come. I told the other girls who got nominated and said they had the same problem last year. I posted a review awhile ago. And I didn't give them a very good score because of the owners at the time. BUT ever since they have changed owners I see such a huge difference. The girls who work there have ALWAYS been wonderful. They are welcoming and truly want to help you find your dream dress. I am VERY pleased with the new owner and how she has changed things around. The new owner rocks and i am SO glad that she took over the business. I just bought my wedding dress there from Britt and she is amazing!! I am very happy with my experience and I am glad that I found my dress while supporting the new owner. :) IF you had a bad experience before, which I bet you probably did with the old owners, I suggest you come and try out the store again. The new owners are a complete breath of fresh air for this store. They changed CS Bridal so incredibly that I recommend them to everyone. The staff is so incredibly kind and there is literally no turnover rate because the girls love their job. The dresses are carefully crafted and they treat their brides like royalty. Not to mention the mini strip mall that their store is lined up on is super cool. Everything you need in terms of attire is there. read more

I loved the set up of Celestial Selections. I went to several dress shops before them and had ok experiences, but I really liked Celestial Selections' system: They give you clothespins to put on the dresses that stand out to you...and you go from there! Ali and other consultants unzip the dresses for you and then step out of the room to give you privacy. They come back in to zip you up and help you out to the pedestal. I clipped lots of dresses that worked but I couldn't find any that were standouts. I ended up leaving the store frustrated that I couldn't find something that made me say "yes" immediately. I knew the dress was probably in the store but I just hadn't picked it out yet, so I returned with my top 3 in mind. The consultants ended up finding me something that was a mixture between all the things I liked about the dresses I tried on during my first appointment with them. Everybody at the wedding raved about how unique and beautiful my dress was. And I was so happy with it! Thank you Ali and others! read more

I have never been married before, and am not using any planning guides, so I showed up on Saturday to look at dresses. I had heard this was an amazing place to find a dress. I walked in and was met by an employee who asked if I had an appointment. I told her I was just beginning to look so she said she would have to ask her manager to see if she could fit me in. She asked what my budget was, I gave her a low number, and she advised that their dresses started at around 1800, and she showed me to the clearance area and left me with my friends. She came back about 15 minutes later and advised that I had 30 minutes to look. I am a quick change so ok. I put on the dresses and found one that I liked but wasn't in love with. Since this was the first place I had gone too, I didn't want to settle, so I asked if she could hold the dress until 5:00. This was where things took a turn for the worse... She said that I would have to put down a 100 deposit- non refundable. I am on a budget. She asked me what was stopping me from buying the dress. I advised this was the first place I looked and wasn't ready to make a commitment. Then she asked, "how would you feel if the dress wasn't here when I called back. I gave her a taste of her own medicine and advised that if it wasn't there, I guess it wasn't meant to be. I walked out and found a dress elsewhere that fit my budget and was way more beautiful than anything I could ever imagine at another shop. If you want an overpriced dress from a snooty shop, make sure you have an appointment and go here. But if you are on a budget and don't want to pay 1800 for a dress you are going to wear for a few hours one day of your life, go somewhere else. read more

Last spring I searched the internet for a shop to buy my daughter's first prom dress. Sadly this was not the place. The shop is cute and they have a pretty nice selection. The prices are not as expensive as other shops. They just didn't have anything we were looking for. We went back recently to look for a homecoming dress and they didn't have many short dresses. read more

I went wedding dress shopping here and Ali was great. She was really supportive, full of great information for someone who knows nothing about dresses and had great suggestions for me and my figure. I was happy with the selection and found plenty of dresses that I loved that it was hard to decide. There was no pressure and I look forward to going back to choose between my favorites. read more

This place was beyond wonderful for my sister's wedding dress. She got her dream dress from a discount rack which was awesome! We came back for bridesmaid's dresses and were disappointed. We couldn't browse selection but were just brought somw from the back and they were all more than $250. Yikes. read more

I came from out of town to go wedding dress shopping. I made three appointments that day and Celestial Selections was my third. I had not found my dress yet in the day but had definitely gotten a feel for what I was looking for after trying on dresses at two previous locations. The two previous locations were very helpful, worked with my budget, and were really on a mission to help me find the style of dress that was going to be my dream dress! However, when I got to Celestial Selections, I did not enjoy my experience as I thought I was going to. The shop was really cute, but the girls working there did not seem to care why I was there or what I was looking for! I wasn't having much luck when looking around the store on my own for dresses (which I would rather tell the gal what I like and have her help me find the dresses because it is very overwhelming and easy to get lost in a sea of white) and I had a girl come up to me, with attitude because I had not found any to try on and then could care less to help me find what I was explaining that I was interested in. It could have just been a bad day for that gal in the store but none of the other girls seemed to be doing much better. They would talk in hushed tones about the girls in the store that were trying on dresses and two workers were even talking about me and how I hadn't chose a single thing to try on as I walked up behind them. I would say to give them another chance, but you might end up walking out 5 minutes later as I did yesterday. After a *terrible* experience at David's Bridal (I'll write my review for them later.) My mom and I decided not to end on a low note, having come from out of town to go wedding dress shopping. We googled the nearest wedding dress shop, and found ourselves headed to "Celestial Selections." Brittany, who helped us, was fantastic. The layout of the store was great, and the process of picking out dresses was stress free, and fun. I'm a plus-size bride, and was worried about finding dresses to try on, and body issues, and blah blah blah. Their plus size selection is awesome! And, I found my dream dress. (It was the first one I picked out, the third one I tried on.) Since then, my mom has taken my (now) sister in law, as well as a family friend there, and they have also found their dresses. Clearly, I hope I don't ever need to pick out another wedding dress. But, if I did, I'd go back here for sure. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I simply called and requested an appointment to try on wedding dresses and the person that answered with "Celestial Selections" said "Nope" and hung up on me. I was shocked at how rude she was and will never consider giving them my business now. read more

Brittany was absolutely amazing. She helped my bridesmaid who was with me pick out her dress 2 years ago. We walked in and she has said she wouldn't be my consultant but she would gladly look at my pictures. Come to find out she traded appointments so she would help me. She made me feel so comfortable. My appointment at the shop before celestial was horrible and I was feeling pretty discouraged. We had to drive 3 hours just to try dresses on. She knew exactly what I was looking for and helped bring other options in. I found my dream dress and left very happy! I would recommend this shop for anyone, they are two for two in my group! read more
