I have been to this shop a couple of times now, both for my sister as she found (and altered) her dress, and now for my own dress shopping experience, and I have been blown away by the kindness and elevated service we've received every time, specifically with Shop Manager, Taylor. Taylor helped my sister find her dress, so we came back specifically to work with her for mine. My first trip to Honest in Ivory was early 2020 - pre-Covid. That was in their old location, so I was excited to see their new spot with my sister this weekend! We had an evening appointment so more guests could attend (up to 10, we had 5 + the bride). Cupcakes and mimosas were provided, plus we were able to bring in an extra bottle of champagne. Abby and Brynn were her stylists. They were so sweet and helped us all have a great time! We had the store to ourselves, which made it really convenient for looking at dresses. They do have contactless shopping, but we could wander and point, then they would pull them for the bride to try on. Masks were required and worn by the stylists the whole time. The dressing rooms were set up so nice! A huge open space with big curtains for a grand reveal of each dress. It was a lovely experience. I'd highly recommend any bride to be in the area schedule with them. read more

Honest in Ivory is by appointment only and is fantastic! Brooklyn was our wedding dress guru - she made our experience one of a kind. Due to COVID precautions only 2 visitors are allowed to accompany the bride to be. They gave us each 1 mimosa- very tasty but they can only give 1 per person. There were several dressing room stations. Each was a different color and they converted from a dressing room to a viewing area - this made it very easy for both bride and visitors. Each station was spacious and well lit. The entire studio was gorgeous - perfect for pictures. They also sell veils and dress accessories. It does cost $25 to book an appt and there is a $50 cancelation fee. Overall we were very impressed and definitely plan on returning. Thank you Brooke for an amazing experience! read more

This was my first place I went to shop for my wedding dress and it was an absolutely FABULOUS experience!! Brynn was my personal stylist and she is a true gem of a human. She made me feel comfortable and picked out some amazing styles that really fit me and my personality, even though she just met me! Besides being a lovely human, she also was extremely knowledgeable of the wedding dress world. Honestly, it was way better than ANY experience I've had at a David's Bridal or any other bridal boutique for past weddings I've been in as a bridesmaid. The people were kind, respectful, and truly dedicated to just making it the best experience for you. 5/5 would recommend! I came to Honest in Ivory looking for a dress that I had fallen in love with on the internet! They had the specific gown I was looking for plus one I had tried on at another boutique (which I had a horrible experience at in Seattle) that I had loved as well. I had the privilege of having Laurel and Taylor as my stylists and boy did I luck out! Those ladies knew exactly what they were doing! I was really hesitant to want to look for a dress again after the first dress shopping experience I had at another place where I had left confused and quite upset with how I was treated. But these women quickly calmed my nerves! They had dresses pulled for me that I had described in my consultation and they had the two dresses I had specifically asked for also! The girls made trying on dresses SO much fun and they knew exactly how and where to clip you in so you looked and felt like the dress was made for your body. I couldn't believe how amazing I felt! When it came down to the last two dresses I had a feeling with what I felt most comfortable with just by the questions they asked me as I was in the dress. Very helpful! I narrowed it down to THE ONE and I don't think I could have done it without the help and encouragement of my best friend who came with me and my two stylists! If I could give Honest in Ivory ten stars, I would! They treated me like a Queen and made my dream dress come true! This was beyond the best bridal experience I could ever hope for! Ladies. Do it! I have nothing to compare this place to as I have never been anywhere else but it was amazing. I am not a shopper nor do I like trying on clothes (yes even my big day dress! Lol!) but they made it super fun and easy. Alex was my stylist and she was fantastic! Super nice and made me feel so comfortable. Once I was able to describe what I was looking for she was able to pick out dresses that I loved! She is a visionary and helped me pick THE ONE! I had an incredible experience at Honest in Ivory. It was the first and only place I went to try on dresses! Shopping for a big purchase can be intimidating, but that was the farthest thing from my experience at their store. Before I made an appointment I called to check on COVID precautions and the person on the other end was so friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the efforts they made to keep things clean and safe! From the minute I walked in the door, I knew I was at the right place. The store is beautiful and they give you an experience to match. I never felt any pressure to make a decision and felt like they had my best interest at heart. My stylist Kenzie was amazing. She was kind, genuine, attentive and knew all the right questions to ask to help me find my dream dress. She created an ideal shopping experience for me from start to finish and truly made me feel so special. This is a brand new bridal shop in the area with a completely different feel compared to most in Spokane county. The ladies here are extremely helpful in helping me find a wedding gown and gain understanding of what I ws looking for. Their patience was extraordinary! Their only real negative was that they are so new. As a plus sized bride, they had limited selection of samples for me to see in person, but they did sit down with me to look at the online catalog of their dresses to show additional options. As they grow, so will the selection samples. I did not purchase my dress here, but I will be coming back as I loved many of their accessories and plan to look at those in depth now that I have my dress. read more

Seriously ladies--this place is amazing. Even if you've never ever tried on a dress and don't quite know what you want, the stylists here are totally wonderful and supportive. The best part about my stylist Karlie (not sure on spelling, sorry!) was that she helped me eliminate dresses that didn't wow me as much as others, which helped me narrow everything down to my fav dress in the store on my FIRST APPOINTMENT EVER! Even though I ended up finding "the dress" at a different shop, my experience here was nothing short of wonderful and my entourage and I were SO impressed. I am SO glad I went to honest in Ivory! I went in looking for a vow renewal dress. As I'm already married I was looking for something unique in style and color. I visited the store 2x before I found my dress, and each time I felt so comfortable. They women there are know what they're doing. They really listen to what you want. I had the pleasure of working with Karli and she made it so much fun. I tried on what felt like 100's of gowns to find that right one. I had a very frustrating experience here and have made sure my friends will not support this business. I tried on what I wanted to wear on my wedding day and it fit almost perfectly just a little loose. When I went to checkout the person checking me out wanted to size up two sizes with the reasoning that I may gain weight (I've been 140lb for the last ten years) and that every time it's tried on it stretches out. I talked at length with the salesperson that I was pretty happy with how it fit and if anything I needed to size down. They were very convincing and after going back and forth finally talked me into sizing up. Then Covid hit and it was going to take three months longer which is totally understandable but because I was still unsure of why I needed it two sizes up I called and the owner of the store answered. I explained the situation and that since they hadn't even started making it yet that I wanted to stick with the original size that fit me so well. She was very adamant that her salespeople were experts and couldn't be wrong and that it was good to size up. So I unfortunately conceded and said that I would trust her. When it arrived it was gigantic and looked awful. I took it to the seamstress and she asked why I ordered it so large and I explained the situation. She said it would be difficult to fix it and take a lot of work. When she finally did fix it the total cost of the alterations cost more then what I had originally paid for it!!!!!! I should have trusted my gut and not let them talk me into two sizes bigger. On my wedding day my makeup and hair artist said that they had heard of this happening several times at Honest in Ivory and have recommended brides not to go there either. I have now made sure none of my engaged friends will have the same experience and that they are all going somewhere else. Don't go here! read more

I went to a number of bridal shops, including some in Seattle, and here's why I ended up buying my dress at Honest in Ivory: 1. The experience was great from start to finish. Making my appointment on the website was super easy, the shop is SO gorgeous, and my friend and I were greeted with apple cider mimosas! I had the whole place to myself, and after going to bigger, bussier boutiques, this was really nice. The ladies who work there are also really sweet, attentive, and super chill. 2. The dress! I loved their collection, which had a great selection of unique dresses. If you're looking for a more traditional gown, they have those, but they also have a lot of more modern and less traditional dresses ranging from flowy boho to glamorous and sparkly. Their pricing is pretty standard too, with most dresses between $1-2000. The dress I ended up choosing had one aspect that I was unsure about, but my consultant took the time to walk me through some easy alterations that will make it just perfect! 3.
