My family is a huge fan of David Yurman and have frequented this store often. The only, only, ONLY reason I am writing this review is for Donovan. Donovan is probably their most special, most kind, and most genuine sales rep at this location. I remember a few months back, I had visited here to purchase a small pinky ring ( not very expensive compared to the huge pricey selection they have ) but that is only to say that Donovan made it feel like I was walking out the store with a million dollars worth of jewelry. He killed that. The presentation, the offering of a glass of champagne, the set up, and even him positioning the bag in front of the David Yurman sign inside just so I can get a good photo was just incredible. It was memorable. I had returned with my boyfriend the 3rd week of December to purchase his first DY piece-- PRAYING Donovan was working, but instead was helped by Jillian. Horrible experience. She said his bracelet was out of stock throughout all locations and when I double checked if the Plano location had it, she said no. I checked on the website immediately as we were checking out and saw it said IN STOCK. Huh... that's funny. When I confronted her about it, she stuttered and honestly, I forgot what she said. She did not offer water, no glass of champagne, no photo op, no nothing. It was just a sale. EXTREMELY disappointing for my boyfriend's FIRST DY piece and our Christmas present experience. It was not supposed to go that way. After we left, my boyfriend noticed she did not spell the shipping address correctly AT ALL. We went back to have her FIX the address-- so extremely irritated and just so freakin disappointed. Returned 2 weeks later and ONLY wanted Donovan. He proceeded to help me and my father with our Christmas shopping and again, he did not disappoint. He is truly amazing. He never makes me feel like we are taking too long, always suggests different pieces, compliments, offers beverages during the experience, and truly is remarkable. I can always count on amazing customer service from him-- which I guess is hard to find even within the same DY store lol. If you EVER visit this location... you know EXACTLY who to ask for. I returned and item here but the money NEVER hit my bank account. I called the store 5 days later and they said that the return was processed. I called my bank at the 1 week mark and the bank said David yurman never processed the return back and they had to open a claim to get my refund. The bank confirmed it should have been processed by then. I have never had to open a claim with the bank in order to get a return from a store...... read more

First, i absolutely love all of my David Yurman jewelry. The quality (especially of their silver pieces) is unmatched and makes me feel confident to continue adding to my DY collection. Second, I have visited the DY in Northpark Mall many times and have always been helped immediately by knowledgeable sales associates who all managed to find the delicate balance between being attentive without making me feel pressured to make a purchase. Today, however, the sales associate who assisted me, Dennis, went over and above to provide outstanding customer service, and it was truly appreciated. I took in a bracelet I had purchased several months ago but thought was kind of warped/didn't sit on my wrist correctly to see about sending it in for repair... and was shocked by the generous resolution that was offered. Minutes later, it was completely handled and we had moved on to finding a ring to stack with one I had purchased previously. He patiently got out every ring I wanted to see (as well as an assortment of other pieces that I was interested in or that caught my eye), and I left with a new ring that I absolutely love. What I never mentioned is that last week, my husband was very unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer, and we only found out yesterday that the prognosis is excellent, thank God. Needless to say, it's been a stressful 1 1/2 weeks and while relieved, we are still reeling from all of it. So, the total surprise of something I was sure would be at least somewhat of a hassle actually being the easiest thing ever plus the gracious way I was treated by Dennis really just made my whole day. : ) An excellent representative for the DY brand. and thank you again for being so kind without ever knowing how much it was needed/appreciated in that momet. read more

Weight for value would be around $1,200 & you're brainwashed into being ripped off for 'luxury'. Support staff are rude, they don't do the job & refuse to provide weight details. My initial purchase was made at the Plano location but after my interaction with the sales person I choose not to go back. The energy just wasn't a positive experience. I thought it was me but I asked my friend who bought the gift for me did he have the same experience and he agreed. I decided to replace my bracelet at north park and was assisted by Dennis who was extremely pleasant and eager to help and make things right. Although I had the same issue once replaced and had to return to have the bracelet replaced once more each time I have interacted with the associates they have been kind. Since this was my first purchase with this brand and not for myself, I did take a moment to look at several pieces, Virginia was patient and gave excellent feedback. She was NOT "car salesman" like. Picture of the store hours and they are closed. I drove all the way to pick up earrings and buy a new necklace. Store hours say they are opened until 8pm and the guy inside gave me the slit throat sign through the window saying they are closed. He was rude and turned away, didn't even open the door to give me an explanation. Horrible customer service and leaving a sour taste on the brand. It was 6:30pm when I arrived they didn't even say come back in xx time or anything. Very disappointed. We were not the only customers shocked they were closed. read more

I came here a year ago and had rude and unprofessional customer service and decided then I would never spend my money there. My friend got a ring here and we decided to go in while shopping. We waited 30 minutes to go in, there was literally no one in the store and when we went in the sales professionals seemed to be annoyed and did not care. Then the lady ordered the wrong ring size and then we found out that size would of not fit anyway but she told my friend she knew 100% that size would fit. For an expensive store, they really seem to not want business and waste your time. Go next door to Tiffany or any store for that matter and your customer service will be 10x better. read more

This was the perfect spot for my fiancés engagement ring. I gave her 6 places to look and this was the absolute best environment she chose. No one was trying to get her to pick anything they thought she would like. It was a far better experience than what Tiffany or Robinson Bros had to offer. Diamonds direct seemed to have pretty good results with their clients as well. Very intimate purchasing room with a home like feeling up to the choosing of the ring. Fitting was delayed but only by a week. That would make me want to give a (4.7), but they need a boost. They are far greater than a 3 star review. read more

I can't say what happens most days, but I made an appointment for Monday, December 27th with my two daughters to pick out their Christmas presents. We arrived ten minutes early, told the gentleman at the door that we had an appointment, he gave me the once over and told me to get in line. I stood there a few minutes, asked again thinking maybe he misunderstood that we had an appointment and showed him my email. He mumbled something about not having the name of an associate on the email, and asked me to get back in line. We walked over to the David Yurman counter in Neiman's, bought exactly what my daughter wanted, and had excellent customer service. Shame on you for this behavior. We will not be back. Remember, people with the money to spend on this type of jewelry often don't look like what you would expect. And it should not matter if we do. read more

Manager refused to help because it looked worn. It's a new piece of David Yurman purchased THIS WEEK. So if it looks worn it is a knock on Yurman. Great job. I walked into this store yesterday because I had a gift card for nordstrom that I needed to get rid of and I was looking into the David Yurman albion pendant. Since I had to order online to get my item, I wanted to go to the store in the mall to check out the pieces before I placed the order. When I explained to the SA my situation, I couldn't believe my eyes when she blatantly passed me on to someone else because "I had a gift card to nordstrom". This was the perfect opportunity for them to make a rapport with a potential new customer. Instead the SA was quick with me, and made me feel like an inconvenience. I believe i should have been treated no differently than any other customer in that store because I'm still buying DY accessories. I left two stars because i haven't written them off completely. It was an experience with only one Sales Associate and I look forward to giving this location another opportunity to redeem themselves. read more

We came in to get a wedding band for my husband. Nicole helped us out. She was fun to work with and wasn't pushy. She helped us with sizing. Then helped find the ring we were looking at online. They didn't have it in store, so she helped us order it. She offered champagne, beer and water while we shopped and tried on rings. When we receive the ring, the wrong size was ordered. So we went back to get the correct size. The sales associate that helped us was friendly and accommodating. If I have anything else to get in the future, I'll get it here. read more

Stopped in to pick up a few items I saw online. The store appeared busy but no full. Looked around for 10 min without greeting or acknowledgement. Finally had to ask the security guard to inquire if I can get some help and was told to wait. Mind you he wasn't rude but it certainly appeared he was not interested. Waited another few more minutes without any inclination of when I can expect assistance. This was my first time attempting to shop at this location and needless to say it will be a while before returning. Note to management. Acknowledging you customer goes a long way. My partner and I went there to get a bracelet I wanted and Dennis helped us. My partner found a ring he liked and we got that also. The ring was a little large and they let us come back a few days later and exchange it for a size smaller and refunded the price difference as the smaller ring was $200 less. We had gone in with a preconceived idea of the kind of wedding band we wanted. But Michael went above and beyond to make sure we saw all options. I went their today to exchange a bracelet my husband bought me for Christmas. I got there at 12:30 and there was a sign at the door stating that they are closed for inventory until 2. So I waited and walked around the mall. When I went back at 2, the sign was changed to closed today because they didn't finish the inventory. I hand gestured to many of the sales clerk to walk up to the window so I can ask them a question. Not one came. I am disgusted. First of all, inventory should be done after hours. What idiot decides that a Sunday after the holidays is a good time for it? Just for that I am so furious that I will be returning my bracelet and buying something else elsewhere. read more
