A great place for a leisurely breakfast in the heart of Baltimore! Just blocks from downtown hotels and the convention center. Portions are more than ample and the price is right. My pancakes were fluffy and hearty at the same time, which is hard to pull off. I was very happy. (Small points off for serving the updated branding of Aunt Jemima instead of real maple syrup. But you can't have everything.) The fried potatoes were cooked absolutely perfectly, as were my eggs. And when I asked for crispy bacon (I don't like the floppy stuff) the order taker made sure to note it. And it came out great. Coffee was good, with refills from staff at the counter. Pepsi products are self serve at the soda dispenser. Staff was very friendly and didn't mind us lingering after we ate to plan out our day.

The building is in an old bank but you can't miss it when you walk in, it's right when you enter. If you go during lunch, it's very crowded. No matter where you stand, you seem to be in someone's way. I literally was in 4 different spots in corners of the room and still had people saying excuse me to get by. The employee who took my order was nice and told me the process. You place your order. They give you a number. Then you pay when your food is ready and they call yournumber. My food came out pretty quick overall. My food was just okay. I got a chicken cheesesteak with fries. The bread wasn't really toasted, just around the edges. The chicken was cubed and orange cheese. My biggest issue was lack of seasoning on the chicken and the fries. Unfortunately this was probably a one and done for me. Employees were nice but the food was average.

I randomly located this place by my job and ordered a Asian Grilled Chicken Salad on my 1st visit. Great telephone service, visually attractive, spacious, organized, and easy to navigate. Impressive customer service. Since that 1st visit, I've been there 3-4 more times. I've had their Chicken and Rice Soup. Very tasty. MD Crab... a little bland. Old Bay Wings, very yum !! Great sized wing too !! I love their fresh brewed peach tea. I have a few more things on my food wishlist that I would like to try. This Cafe is located in the perfect spot for locals!! I can't wait to return !!

Loved this place! It was such a whole in the wall place in Baltimore. You go in, order your food, and get your food within minutes! It was super quick and super tasty. The perfect spot to go to when I was starving for lunch. And don't get me started on the panini. The sauce that they put in the sandwich elevated the flavors. Each sandwich comes with a bag of chips too.

Everything Bagel w/ Lox and Scallion Cream Cheese

Zoom in to see the lox in the bagel. I think imma just stick to the drinks. I got an apple latte and it's pretty good but the bagel feels like ragebait.

Good Sandwich. Nice place to have lunch during Jury Duty on a week day. Nice location in walking distance from the court house.

First off, the building is amazing. It's an old bank turned into a restaurant. The doors are a little hard to open but it's pretty cool looking. We went here 2 days in a row and if we were staying longer, we'd go everyday. The staff were very friendly. You go up to the counter to order then to another counter to pay. We happened to go both days right before the rush. The first day we ordered lunch because we had a late start in the morning. My turkey and provolone panini was so hot and delicious. My husband's chicken souvlaki was a lot of food and also delicious. The second day we made it to breakfast. We both got the power breakfast sandwich and shared a bowl of fresh fruit. It was just what we needed, something healthy! Service was fast and the prices were reasonable. If we ever go back to Baltimore, we will definitely go back there.

I'm a fan of David and Dad's Catering. Whenever they cater events, I'm pleased with the boxed lunches or the hot food. To be clear, they do not have extravagant flavors or elaborate presentations, but it's simple food that works for business lunches, meetings, etc. GLOWS: -They have an expansive menu of hot and cold options. You can mix and match to create your desired menu. -The dessert options are simple but pretty good -Although I have never been, they have a nice cafe location as well... as Ive seen driving by!

Honey old bay Wings

These hot honey old bay wings were a hit. These have probably been the most perfectly cooked wings I've had in a while.

Solid breakfast restaurant in an elegant old building. It looks like a former bank from the old days, with its own elegance.

I loved the selection of pastries they offered--the pandan pastry was definitely my favorite. My husband ordered the drip coffee over ice, and I got the Vietnamese iced coffee. Both coffees were excellent. The Vietnamese coffee was a bit too sweet for my taste, and it was served in a very small glass. I think it would have been even better with a little more coffee to balance the sweetness. For lunch, we ordered the kimbap and the egg bowl, and both dishes were outstanding. The only downside was that it took about 35 minutes for our food to arrive. However, the cafe was extremely busy and clearly backed up, so we didn't mind the wait too much--especially since the food was so delicious. The indoor space is quite small, but they do offer outdoor seating. I can't wait to come back and try more of their Asian-inspired pastries and dishes. What a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!

The play on sweet and savory is just so comforting. I also had the apple cinnamon butter muffin and the muffin top was insanely delicious. The crumble on top of the apple butter was gluttony. I beleive they rotate their muffins regularly which I appreciate. I've had their raspberry matcha in the summer which I remember tasted so fresh on a hot day. And I recently had their 5 spice latte which was a great balance of spice and sweet. Overall, I honestly would consider moving to the area just to live next to this cafe not being dramatic at all.

The bartenders were polite and cleaned our table quickly, considering the place was packed they were doing an amazing job. The Buffalo Garlic Parm sauce for the wings was clearly home made and without realizing it we were there on a Tuesday making the wings only 9 dollars, the blue cheese is very mild but worked well with the sauce. The shrimp po'boy was large enough to split and was comparable to a sandwich from New Orleans in quality. I was tempted by the club but the turkey isn't the style I like, otherwise I could easily see myself trying more of the menu because it's clear the cook was skilled. The rail ginger beer and rum was inexpensive and well made and their selection of beer while currently missing a few key dark beer items was not bad at all, they included some draft beer options as well outside of the standard light beers and National Bohemian. All in all I would see myself returning when I head to the area for Ottobar events to try more of their food menu, just remember to get there somewhat early before the kitchen closes at 10.

If you're talking Baltimore pit beef, Chaps Pit Beef has been a staple for years, and after coming here for over a decade, I can confidently say it still delivers every single time. Their new location, just a stone's throw from the original humble shack, is a huge upgrade. You get the same iconic food, but now with a much larger dining room that actually makes it easy to bring a group without fighting for space. It's the best of both worlds. Same old school flavor with a more comfortable setup. On my most recent visit, I stuck with my go to. A loaded hoagie absolutely packed with pit beef, corned beef, sausage, and turkey. It's massive, messy in the best way, and exactly what you want when you're craving something unapologetically Baltimore. I paired it with a large order of fries, which were piled high and perfect for sharing. Decided to switch it up a bit and try the Holy Cod fish sandwich too, and that ended up being a sleeper hit. Huge portion of crispy fried cod, topped with fresh coleslaw on a soft bun. Not something you usually go to Chaps for, but honestly worth ordering. Everything came out crazy fast, which is always impressive considering how busy they can get. Quick stop at the condiment bar is a must. Load up on the free pickles, onions, Carolina Gold mustard, and that tiger sauce. The horseradish and mayo combo just hits different on pit beef. Bottom line, Chaps might not be a hidden gem anymore, but it doesn't need to be. It still outperforms most spots in the pit beef game and continues to be one of the best sandwiches you can get in Baltimore.

I ordered the house BRD sauce and honey mustard and both were perfect in my eyes!
