Have been going here for sometime. I ask for Annie, nice lady does a great job with my mani/pedi. I've even had my eyebrows done by her and wanted all three services this time. I know how busy they get so wednesday I made an appt and asked for Annie. On arrival for my 2:00 pm appt on Saturday 6/20, another customer walks in and is greeted by Annie. At this point they are looking at the schedule and telling me I didn't make an appointment and the other customer was there yesterday and booked her today at 2:00. Needless to say, I wasn't going to argue. Said farewell and went across the parking lot to the new nail spot Nail Art Spa. Too bad, I really liked the tech at Davi's and tipped well because she would take her time. If you make an appointment, call and confirm before you show up. read more

Me and my friends got are nails done here. We normally love coming here but today they were awful. My nail lady with a blonde bob was such a jerk and didn't want to put my nail tips back on after i got a fill, then she make my v french tip so thick it's ugly. My friend had another lady she asked for black normally french with a V initial they made the french red and gave her no initial read more

I have been going to this nail salon for nearly ten years now - You can't beat the prices and the services is always exceptional. I'm genuinely puzzled by any negative reviews - my visits are always nothing short of fantastic! read more

I wish 0 stars was an option . This was the worst experience I've ever had . Both girls that did my friend &i were unapproachable, rude and clearly thought watching game shows came over the happiness of clients. I've been here 3 times before& disappointed . My friend swore it was better & it proved to be worse . All of my nails are uneven and friends of mine have even asked me why I would even pay to have this atrocity done to my nails I didn't know that somebody could mess up a French manicure so bad. Not to mention I was cut on multiple fingers read more

this place is a scam. I went to this filthy place because my friend was shopping in Wal there. I asked for a regular manicure. the manicurist was cutting my nails while at the same time watching a show on her phone vi asked her to stop because I was afraid she was going to cut my skin. then when it was time to pay I was told I owed $30. I said for a regular manicure. she said she gave me a gel. I told her I didn't want a gel. she said last time I was there I got a gel. I told her I wanted to let my nails breathe and didn't want gel. too bad. I got gel last time. After raising my blood pressure she said she would only charge $25. I told her I was being ripped off for $25 for a regular manicure. when she gave me my charge to pay, she was charging $30. still string to rip me off. when I refused to sign she gave me back $5.00 in cash. this place should be shut down. it's filthy and a rip off to an older customer. Made an appointment with Mimi for 1:45 and she started with me exactly on time! This was the first time I've been to this place that it wasn't crazy busy so that might be why I got in right away. There have been times when I've waited as long as an hour just for them to start on me. The place is okay, it's inside of a Walmart, so it's not a typical spa experience that you would expect and it's very small. There are only two pedicure chairs and not too many spots for manicures. They say that they do waxing, but I can't see where they would do that in the tiny area. Regardless of the place itself, every time I've been here I have never left disappointed. The workers always give me the designs I ask for or something even better than I came in for. I will definitely return! read more

EXTREMELY upset at the fact that I just went in with full grown hairy caterpillars on my face because I have been growing out my eye brows for so long and I came here to get them done since I used to always go here and they used to be good but I just had my eye brows absolutely BUTCHERED ! I am mad I even paid, I'm embarrassed they are really that bad, I had been growing them out for so long, I am so upset. This placed used to be so great all around and now I hear nothing but negative things about them, honestly if this is the type of work they do then they really shouldn't be in business. read more

This was my place to go when I kept up with my nails. They are affordable and they do a great job. They are great at doing designs on fingers and toes. I always got acrylic and went back for fill ins. They know what they are doing. The owner is nice and got to recognize me. They do a good job on waxing eye brows too. However, there is always a long wait, even if you call ahead. They try their best to make you happy and get you in. If you want an inexpensive place that does a good job on nails and waxing, this is the place to go. read more

I waited to write a review to see how my nails would hold up. I got pink and white acrylic ombré nails on June first. Today is June 23 and they are still perfect! No lifting, no cracks or breaks. I forgot the woman's name but she's great! I'm going for a fill in this week, but these nails hold up so well! I don't have time to go back every two weeks because I'm running around after my toddler, but I like for my nails to look nice. Also a plus is their late hours! read more

Been going to here for years. Mimi is the best! I always get compliments on my nails. She does such an amazing job!

Best Nails Salon In town (Rockaway, NJ). My Mom and My Sisters alway go there to have their manicure and pedicure done.

I LOVEEEE going here. As a stay at home mom of two little ones, 13 months and almost 3, my time is limited. Maia gets me in whenever I need for my fill ins and pedicures and does a great, quick job! I am able to get there every 4-5 weeks because of the kids and they last until my next appt. Maia is my go to girl!! read more

Very disappointing. I was there at 10 on the dot when they opened for a gel manicure . Took me right away because they were all just sitting around. When other people started coming in the woman started to get flustered and overwhelmed. She finished my gel manicure. My nails were very sharp and jagged , I did not get even lotion rubbed on my hands never mind a massage and the whole nail was not painted just the middle. The whole time she was on the phone talking to someone on speaker phone. Horrible experience. read more

Its in the Walmart but was recommended to me from the girl at a store at the mall... I had a pedicure. Not bad priced. Some guy did it... That was weird. Never had a male paint my toes... Well not at a salon at least lol... But it was quick, and he did a good job. Not my best pedicure but it did in a pinch and I will be back. read more

Since the owner changed, the business changed. Very rude people. Don't use this place. Go somewhere else to get your nails done. Poor work.

I've been going to DaVi in Rockaway since 2009. I have experience with both owners, and loved both. Mai is the owner currently and is really good at accommodating all walk-ins and spur of the moment calls. I have always loved the work that the ladies do on my LCN gel manicures. They do very good pedicures as well. Thank you, Mai and Ladies for your good care Tip: check with Mai when best time to book is, because there are times that the salon can get quite busy with walk-insDebbie read more

Worst nail salon I have ever been to. I had an appointment for gel fill in and pedicure. The technician they gave me was incompetent for uv gel. She was inexperienced with the filing machine and messed up my nails on one hand. I complained and had another technician do my nails. They were angry starting talking in Korean and laughing pretty sure it was about me. the second tech was older and so annoyed with me she was rough with my hands. She did fix my nails and did a decent job but their customer service is deplorable. I am sure they were not laughing when I left no tip! read more

They gave me an extremely hard time for not wanting gel polish. I simply do not like the up-keep of the gel polish and would prefer to be able to easily take the polish off when it chips. They raised the price of a regular manicure simply because I asked for no gel. The woman who berated me for it, I'm presuming a manager or possibly owner, was yelling at me about it across the salon (we were in two different rows) so everyone heard her questioning me why I didn't want gel polish. It was extremely embarrassing. The woman who did my nails was very nice, but did not do a good paint job - she did not even put a top coat on my nails. I asked for a single color with a stripe going across the nail. They had two different women do my nails, one for the single color, one for the stripe. I could do a better job at home - save the $30 (yes that's what they charged me for non-gel!!) and do it yourself! read more

I've gone here multiple times and to be honest, they haven't done a great job. They are definitely overworked and tired. The man who did my nails the last time I was there was huffing and puffing and miserable the entire time he was painting my nails. The paint job wasn't good either unfortunately. Paint was on my cuticles and my nails weren't filed even. :/ I have to agree with the other comments that this place is kind of dirty. There are tools in cups at the tables covered in nail dust. I think they would do better AWAY from Walmart because they just have too many people going in and out and they can't do a decent job because of it. I've tried this place a few times and they don't recognize you or care that you keep coming back. I had to get my nails re-done three days after they were painted at a better nail salon. What sucks is that I drove 20 mins out of my way and the better one is 5 mins away!! They've lost my business after this last visit. :( read more

First of all, Ive been going here for atleast 2years. I would mainly see Tina. Ive also seen Julie & Mimi.. They were great! Im not gonna lie, Tina is amazing! I always walked out of there w a smile on my face.... Untill my last visit.... I had an appointment, i knew i was gonna be a little late, so i called & told her i was gonna be maybe 10-15mins late.. She said ok.... & When i got there, she was gonna have me come in the next day, trying to tell me i was 30mins late, after all the times ive went to her w an appointment, always, & i would have to wait 15-30mins sometimes, but i wouldn't mind.... & I walked out that day, but because it wasnt even 2weeks after i just saw her, & it was the second time it happened that the gel chipped on my one nail, as well as the acrylic cracking in the middle of another one of my nails, starting to lift & i needed a new set than & there & She tried pushing me away.... So, i walked out, called Julie, the head honcho, & she told me she was sorry about it & to come back in. I went back in, got my full set by Tina, while she was doing another ladies nails as well than tried charging me $75 which ive never paid that much for a new set, again ive been going there for 2years!! But they took $15 off cause of the complications.... Thanks, but no thanks. I won't deal w that again! No customer should be treated like that.... So i found my new nail place, Mike & Kimmies in Dover... Sorry, not sorry!! read more

My friend goes there and gets her nail done quite nice. I went today - my nails which were long are now stubs (I asked the all be the same length - so much for that). AND, the reason I went is because even with my reading glasses, I can't polish them so great any more. Well, I polish them much better than the pro there. Back to doing my own nails and keeping that money in my pocket for something better! read more

Absolute worst customer service. Paid for a gel manicure Saturday. By Sunday it was already chipping! When I went back to get r fixed, they said it would be an hour and a half wait. When I asked instead for a refund, she refused. They do not stand by their services. I've seen them completely ignore any customer who needs a broken nail fixed. Not worth your time or money! read more

What a huge disappointment. I asked the owner how much it would cost for a gel manicure. She told me $18. She started working on me and would be with me for 2 min before getting up and moving to someone else. This went on for 40 minutes. She used a paper towel on the women sitting next to me and wanted to use the same towel on me. When I asked for a fresh paper towel, she responded, it's only alcohol. When I went to pay she told me the charge was $38. I calmly said that she told me $18. She started to make a scene. I would beware of this salon. My experience was the owner lies and it didn't seem sanitary. I would give 0 stars if system allowed. read more

Told me 20 minute wait, it was over an hour, no seats to wait in. As soon as I sat down, the tech asked me to pay. Bad nail polish, mock of OPI called QRS, clumpy and didn't dry. My cuticles were covered in polish, I figured the technician would fix that, NOPE. I asked for black glitter, and what I got was a black nail polish, that had glitter in it over the messy pink. I told the tech it didn't look right and she didn't respond. I asked her to take it off, she refused and plainly said, "You can go now". ARE YOU KIDDING ME? read more

I go here because it is super cheap. I get an acrylic fill with a french and gel over it for $22. It really depends on who you get at Davi Nails. I've had some crappy looking nails sometimes when I walk out of there, but for the most part they do okay. They do excellent pedicure though, my feet felt so smooth after and it was only $21. I would recommend if your into quantity not quality. read more

My name is Lucy I've been going to this place for awhile on and off, it used to be really nice now the place is filthy expensive & the owner is most rudest arrogant woman I've ever met. I went there yesterday to get gels on my hand which cost $50. I want you to know I have one arm she charged me 30 I said why not 25? She told me two hands 50 one hand 30 well all I can tell you was I lost it! I asked her how could she punished me for having one arm she wouldn't answer me, so what is it? am I like a pair of socks buy 2 pairs for $5 or one for 3 I am heartbroken I cannot tell you how sad I was that she would treat me that way I will never go there again I have a hair salon in Rockaway for 30 years I would never do that to someone but,I'm so glad that I'm not a miserable person like her. If I could give 0 stars or even negative for that matter I would I always thought the owner was rude but delt with it...I have been going there for about 4 years. Yesterday I went in and I had someone new I asked to have my nails a little bit wide nothing crazy...just not so much narrow...long story my nails we're triangles...not only that but I wanted a simple flower design and the girl...who told me from her own mouth she has been doing nails for a long time could not do the flower so I did not get even close to what I wanted and still payed an outrageous amount of money for them...I thought i could deal with them until the next fill but there was no way. I went back today. .the next day...Julie...the owner asked why I didn't say anything last night I explained that I had already been there the previous night for 2 hours even after calling days in advance for an appointment and I had dinner plans at a certain time...not only that but me not being one to complain I was gunna try to deal with it...she would not fix my nails...I used to love this place but now after this experience and how rude the owner was I will not be back. I did not get my nails fixed or my money back...as a matter of fact I had to go someplace else and get my nails fixed and obviously pay for it. Do not waste your time or money just go to tu's nails in the mall that's who fixed mine...they did a great job...ask for tommy read more

ive been here several times, cheap efficient but unfortunately today is my last time. today i came to get a fill in a brought my mother in law who is visiting from romania to get a pedicure. she doesnt speak english so i tune in to what she is doing to ensure she is okay. they said her toes were dry and sent her on her way but unfortunately when we got home paint was all over her toes. no big deal but since it is new years we went back to get them fixed. i walked in and explained what happend and the owner (at least i think she is) starting getting loud in front of all the customers embarrassing my mother in law, myself and in front of my 4 year old. i figured i would be able to get them fixed even if i had to pay more and maybe get my little ones nails painted but no... i got my backside handed to me in front of an entire store. never again... i would think they would have been more sensitive to people who arent from the US. read more
