She then proceeded to tell me I want just there. So I had to pull up bank transactions to show her. Then she started scratching her head. She say next time it's $40. If you'd like a place that gives services with more care and is cheaper for shellac/gel nail services than most, try this place out. The location is also super clean inside as an added bonus.

I finally got in, as they moved to a new location. I opted for a non gel pedicure and was surprised by the experience. I am used to having my feet soaked prior to service and after reading about the difference. It's more hygienic to do it waterless. Everything lasts longer! Crystal did not service me, but she noticed that I was new and made sure that I was comfortable and enjoyed my experience. This is a black owned business and the ladies were great. The ambiance is still in progress, but it was clean and neat. She makes her own scrub that is available for sale. Parking is ample and it's next door to Ross! Definitely a great space to relax and get some quiet time in. I've been to so many salons that are chaotic and it's hard to relax, and this was definitely not one of them. They have a big selection of polishes and colors, and I was seated and offered something to drink immediately. The nail techs were very professional and efficient and both did a great job. It's rare that I leave a salon with shellac that hasn't bubbled or been messed up in some way. I'm really picky about how my nails are done because I typically do them at home, but I was more than happy with the results of both my manicure and pedicure. Importantly, both nail techs were super gentle with my hands and feet and checked in throughout the service to make sure I was happy with how things were going. I also asked to see the full service menu since it wasn't posted anywhere in the salon. During the service, I was offered a glass of white or red wine, or soda, which was such a thoughtful touch. My technician, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, was warm, efficient, and gave me a thorough foot massage. She also placed a heated wrap on my neck, which added another level of relaxation. Today I walked in, stated my name and informed the crew that I had made an appointment online. I was then met with rudeness, combativeness, and irritation with a technician stating, "no online appointments, we don't do that here." It also appeared that as I saw individuals walk in, all of the White patrons were greeted politely and the minorities were not greeted or even acknowledged. I had never run into this previously, but today it was noticeable and honestly irritatingly unacceptable. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be returning to this establishment.

Short version: A nice, clean neighborhood salon with VERY friendly ladies, reasonable prices and lots of parking available. They will also accommodate you if you show up within 30 minutes of closing. Long version: I got there the other evening, hoping to soak my feet and be pampered. All the pedicure chairs were taken, but the lady at the manicure desk smiled and said: "Go ahead and sit - we get to you soon." And they did - within 20 minutes or so. Since they didn't have more than five ladies working (which included six pedicures, four manicures and a wax job for some big woman in the back), that was pretty speedy. Wow. Once in the big comfy massage chair, I let the lady work her magic. Ah... Her technique was good. The only gripe I have - hence the 4-star rating - was that there was no soap in the tub. Just plain warm water. Oh, well. Can't win them all. BUT, it was terrific. Not only did she do the usual trim, cuticle removal and buff, but her exfoliation procedure was awesome. She also did some reflexology and pressure-point therapy on my size 10s, which for some reason cleared up my sinuses. Go figure! Price was only $25 for a 45-minute pedicure. WOW. I'm a fan. When I paid, the lady was most gracious: "Thanks so much. You come back now, okay? We like to see you again!" Nice. Very nice. You can bet I'll be back in a few weeks! ;-)

I have to deal with this horrible nails because she doesn't know how to do a proper set and got upset bc I asked for a fix from a different person. Even the employee who saw the nails felt embarrassed when I asked her if this is a well done job?! But if that's the owner it makes sense why the place is empty anyway, STAY AWAY FORM THIS PLACE!!!
