I couldn't eat the skewers - they were so spicy. I could smell the spice on them. Per others though, they were good. The Muharram was delicious. For the negatives, their non-burger beef offerings suffer from the beef having lots of chewy bits in them. For example, their steak and cheese should be a sure thing, but every bite had a bit chewy bit I had to stop eating to pull out. They also overdo it on the mayo/sauce for that sandwich. The fries were good but you don't go to a specialty Mediterranean place to get fries with a meal described as a plate. Apparently, you can no longer get a true plate of chicken shawarma with rice here. I do plan to return again some day and try the Kofta Kebab or Mixed Grill Plate from the "Entree" section since these still come with rice but everyone should be avoiding the "Specialties" plates as these are poorly executed and severely overpriced. Regardless of what you are ordering, I would highly recommend calling in your order to confirm exactly what you are going to get with your order since the online menus have no details whatsoever.

Roksana's Persian Food Saved Our Graduation Celebration…read more I cannot thank Roksana's Persian Food enough. After another restaurant (Caspian Persian Cuisine) unexpectedly cancelled our graduation event catering at the last minute, we were left scrambling just hours before a gathering of 40 people. It was a stressful situation, and we honestly weren't sure how we were going to pull it off. Then we found Roksana's. Despite the extremely short notice, they immediately understood the urgency, stepped up, and delivered. The entire order was prepared on time, complete, and exactly what we needed. They even threw in a few extras, which was an incredibly thoughtful gesture during an already chaotic day. And the food? Absolutely incredible! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Our guests loved it, and several people asked where the food came from. What could have been a disaster turned into a memorable celebration thanks to their professionalism, generosity, and outstanding food. It's easy to provide good service when everything goes according to plan. It's much harder to rise to the occasion when someone needs help at the last minute. Roksana's did exactly that. We are immensely appreciative and grateful. They didn't just cater our event. They saved it. Highly recommended, and we will absolutely be back.

While the flavor was pleasant, I was expecting more char from the kebab (especially from the sugars in the pomegranate molasses) and for the meat to be more tender, after the staff hyped up this particular item. I also don't think that the price of $29 for this item was justified.
