One of the few places in the area that stays open past 9pm. After work I order online and the food is always ready by the time I get there. The staff is always nice, the last time I went the lady working the counter went out of her way to let me know she put an extra line of sauce by accident and if that was okay (which was more than okay with me) and it was a nice gesture making sure I was aware of that instead of just handing over the order. Good people, good food, good hours I recommend the falafel on rice or salad read more

Ordered the platter with chicken and it was disappointing - needed a little more spices and salt. The colors are vibrant and seem flavorful but it was not. The sauces included were good but spicy. At least the portion was generous and the delivery was fast. read more

One of my favorite halal places to go to. I always get the chicken over rice with a lot of white sauce and red sauce. The staff is always friendly and quick. You can sit in and eat or take out. They also sell the white and red sauce bottles which I love to have to make meals at home. The ambiance is always refreshing read more

You get no meat if you are stupid enough to have it delivered a real rip off that had no meat I wouldn't ever recommend this place the food came cold. read more

The staff is extremely friendly and the restaurant itself is very clean. Portions are generous and the meat packs a big punch of flavor. We will definitely be back! read more

Shah’s Halal Food - Chicken and lamb combo over rice with white and green sauce + all the fixings. - Halal Near Me - Walpole, Massachusetts

I used Shah's Halal to cater my baby's birthday party last weekend. I'm so happy I went with them! We had a large party and needed quality food in large portions and they delivered. Multiple party-goers asked me where I got the catering from because they loved the food, especially the lamb. In addition, they were super flexible as I dealt with some unpredictable weather that made me change the day last minute. They made sure everything was taken care of. I recommend them for any parties you are having, and I plan on using them again in the future! read more

Came across this spot while looking for a quick dinner on the way home during a long drive. The folks at the counter were super nice and friendly and explained the menu/gave us recommendations. This place just opened a month ago but it looks like they have their operations down pat already. We got the food to go, but the inside looked very clean and the booths looked like a good place to sit and enjoy the food if we had more time to stick around. The interior is very spacious overall as well. The food is good :) if you've ever had halal food/gyro platters from the carts in NYC, this is reminiscent of those platters. They add some new optional extras like hummus and black beans which I liked. You can also build your plate as you go "chipotle" style. I like the combo platters here more than the platters I've had at the chicken & rice places I've gone to near Boston. I think what differentiates it is the rice?? The brown basmati rice here is really good. The price is also better than the prices I've paid. I was expecting $15 per platter, but I think their combo platters were around $11 each which was surprising. We got two combo platters with extra protein (+$2 extra), a side of waffle fries, and a drink for $33 total. Very fair price. You get good portions as well. We had enough for leftover lunch the next day. They also sell their white and red sauces bottled to eat at home. I might try that out next time I'm around. It's too bad I don't live nearby to frequent this place more often, but I will be coming back when I'm in the area. Recommend you check this place out if you're in the area and craving some combo platters! read more

We were in the plaza getting some things and I was starving and needed a quick bite to eat. This is a quick service (fast food) Indian restaurant. The meat was flavorful and the veggies were fresh. We all enjoyed our gyros. It looks like they are new. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. I also appreciated the clean restroom as you never know at these places. If your in the area and need a quick bite, it's a good place to try. read more

Shah’s Halal Food - Halal Near Me - Walpole, Massachusetts

I have visited other halal restaurants before, but while passing through the area, I decided to try this one out amidst the abundance of junk food joints nearby. Opting for something different, I ordered the lamb platter my usual choice is beef (shaved in shawarma or gyro style) at other places but they don't have that as an option here . The lamb was presented in chopped chunks, and it was absolutely delicious, especially when paired with brown basmati rice and topped with lettuce, onions, peppers, and white sauce. Although I was tempted to try the hot sauce, I refrained due to its potential spiciness at halal eateries, not wanting to risk discomfort during my long drive. This establishment seemed newly opened, boasting a very clean and casual ambiance. The service was quick and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. With such a great option available, you should question the necessity of frequenting other fast-food establishments in the area. read more

Not much seating for the available space in the restaurant but it is relatively clean. The staff was friendly and helpful explaining their menu and sauces to new customers. The food is ok. Very tender chicken and lamb but the overall flavor is just ok. Good enough if you're hungry and in a hurry. read more

Shah’s Halal Food - Combo gyro - Halal Near Me - Walpole, Massachusetts

Who cares how late they stay open until ? The food at this place is just not good. Not even for fast food standards. I should have gone across the parking lot to Chik-Fil-A, but I wanted to try Shah's. I wish I went to Chick-Fil-A. I got a chicken gyro. The chicken is deep fried. What ?? I have never had a chicken gyro with fried chicken. And... They charge for paper plates. Not going back.. Ever. read more

4 star experience. Food was good. Service was on point. Place was spotless clean. Owner was great helping out with a credit card issue. Will definitely return. read more

Food is average, not that great. They nickel and dime on every item on the food, really ridiculous. Not going back.

Ended up at this location again, apprehensive about a repeat of the same slow service. We were the only ones in line being assisted by very friendly staff. Accommodating in that they gave us their opinion on what was popular. Food was delicious and plentiful, restroom was beyond what I expected. It was very well maintained and sanitary. The dining room was nearly empty so we had a choice of where we wanted to sit. All in all a good experience. read more

Love the food here. Been here 4 or 5 times so far but plan on coming back. Classic combo of meat, rice, veggies, and sauce. You can never have too much sauce read more

Shah halal food is amazing. The lamb gyro & hot chicken wings are so good! Omg the chicken wings are so crispy with the right amount of spice. The gyro are fulfilling and delicious!! Must try!! read more

I'm not familiar with eating gyros so I am excited that such an food establishment has opened here in Walpole. Staff were all very helpful explaining the menu. Chose to try their Koftka Gyro with their signature white sauce and 2 lines of hot sauce and all the fixings- chickpeas, lettuce, diced cucumbers, tomatoes and onions. The fusion of everything works so well together- texture of the wrap, the savory Koftka meat and the crunch the cucumbers. This is definitely a spot I will be frequenting. read more

Cheap food would never go there again .... Please don't go here they claim it's halal but it's not

Nice Ambiance! Excellent Food and Customer Service! The restaurant is very clean and the food tastes very good.

I have had similar food from the Food Trucks in New York City. Always have loved visiting NYC for this spread. Was so thrilled when I learned about the new restaurant in Walpole. The food was absolutely wonderful. We tried a few varieties and each one stood out with its own character. The owners and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely frequent this place. read more

I've eaten there three times and always had the chicken over rice . It's a good amount of food for the price and tasted good. The last two times I was in there though, I left without food. They seem severely understaffed and the one guy working the front counter had his hands full. I hope they are able to overcome their staffing issues . read more

Incomplete order and so-so food. The only nice thing is a fast delivery. Lamb kebab looks like made from ground meet.

Tried out this place for first time, apparently it's a chain...$10 for a filling gyro with long hours sounds good especially when I get out of work late. The lamb was very tender. Service was fast and friendly. Don't want to knock a star off, but the ambiance was a bit dull. Needs some music or TVs otherwise it was pretty quiet. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This man just told us we're wasting his time after I saw that the lamb and chicken had onions in it. I don't eat onions. My sister and I were trying to figure out if I could just pick them out and order it anyway and he told us we're wasting his time. The place is EMPTY. It is just our family here. He was angry that we were having difficulty picking an option out for the kids. Mind you, when we walked in, I informed him we were not ready to order and that I had never been here before so I'd like time to go over the menu. I don't appreciate being told I'm wasting time, in an empty restaurant, after I asked for time to even decide on what I wanted. Customer service obviously doesn't matter here. To make matters worse, I'm pregnant. I just wanted to find something for lunch. read more

AMAZING! Lovely people work here. It's a combination of different middle eastern foods and everything is delicious. The portions are large, the price is so great for what you get, and it's extremely fresh. The food is well seasoned. You can tell the folks who work here are very dedicated to serving good food and they are incredibly kind and patient to explain their cuisine to curious folks who are looking to try new things. Every time I eat inside I find myself smiling overhearing the pleasant interactions between staff and customers. I'll be stopping every time I come to this plaza! read more

Staff here is super friendly and helpful unlike most quick order places these days. The restaurant is very clean and you can tell they keep things clean and organized. As for the food I ordered a lamb gyro and the portion size was great for the price. The meat was extremely tender and everything tasted very fresh. Would highly recommend! read more

Really good food overall, fresh pita with flavorful falafel. They didn't have any garlicky sauce option. I love falafel with toum, but I guess that is more of a Lebanese style. read more

Need better staff some are very good and some can't handle the pressure of being busy was going here for about two months straight then the staff started to change been to the Long Island store a bunch of times because I'm always working in the area and to find out it's the same company I was so happy but they need better communication skills and happier staff read more

My workplace decided to host an intercultural dinner and Shah's Halal Walpole was an excellent choice as our meal provider. Ram was very communicative and made the catering process very simple. I stopped by to visit the Papa Gino's that used to be there! I was shocked to see an Islamic Halal food place instead! My old haunts are gone and a new world has taken shape, since I retired and moved away from the area... The place seemed very clean and brightly lit. Everything seemed new and modern. i am not really into Middle Eastern/Islamic food, so I passed on eating there. The other reviews seemed very positive but they are understaffed. I hope the do well in the community that the serve, will enjoy their cultural and cuisine experience in their own backyard. I affectionally refer to it as the "Allah Snack Bar"! (JUST KIDDING!) God, Bless them and all the best of luck with their new chain of "Ethnic Fast Food" places! read more

Super friendly staff ready to explain everything. We got a falafel platter and chicken platter. Starts with brown rice and chicken/falafel then you can pick additions, similar to Chipotle. Really good and fresh, plenty of food! It's one of the nice healthier choices in the area. read more
