If you are looking for an honest and thorough mechanic, please go to MaxCore! Even if this is not the closest auto shop to you, or near your neighborhood, this is the place to trust and feel well taken care of. I have to tell you what happened so you can understand how amazing these business owners are! I was driving with my 10y/o son north on the 17, in thick rush hour traffic, headed to Rock Springs. My truck quickly overheated, it notified me and the temp was all of a sudden at 255, then 259! I made my way over to the next exit, Indian School, while hurrying to call my husband so he could navigate me to somewhere that I could cool down and get help. He saw a gas station, then an auto shop not far off the interstate. I made it to the auto shop. My son and I walked in and were greeted by Laura. I explained what happened and asked if I was able to get what I needed. She said, "Let me get Rudy for you". We let the engine cool and ended up chatting with Laura the whole time. What a wonderful human! She was so warm and positive. She clicked with my son, she answered all of his questions and embraced his silliness. Our stress disappeared and we were enjoying our time! When my truck was cool enough, we all went out to investigate. Unfortunately, it was not just a coolant issue. Rudy saw the leaky hoses. He knew I shouldn't continue to drive north and risk a bigger problem happening on the hill. With the kiddo in tow, I took his advice. He put 50/50 coolant/water into my radiator, Laura hugged my son and I, and we drove home to Ahwatukee. I had given Laura my business card and she called me a little bit after we got home to make sure we were safe. We made new friends for life last night. Laura, you call me any time! I hope I can help you guys some day the way you and Rudy took such good care of my son and I. Thank you. There ARE wonderful people in this world.

Only person I trust, does good work, he's fast, honest mechanic, won't tell you you need something you don't, and has fair prices. I won't go anywhere else. Over the years, for this or that reason, moved towns, proximity to where my car broke down, etc. I've had the opportunity to get quotes for the same "issue" from multiple mechanics and Gil always tells you exactly what it is and doesn't conflate what's really going on just to upsell you or anything. I've gotten enough comparisons over the years to know Gil is the only one telling the truth. I'd rather drive 2 hours to Gil than 5 minutes to the nearest mechanic. Gil also doesn't charge more than is fair, and you won't find a fairer price. As nice as some shops with their little matching outfits are, know that they have to be able to afford all the glamor and extra salespeople up front somehow...

He kept repeating that he didn't talk to salesmen, even though I asked him a very simple question. Do you use epoxy glue? He yelled at me at the top of his lungs, "Get out!" He reminded me of Will Smith at the Oscars slapping Chris Rock. He physically rushed around the counter from behind the Covid plastic screen to try to start a fight with me. I couldn't believe it. Was this guy okay in the head? Why was he rushing towards me? In that moment, he actually verbally threatened me with physical violence and made me believe he was going to start a fight with me. Thank God there were no woman or children in the waiting room. I was near the door. "Should I run out of the shop?" I asked myself. I never said anything wrong and never once raised my voice. All I did was ask a simple question. I think said, "I was just asking you, if you used epoxy." When he saw I wasn't scared of him and that I was just calmly standing there, he stopped rushing towards me and started berating me. He was yelling at me at the top of his lungs. Please be kind. Kindness cost nothing. I let him know how his behavior made me feel and turned around and walked out of his shop. Then I drove around the corner and cried for ten minutes in my car thinking of how much I hated my job and my life. I am a sales man and it is difficult for me to make a living. It doesn't cost anything to be kind. But you will lose business by being rude. How many people think Will Smith was justified in slapping Chris Rock? Think about that Dave. Tell me, do your employees actually like you? Please respect sales people please. These are difficult times. During 20211, Covid has made if difficult for everyone. I am leaving this review because I have had to make money for myself by actually going out onto the streets and knocking on doors and and walking form company to company. You can rest easy that Aaron at Tri-City will honestly diagnose your auto issues, recommend any repairs or service (all at reasonable prices), and also let you know which of the repairs and service are urgent and which can wait - and if so, for how long. Most of us are justifiably terrified of taking our vehicles to the mechanics for fear of being ripped off, but Tri-City is honest and fair. I have ZERO reservations recommending these folks!

They have an after hours drop off- and are closed Saturday and Sunday. Nice waiting area with water available. Couple of stools and chairs. I would def recommend- quick and efficient turn around.
