You can play maybe an hour for $30. Always very crowded and employees are nowhere to be found if you have any issue. Just recharge your card at the charging station and go play because if you have questions or want to buy a package you'll have to wait 20 minutes at the front desk, lines are long and just two employees there. If you want to but eat and play go before 5:00 because the offer is just until 5. We went there at 6:00 pm thinking of having dinner and getting the offer and couldn't do it. Just bought food and cards separately, food for 4 and and cards for 2 was a total of 130. Kids played about an hour. read more

This is the worst bar experience I've ever had in my entire life! The bartenders are extremely rude, service is slower than anything I've ever seen. Trying to get a drink here is like waiting in purgatory, the staff is unprofessional, rude, and need training on how to deal with patrons. While at the bar I saw 5 separate people have issues with the bartenders, if I could give this place anything below a single star I would. Horribly run restaurant. Came here today and right off the bat it was horrible. Took us 10-15 minutes to get greeted after we sat. My girlfriend ordered a regular house margarita and they upcharged her for another shot without even asking. The kicker is she would've said yes if they just asked. Had to ask for silverware after our food already hit the table. Ordered the Mac & Cheese, the breadcrumbs weren't crispy at all. The texture was like sand. I had ordered a Philly cheesesteak and after being there an hour had to hunt down waitress to tell her I didn't receive my meal. Half hour later it came. I asked for a water at that time. Waitress never came back. Wife stayed behind to pay bill. When I came back one hour later after playing games with grandkids wife sat with coffee and no bill, no water for me. I wish I could give this zero points. My autistic son was upset and crying and the inhuman employee told us to leave while we were tying to get a prize with our points. He was incredibly obnoxious, rude and unsympathetic to our situation. I explained my son was autistic. He did not care or try to accommodate us in any way. I came into this Dave in buster with my family to have some game fun during this nice Saturday afternoon and while the kids were playing the games I decided to go sit by the bar to order myself some food and a drink until the kids are ready to eat. As I sit at the bar the bartender decided not to even notice I was sitting there mind you I am african American and he is Caucasian and the person he decided to give his undivided attention to was and Caucasian female. I still remain calm and continue to wait another gentleman I believe to be Indian, and he was explaining to me that he have been trying to get their attention as well to put in an order but no one would pay him any attention. After waiting for 10mins I asked another worker who was about to head to the floor to get me a manager. The manager came and listen to what I had to say and apologize but that was it. Just wanted to take a minute to tell our experience at Dave and Buster's in Wayne. We went there today, around 1:45, and planned to have lunch and have my six year old son play some games. We stopped at the restaurant first to see if there was a waiting list, and there was- 30-45 minutes. Okay - no problem! We put our name in and went to play some games. 40 minutes later or so, we got notice that our table was ready- great! We sat down in a pretty empty dining room except for maybe 6-8 other tables... We waited about 15 minutes before anyone even came to the table. By that time we had decided what we wanted to order, so we put our order in. It then took another 15 minutes for the waitress to come back with 2 iced teas and a glass of water. Then after another 10-15 minutes the waitress comes back and says, just so you know there is about a 45 minutes wait for food. With this, I asked to speak to a manager- waited 15 minutes more- no manager ever came!!!! Absolutely ridiculous, I have worked in the restaurant business, and this is totally unacceptable!! Wow where to start with this place. So many cons and no pros it is very sad especially for a brand new location. It is so disorganized in this place you dont even know where to go. I went with a party of 14 i had called days prior and was told call an hr before we wanted to go to see the wait time, well they couldnt give me a wait time over the phone. I ended up telling my whole party to meet me at 3, we get there and they said the wait was about 30 mins, great no problem so we went to play some games.... ended up bein an hr an a half before we even got a table and i needed high chairs and they told me the table was not made for high chairs and if i wanted them i had to go back on the wait list. They proceed to seat us but dont give us enough menus for everyone to look at. They try to rush you to order that some didnt even order drinks before she was taken food orders. She was a very shitty waitress all together so confused it was ridiculous. It took forever for food to come out and when it did there was problems with everyones meals. The food sucks big time in that place only thing that was good was my sons chicken nuggets an fries. U had to get up an find ketchup from another table. They had no sat no pepper no ketchup on the tables it was insane. Waitress took our order an you never saw her again after that. One of the kids in my party ordered fries and the fries finally came out after 45 mins and we were all done eatting and paying. The drinks were all watered down even the soda. I spoke to a manager and she only gave excuses told me she would help on the bill for the poor service an noone eatting which was bullshit she didnt comp anything it was sickening. This is only to go to play dont waste your time to eat go to NY or Palisades park instead. I tried them out cause they close to my house and it was my sons birthday. Overall bad expierence to this place and i will never return to this location ever again. Paid $350 an noone ate beside the kids so not worth the money food wise. read more

The Wayne location has many games that cheat their guests. The 2 Minute Drill football throwing game had only five balls in each side - while both Dave and Buster's recommended setting and the manufacturer recommended setting is for ten balls. Similarly, the Tailgate Toss game had only six bean bags while the Dave and Buster's recommended setting is for twelve bean bags and the manufacturer recommended setting is for twelve bean bags. Apparently this is the way it's been there for months and I was told they are unable to get more balls or bean bags which is absurd. The Kung Fu Panda game steals your gameplay without giving you the play every few times you play it. A Senior Tech there told me it happens every one out of a hundred times but I observed it happen frequently to other guests - about once every four times and people don't realize they are losing their money. This also had gone on for months there. When I got a bonus on the Kung Fu Panda game it only paid out 750 tickets instead of the 1000 tickets that the sign above the game states. When I questioned one of the techs, he said they are going to keep it this way. read more

I had such a horrible experience I need to elaborate on more on my experience. I waited over 4 hours for the pool table and I was told 2 groups were ahead of me. Meanwhile, two pool tables looked open all night. Also, we ordered a hamburger specifically without cheese and when the burger came it had cheese on it. When we explained to the servers that it was our friends 21st Birthday they looked at us and said "okay". Everything was very unsatisfactory and the games were not even worth playing. A complete waste of my time DO NOT COME HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT. I certainly will not be returning. If they made my friend feel special they don't realize I would've splurged more on drinks. If they were more timely I would've bought more food. If they were competent I would've enjoyed my experience. This was definitely the worst Dave and Buster's experience I've ever had. There's not much of a game selection, which is understandable because the game section is pretty small compared to others. But the worst part was trying to eat at this place. Firstly, the host stand is at such a weird spot, you have to walk past the dining area and bar to get to it. Once my boyfriend and I spotted it, we went over to ask for a table, yet there was no one there. We waited for about 5 minutes until someone came over and finally sat us. The place was basically empty on a Tuesday night, and yet we sat server-less for about 20 minutes. I had to walk back to the host stand, where I was passed by many servers and 2 managers, trying to get their attention but I was ignored. Finally someone says they will tell a server to come over. We noticed the same thing was happening to the surrounding tables, one couple even got up and left. When the server finally came we ordered right away, and a few minutes later the server came by to ask us what we ordered again. The food came pretty quickly but we were never checked on at all, I had to get up and go to the bar to get our waters refilled. The whole time we were seeing servers doing nothing, watching tv, talking to each other, basically anything but serving their tables. At the very end when we wanted to ask for the check, we tried to get the server to come over, he gave us the "hold on" signal, and continued his conversation. I usually love Dave and Buster's but now I know not to visit this location, at least until I can get better service. read more

I can't express how thankful we are to the staff at this establishment. Special thank you to Hal Faulkerson the amusement manager. While playing a basketball game my wife's engagement ring flew off. The staff and patrons helped us search for about an hour. Hal pulled apart the machine pulled it out and helped us search every inch near by these machines. In the end some kind soul had found it and placed it in lost and found. Thank you for doing this, as you know, it is not only a special piece of jewelry but a landmark for our relationship. Thank you to anyone else that took time out of their day to help us in our search, you have restored my faith in humanity. There are so many good people out there when times get tough. The food at this location was very good. We had 2 order mess ups out of 7. On one we asked for no cheese on the burger, but they add the cheese. And the other they made the totally wrong meal. They had no problem fixing it, al the workers were very kind and helpful. We had no problems with the games, and the prizes were fun and the store was very cute. Oh my god, do NOT go to eat here! It was by far the worst restaurant experience my boyfriend and I have ever had. Not only was the waiter completely experienced and kept making multiple mistakes with our order but the table was never set and he took forever to bring us anything. The food took so long to get and when we did get any it was brought out one at a time! The food was terrible and stale. The the staff was completely nasty and had a major attitude because we were interrupting them from their cellphones. After we received the food which had to be corrected multiple times we finally received the check. We were never asked if everything was ok. We had to basically chase the waiter down for anything. We didn't even get any silverware until I had to get up and ask the hostess to get us some. When the food finally did come, the busboy left it in front of our table where it got cold because nobody served it to us.
