If you must eat hear your should get on the wait list and just go play games while you wait your hour and a half or just eat at another location in the mall. We had our office holiday lunch here and it was the worst event I have ever attended. We had a small party but for some reason were seated in an enormous section of the restaurant, the food was cold and the condiments didn't come out until everyone was done eating - and we had to ask for them. Ones that come on their birthdays? Now let's discuss the head manager names Griffon. Griffon had brought out my food in which had to be prepared separately due to having food allergies. When he had brought the food out I saw something I was allergic to in the plate. I had instantly spoke up expressing that I was highly allergic to the food that was brought out and he then began to invalidate my allergy. He made a attempt to say that the oil my food was cooked it was "350 degrees and so hot it didn't matter shrimp was in the fryer". I have had these allergies my entire life and they are life threatening and to be told by someone who has NONE cross contamination "didn't matter" was utterly shocking and rather disgusting. If I were to be naive and had eaten that food I would have had a severe allergic reaction. this establishment Is careless, insensitive and wildly rude. We came with a large family group to celebrate my daughter's 10th birthday. We knew we wouldn't be able to sit together at a table, but the hostess made it possible that our group had a section where the group could still interact. Our server, Patricia, was phenomenal with making sure we were well taken care of. I thought with a large order it would be slow and we would be there for hours-but we got our food quick and hot! My daughter and her cousins were able to play and I felt safe letting them stay a while during covid. People wearing masks and keeping their distance, staff cleaning! First of all, me and my wife really enjoy the games at DB at Willowbrook. But recently we went and noticed that they added tables near the games and there were many alcohol drinks around. At every game we played, we had to remove alcohol cups and put them either on the floor or somewhere else. It seems they allow now alcohol drinks on the game area. It is becoming more of a gaming bar for drunks. I mean if you are going to allow alcohol on the gaming area, at least have the DB staff be on top of the drunks who leave their beer all over the place. And remove the alcoholic cups. It is very upsetting because we thought DB would be a family place. Not an alcoholic place to get your drink on. 2 stars. I would give only one star, but I'm trying to be nice. read more

Was very excited to finally get a Dave and Busters near my home. Went there and found a good selection of games and pretty good food. Everyone who worked there I found to be very pleasant and helpful. Two issues though: 1. Service in the food area is sloooooooowww. You see your waitress in the beginning to take your order, then she disappears for a long time, and you have to search all over the place to get anything else or to even get a check or to cash out. Maybe they need to hire more servers?? I saw my waitress serving at least 6 tables when I tried to get my check! This was at about 830 on a Wednesday night and there werent even that many people in the dining room. 2. Winners circle looks like the day after Christmas at any retail store. The shelves are barren, only a few of each prize, and not close to the amount of inventory in WoodBridge or Nyack. I dont know if they have a big run on prizes everyday or if they dont stock their shelves regularly but I have seen this sparsity on 2 separate times I've been there. I've been to this location 3 times already because I wanted to give them a few chances to see if this location would get better, but these same 2 issues are the same everytime I go. Think I'll give this place a miss and head to Woodbridge and Nyack instead. It's a shame. This location could have so much potential if they corrected a few things because of its location to NYC and all the major highways. read more

The "play" portion was nice. The "eat" part was a disaster! Very disappointing!!! My party of 12 waited to be seated for over 2 hours to be seated.... then waited an additional 2 hours to receive our cold food. Where do I start? I waited over an hr to get drinks! When the food came out it was cold and by that time it had already been almost 2 hrs from when we first sat down. Although I was a bit disappointed to find that their menu had VERY limited gluten-free options, I was very impressed by how they handled my request! Because there was a limited menu for me, I requested spicy rice and grilled vegetables. The waitress was super friendly and accommodating and after telling me that she wanted to double check with the kitchen, she came back and told me that they were more than happy to accommodate my request. The rest of my parties meals were served by the waitstaff but the manager came to personally deliver my meal because there was a dietary allergy... something they apparently take very seriously. The food was great...fresh & tasy & served quickly. The gaming room was very clean and there are multiple units of the more popular games so there's not too much waiting (we were here on a weekday, so weekends are probably much busier!) Best of all...EVERY employee we encountered; from the hostess, to the waitress, manager, game attendants...were friendly and accommodating. Very impressed & we'll definitely return! read more

I went to D & B in Wayne for the first time. First there are too many stairs to walk up. Clearly D & B is a bigger version of chuck e cheese. Too many kids running around all over the place & at times unsupervised. I guess D & B is no longer for adults. This Dave & Buster has a Major issue that they need to take a look at. There is a woman (with very long fingernails) who works at the front counter where you purchase your card. She has ZERO people skills whatsoever. She does not smile or show any sign of engagement. She never says "Hi." or "Can I help you?" She just stands there and waits for you to begin the transaction. After signing my credit card receipt, she doesn't say "Thank you." or "Have a nice day." She literally does not say a word. This is VERY unfortunate being that she is the first employee that most people come into contact with after getting off of the elevator or walking up the stairs. I have had the displeasure of dealing with her at least two times. On today's visit, I asked to speak to a manager and told him about this issue. He says he would talk to her and coach her. Upon leaving, I saw the woman again and she still looked miserable. I felt sorry for Dave and Buster because this woman is the first person and the last person a customer sees when visiting them. I will give this a three star for two visits. My first was a Sunday morning. Fantastic! All games worked and I pretty much had the pick of anything I wanted to play. One week later I go on a Saturday night. It was so crowded!!!! Three hour wait for a table. Three deep for the bar. Hard to get a drink as bar tenders did the best they could but I seen faster movers. I was lucky and a table top opened up as I was waiting for my drink and my group sat right down. A nice waiter came up and took our order the appetizer came out cold. How long was this sitting? Then everyone got there food except me. I waited and waited. Then I find out my food went to another table. So as my group finished their food my food finally came out took about an hour to get it. I did ask for a drink to be comped and he did. Two stars because this place just opened. They NEED more bar tenders. The games were really crowded which I think would be less annoying if you were able to get a drink. Takes at least 20 minutes of standing at the bar flagging someone down to get a drink then another 10 for them to actually make It. We put our name in for a table when we first got there and the service there was no better. Meals were forgotten and the waiter was confused by our orders, he didn't even know what beers were on tap. I love Dave and busters because they have great service and really enjoyable food the food I had was called golden fingers which was basically just chicken tenders and fries with this enjoyable sauce that was honey mustard. Stay away from this place. Seriously. Go to any other D&B location if you can. First, the food. I ordered a steak salad. My wife got a cheese steak. We ordered the giant appetizer (Fives All Around or something like that) to split with our party. The tater tots on the appetizer were cold, not even lukewarm. My steak salad was awful; the lettuce was wilted, the steak was lukewarm, tough, and overcooked, and the entire thing was drowned in very heavy amounts of dressing. My wife's cheese steak meat was overcooked and burnt. I'd give them a 2/5 for quality. Second, the service. At one point our waitress refilled two drinks but immediately ran off before anyone else could request a refill. A manager came over and politely asked if the table needed anything, and my mother-in-law requested another beer. The manager said she would have it sent right over. Before it came back, the waitress came over and asked if she wanted another beer. She told the waitress that the manager already went to get one, and the waitress said the manager can't add it to the tab so she would have to go do it herself and would be right back. A few minutes later, not one but two replacement beers arrived, and we of course had to pay for the staff's mix-up. Also, the staff at the front desk were incredibly rude. D&B was running a promotion for Make-A-Wish: donate $1, pay another $10, and get $20 worth of game time. The promo ended 6/24, which is the day we went. We asked the staff if we could do the promo and they told us the promo already ended. They asked if we had the coupon (for what? It's a promo advertised in the restaurant lobby). We pointed to the standee advertising the promo a few feet away and noted that it was still running. They immediately became grumpy and refused to talk to us during the rest of the transaction; how dare customers inconvenience them by asking them to do their jobs? The employees who wander the floor clearly don't know anything about the hardware. While we were playing the Aliens Armageddon game, one employee yelled at us for rapidly squeezing the trigger instead of holding it down. "Yo, it's automatic. You'll break it," he chided in a patronizing tone. "The shotgun power-up is semi-auto," we replied. "Oh, you're using the shotgun. Fine," he mumbled before walking away. On the positive side, the selection of games is decent and it's quite possible to have fun if you don't have to interact with any employees. If you're there to just play games, use the kiosks when possible; otherwise, go to Palisades Mall in West Nyack and save yourself a headache. read more

I heard Dave & Busters wasn't that good, but had to experience it for myself. They serve water down drinks, my waiter took long to take our order and still messed up my order. After messing up my order the waiter never returned to the table until it was time to pay for our meal. This Dave & Buster experience is more for the middle school students and their parents. Also, 1. they fail to accommodate special diet request. 2. the staff had trouble maintaining and cleaning up unoccupied tables for new customers. read more

Awesome time! I recently had my sister and husband's surprise 40th birthday party at Dave and Buster's! Everyone had a great time! We had a private room and I paid $100 extra to have a bar in the room, which was so convenient. The packages are very reasonable, the food was delicious, and the party manager was constantly checking in to make sure we were satisfied! I ended up going with the tailgate package and churro station.... Soo good!! My mouth is watering thinking about them! There are so many games to play and who doesn't love to play games! I would absolutely have another party at Dave and Buster's! And I will absolutely be there again just to have some fun!! read more

I was skeptical at first because of all the negative reviews I've seen! I went here with 15 friends for a birthday. We put our name on the wait list and went to play games while we were waiting. It was a lot of fun!! By the time we were getting tired and hungry we got seated! It took about an hour but it's a Saturday night so don't expect to be seated right away! First time at Dave & Buster's and I must say I was not impressed. Our sever was really kind and the kids enjoyed the games. However the food was cold, and over cooked . I mean how can your bring out the appetizers and the queso was cold . Then the quesadilla was so over cooked and crispy.The chicken fingers where so dry and hard even the kids mention how hard it was. The food is overpriced . Listen, the place is new... they hired "X" amount of people to work so they can at least get started and on their feet. The service was GARBAGE... complete garbage, but they are trying. I know management is trying to work things out. When we arrived we waited 1 hour for our table, once we got to our table we were greeted by our waitress (who had no idea what she was doing). Some of our food was missing stuff but overall the food was good. so to conclude, SERVICE GARBAGE... everything else was good. DRINKS ARE AMAZING. read more
