If you plan to bring your kids here make sure you bring lots of money! 387 tokens cost you $56 ( one game is about 6-13 points each time you play) go figure! After spending $200 just on the games for 2 children I needed a drink, $11 for a cocktail... no prices on the drink or food menu! Bar tenders- bad attitude Waiter- bad attitude read more

Id like to start out by saying that the expectation for a Dave and Buster's nowadays isn't high. When my partner and I heard of there bar opening we decided to give it a shot, because my sisters in law and her friends went and had a good experience. our visit started with Casey, super cool dude, then was taken over by the female bartender Nadia. Those two are a cool team to have behind the bar, we spent the whole time laughing and drinking amazing Henny Strawberries!!!!! Thanks Dave n busters, your bartenders made our experience one we'll share. read more

Was invited to a company Xmas event. The waitress that was serving us was friendly but not very quick and got some of the orders wrong. The food took forever and by the time we got it was barely warm. I ordered grilled salmon, it was dry, over cooked and didn't taste very good. Most of my coworkers didn't finish their plates. They said the food was either too salty, had no taste or just wasn't very good. It was very disappointing especially when the check came close to $200 and everyone was still hungry. We ended up eating at Cheesecake Factory which cost us less. I feel sorry for our boss who paid for everything he was really looking forward to a great experience at your place. The games were okay just so overpriced. The place was crowded and the bathroom was kinda messy. It could have been cleaner much much cleaner if u know what I mean. My coworkers and I wanted to know you put in so much money building the place wouldn't it have made sense to put in escalators instead of steps.??? Or have more elevators?? The steps are a safety hazard especially for elders and kids. I saw kids sliding down the rails. If someone ever slips or falls on those steps there is a major lawsuit there. I just don't understand why would you want customers to climb up and down those steps. It doesn't make any sense to save money???? Also didn't it make sense to have a mall entrance into the arcade besides having just the outside entrance. What if there is a fire do you expect everyone to run down all those steps?? Geesh, who was the genius that designed this place?? Didn't this person have any common sense?? Think about it isn't escalators much more safer than steps?? Like duh LOL read more

I read the reviews AFTER coming here, everything people have said has been pretty spot on. Waited at the restaurant here for 40 minutes after asking bartenders and waiters consistently if anyone could attend us. Our waiter was Tanisha, and may the lord save her because she's the WORST waitress on the face of this planet. Not sure how she go hired here, but thats another story. Anyway, It took her 25 minutes to bring us our waters and they still forgot to bring one. We waited 40 more minutes for our food and got half of it - ordered steak nachos, we got COLD CHICKEN nachos. We didnt even have utensils so we all ate with our hands. 15 minutes later, we were halfway done with our food and asked for utensils and ended up getting them when we were all done with our meals. Not sure how Tanisha thought the rest of my family was going to eat their food which was not exactly finger food, even some napkins would've been appreciated but we got nothing. Ended up speaking to the manager, got some lousy coupons that we have to purchase $20 worth of chips/tokens in order to redeem it. Never coming here again and don't recommend this place to anyone unless you like trashy service, cold food, and eating everything with your hands. read more

Love the location, friendly staff but eating here was awful. I've seen glaciers move faster than their servers. It took over an hour for 4 people to get their food & we only ordered apps to share... Asked for no bacon on one and it came with bacon and never got one of the drinks. Took about 20 more mins for the server to come back and gave us severe attitude about it. read more

Ok so yes it's Dave and Busters. But I have to say we were there with a large party of adults and children-Probably 15-20 adults and 10 kids-On a Saturday. During winter break. The place was mobbed. But we had a booth in the bar area. My only complaints are about cocktails we ordered--but shame on us for ordering something more fancy than a beer or a vodka soda (or the adult snow cone which is always yummy). The food was good. But what singles this experience out for me was the service we received. We were greeted immediately by Murph, one of the managers I believe. He was so friendly and made sure we had enough space etc. (not s formal party just a big group of friends celebrating a bday). Our server, Rome was amazing. In a FULL bar he was by the table every 10-20 minutes or so to see if anyone needed anything. The food came out promptly. The kids meals Were great. I've honestly had worse food in an "upscale" bar and grill type place. It was all good and hot and not sitting under lights forever before getting to the table. I couldn't be more surprised by our experience here this weekend! read more

Our 30 minute wait turned into an hour and a half. If you must eat hear your should get on the wait list and just go play games while you wait your hour and a half or just eat at another location in the mall. They for got to put the cheese on my sliders now waiting an additional outrageous amount of time. I'm going to ask for my check and leave with out the sliders. I was just told he can't split our check. It is to hard for the waiter. read more

We had our office holiday lunch here and it was the worst event I have ever attended. We had a small party but for some reason were seated in an enormous section of the restaurant, the food was cold and the condiments didn't come out until everyone was done eating - and we had to ask for them. Everything was awful, the food , the service, the environment - I don't know how they stay in business. HORRIBLE read more

What's expected, great good, drinks & games. I would suggest having patience with staff cuz they r being still getting in the groove of things. Oh and they have a pump it up machine, no DDR or ITG read more

I had philly cheesesteak and its alright. Nothing too great. The service sucks. It's a long wait.. it takes like 30 min. Wait

if you're looking for a terrible birthday experience i would HIGHLY suggest coming here. if by any other chance you are looking for your food allergies to be invalidated by the "senior manager " I would also suggest this place. My party and I ordered and all of our dished came out more than 10 minutes apart. When my party had request that we have all our dishes at the same time the food runner shook her head inappropriately and said "no way", this blew me away. This is how you treat customers? Ones that come on their birthdays? Now let's discuss the head manager names Griffon. Griffon had brought out my food in which had to be prepared separately due to having food allergies. When he had brought the food out I saw something I was allergic to in the plate. I had instantly spoke up expressing that I was highly allergic to the food that was brought out and he then began to invalidate my allergy. He made a attempt to say that the oil my food was cooked it was "350 degrees and so hot it didn't matter shrimp was in the fryer". I have had these allergies my entire life and they are life threatening and to be told by someone who has NONE cross contamination "didn't matter" was utterly shocking and rather disgusting. If I were to be naive and had eaten that food I would have had a severe allergic reaction. this establishment Is careless, insensitive and wildly rude. I will be contacting corporate for the safety of other people who allergies who come here. Do NOT come here. read more

We came with a large family group to celebrate my daughter's 10th birthday. We knew we wouldn't be able to sit together at a table, but the hostess made it possible that our group had a section where the group could still interact. Our server, Patricia, was phenomenal with making sure we were well taken care of. I thought with a large order it would be slow and we would be there for hours-but we got our food quick and hot! My daughter and her cousins were able to play and I felt safe letting them stay a while during covid. People wearing masks and keeping their distance, staff cleaning! Also large bottles of hand sanitizer throughout! read more

The place is always a great time however the service stinks. All of the servers and hosts have an attitude and are the furthest thing from attentive. Ordered two drinks by the bar and they tasted like lemonade. When we asked the server to add a little more alcohol he simply said it's not possible. Last time I checked... I was paying. read more

First of all, me and my wife really enjoy the games at DB at Willowbrook. But recently we went and noticed that they added tables near the games and there were many alcohol drinks around. At every game we played, we had to remove alcohol cups and put them either on the floor or somewhere else. It seems they allow now alcohol drinks on the game area. It is becoming more of a gaming bar for drunks. I mean if you are going to allow alcohol on the gaming area, at least have the DB staff be on top of the drunks who leave their beer all over the place. And remove the alcoholic cups. It is very upsetting because we thought DB would be a family place. Not an alcoholic place to get your drink on. 2 stars. I would give only one star, but I'm trying to be nice. read more

Was sat down by a waiter on arrival and then rude hostess came and told us to get out only because there is a wait. If there is a waiting list don't let the waiters or anyone sit you down with a menu on hand ready to order. Then the manager came and told us get up there are people waiting Never going back. read more

I complained to one of the people about one of the machines scamming me out of 1000 tickets (the spin machine or whatever) but the guy made me sound like I was lying saying "there was no way to prove it", and only gave me two more tries on the machine in which I only got ten and fourth on so the service was terrible but the rest of the games are fine read more

Was very excited to finally get a Dave and Busters near my home. Went there and found a good selection of games and pretty good food. Everyone who worked there I found to be very pleasant and helpful. Two issues though: 1. Service in the food area is sloooooooowww. You see your waitress in the beginning to take your order, then she disappears for a long time, and you have to search all over the place to get anything else or to even get a check or to cash out. Maybe they need to hire more servers?? I saw my waitress serving at least 6 tables when I tried to get my check! This was at about 830 on a Wednesday night and there werent even that many people in the dining room. 2. Winners circle looks like the day after Christmas at any retail store. The shelves are barren, only a few of each prize, and not close to the amount of inventory in WoodBridge or Nyack. I dont know if they have a big run on prizes everyday or if they dont stock their shelves regularly but I have seen this sparsity on 2 separate times I've been there. I've been to this location 3 times already because I wanted to give them a few chances to see if this location would get better, but these same 2 issues are the same everytime I go. Think I'll give this place a miss and head to Woodbridge and Nyack instead. It's a shame. This location could have so much potential if they corrected a few things because of its location to NYC and all the major highways. read more

The "play" portion was nice. The "eat" part was a disaster! Very disappointing!!! My party of 12 waited to be seated for over 2 hours to be seated.... then waited an additional 2 hours to receive our cold food. Usually I'm a patient person however to wait nearly four hours to eat is unacceptable. The manager claimed that he wanted to "help us out" by discounting the food. He only gave us 10% off of our food...10% barely covered one drink. read more

Two stars because this place just opened. They NEED more bar tenders. The games were really crowded which I think would be less annoying if you were able to get a drink. Takes at least 20 minutes of standing at the bar flagging someone down to get a drink then another 10 for them to actually make It. We put our name in for a table when we first got there and the service there was no better. Meals were forgotten and the waiter was confused by our orders, he didn't even know what beers were on tap. Fun place with a good concept but It needs more staff and more organization if It is going to survive. read more

Although I was a bit disappointed to find that their menu had VERY limited gluten-free options, I was very impressed by how they handled my request! Because there was a limited menu for me, I requested spicy rice and grilled vegetables. The waitress was super friendly and accommodating and after telling me that she wanted to double check with the kitchen, she came back and told me that they were more than happy to accommodate my request. The rest of my parties meals were served by the waitstaff but the manager came to personally deliver my meal because there was a dietary allergy... something they apparently take very seriously. The food was great...fresh & tasy & served quickly. The gaming room was very clean and there are multiple units of the more popular games so there's not too much waiting (we were here on a weekday, so weekends are probably much busier!) Best of all...EVERY employee we encountered; from the hostess, to the waitress, manager, game attendants...were friendly and accommodating. Very impressed & we'll definitely return! read more

I can't remember the last time I was so unhappy with a restaurant. The arcade side of the story is ok nothing out of this world but the service at the restaurant and the food was just bad! Where do I start? I waited over an hr to get drinks! When the food came out it was cold and by that time it had already been almost 2 hrs from when we first sat down. The drinks were sour and not very good at all! My thing is customer service is key here. It's like they really are not set up for success. Not enough waiters and waitresses. Not enough bar tenders. I'll never go here again. You don't get a good vibe from this spot at all. The Dave and Busters in Ny is way better!!! read more

Food is good. Place is nice. Service is horrible. Not worth the aggravation. I think the waitresses are also cooking in the kitchen. Service is slow and unresponsive. The staff here need more training and better management. read more

I went to D & B in Wayne for the first time. First there are too many stairs to walk up. Clearly D & B is a bigger version of chuck e cheese. Too many kids running around all over the place & at times unsupervised. I guess D & B is no longer for adults. Then the worker seemed confused and I only asked a question about the 60 chips for $12. read more

Ive been there a couple times and every time its great. There games and food is awesome and I like coming here glad its closer. Its really funny seeing people giving one star because of minor issues. How bout applying to the job, and see how easy it is to walk in there shoes. read more

This Dave & Buster has a Major issue that they need to take a look at. There is a woman (with very long fingernails) who works at the front counter where you purchase your card. She has ZERO people skills whatsoever. She does not smile or show any sign of engagement. She never says "Hi." or "Can I help you?" She just stands there and waits for you to begin the transaction. After signing my credit card receipt, she doesn't say "Thank you." or "Have a nice day." She literally does not say a word. This is VERY unfortunate being that she is the first employee that most people come into contact with after getting off of the elevator or walking up the stairs. I have had the displeasure of dealing with her at least two times. On today's visit, I asked to speak to a manager and told him about this issue. He says he would talk to her and coach her. Upon leaving, I saw the woman again and she still looked miserable. I felt sorry for Dave and Buster because this woman is the first person and the last person a customer sees when visiting them. I would be embarrassed to have her as part of my team. read more

I will give this a three star for two visits. My first was a Sunday morning. Fantastic! All games worked and I pretty much had the pick of anything I wanted to play. One week later I go on a Saturday night. It was so crowded!!!! Three hour wait for a table. Three deep for the bar. Hard to get a drink as bar tenders did the best they could but I seen faster movers. I was lucky and a table top opened up as I was waiting for my drink and my group sat right down. A nice waiter came up and took our order the appetizer came out cold. How long was this sitting? Then everyone got there food except me. I waited and waited. Then I find out my food went to another table. So as my group finished their food my food finally came out took about an hour to get it. I did ask for a drink to be comped and he did. Too bad I had to ask. Come here when it opens. Complete chaos at night read more

I love Dave and busters because they have great service and really enjoyable food the food I had was called golden fingers which was basically just chicken tenders and fries with this enjoyable sauce that was honey mustard. And it was a wonderful location because then I could go right to playing games after my meal. TOTALLY RECOMMEND read more

Stay away from this place. Seriously. Go to any other D&B location if you can. First, the food. I ordered a steak salad. My wife got a cheese steak. We ordered the giant appetizer (Fives All Around or something like that) to split with our party. The tater tots on the appetizer were cold, not even lukewarm. My steak salad was awful; the lettuce was wilted, the steak was lukewarm, tough, and overcooked, and the entire thing was drowned in very heavy amounts of dressing. My wife's cheese steak meat was overcooked and burnt. I'd give them a 2/5 for quality. Second, the service. At one point our waitress refilled two drinks but immediately ran off before anyone else could request a refill. A manager came over and politely asked if the table needed anything, and my mother-in-law requested another beer. The manager said she would have it sent right over. Before it came back, the waitress came over and asked if she wanted another beer. She told the waitress that the manager already went to get one, and the waitress said the manager can't add it to the tab so she would have to go do it herself and would be right back. A few minutes later, not one but two replacement beers arrived, and we of course had to pay for the staff's mix-up. Also, the staff at the front desk were incredibly rude. D&B was running a promotion for Make-A-Wish: donate $1, pay another $10, and get $20 worth of game time. The promo ended 6/24, which is the day we went. We asked the staff if we could do the promo and they told us the promo already ended. They asked if we had the coupon (for what? It's a promo advertised in the restaurant lobby). We pointed to the standee advertising the promo a few feet away and noted that it was still running. They immediately became grumpy and refused to talk to us during the rest of the transaction; how dare customers inconvenience them by asking them to do their jobs? The employees who wander the floor clearly don't know anything about the hardware. While we were playing the Aliens Armageddon game, one employee yelled at us for rapidly squeezing the trigger instead of holding it down. "Yo, it's automatic. You'll break it," he chided in a patronizing tone. "The shotgun power-up is semi-auto," we replied. "Oh, you're using the shotgun. Fine," he mumbled before walking away. On the positive side, the selection of games is decent and it's quite possible to have fun if you don't have to interact with any employees. If you're there to just play games, use the kiosks when possible; otherwise, go to Palisades Mall in West Nyack and save yourself a headache. read more

I heard Dave & Busters wasn't that good, but had to experience it for myself. They serve water down drinks, my waiter took long to take our order and still messed up my order. After messing up my order the waiter never returned to the table until it was time to pay for our meal. This Dave & Buster experience is more for the middle school students and their parents. Also, 1. they fail to accommodate special diet request. 2. the staff had trouble maintaining and cleaning up unoccupied tables for new customers. read more

Was waiting for 45 minuets before we even got our orders the waitress was very rude I would say maybe they were understaffed except all the employees were talking to each other took an hour and a half to get the food and another 30 minuets for a chocolate fondue that came cold would really only go for the games read more

Awesome time! I recently had my sister and husband's surprise 40th birthday party at Dave and Buster's! Everyone had a great time! We had a private room and I paid $100 extra to have a bar in the room, which was so convenient. The packages are very reasonable, the food was delicious, and the party manager was constantly checking in to make sure we were satisfied! I ended up going with the tailgate package and churro station.... Soo good!! My mouth is watering thinking about them! There are so many games to play and who doesn't love to play games! I would absolutely have another party at Dave and Buster's! And I will absolutely be there again just to have some fun!! read more

I was skeptical at first because of all the negative reviews I've seen! I went here with 15 friends for a birthday. We put our name on the wait list and went to play games while we were waiting. It was a lot of fun!! By the time we were getting tired and hungry we got seated! It took about an hour but it's a Saturday night so don't expect to be seated right away! The food was delicious, the drinks were good, and the service was great as well. It was a good time overall! read more

Listen, the place is new... they hired "X" amount of people to work so they can at least get started and on their feet. The service was GARBAGE... complete garbage, but they are trying. I know management is trying to work things out. When we arrived we waited 1 hour for our table, once we got to our table we were greeted by our waitress (who had no idea what she was doing). Some of our food was missing stuff but overall the food was good. so to conclude, SERVICE GARBAGE... everything else was good. DRINKS ARE AMAZING. read more
