Our server Chris was absolutely amazing. Funny, knowledgeable, hospitable to both child and adult... Not easy... Not because of the child but because of me lol. So my boyfriend and I came into the new Dave and Buster's location at Willowbrook. Such a disappoint to see that the bad customer service seems to have followed the chain (have gone to the palisades mall ny location). We went to eat, food was not bad, not badly priced either but the waiter did not seem to be able to multi task got a teeny bit short when I started telling my order because I saw boyfriend close his menu. Kept forgetting our refills on beer (we had two, probably would have spent more time and gotten more beer if he didn't keep forgetting us) we had asked to have my boyfriends food wrapped. Found out he didn't when I asked to have my food wrapped and never brought back my boyfriend's food. Then the waiter tried to ask me behind my boyfriend if I wanted a birthday cake for my boyfriend (which if he would have read our id's would have seen it is not either one of our birthdays). Then the lady up front at the register, once again I have an issue with the cards and my app (it matched the card I have on hand). She said she needs me to figure out my password or there is nothing she can do. She easily could have suggested to try the forgotten password link. Instead she did not offer a solution and shoo'd me off like I was imposing on her day. What was supposed to be a fun day off/day out was just ruined by a lack of caring and consideration to customers. So with the understanding that this location is BRAND SPANKING NEW and that there will be some growing pains I love this Dave and Busters. My fiance and I went on Valentine's day when they opened and it wasn't smooth sailing. Some of the machines had a few hiccups and transferring our power cards over didn't work because they had system issues (our cards were issued in texas). But the staff were so helpful and friendly and we were patient with them too as thus was the first time they worked with live customers. We went back today and the kinks were worked out for the most part however the staff was still as helpful and friendly as on day 1. This is a smaller Dave and Busters than most but has most of the basic games you can expect. I'm hoping they will be able to expand in a few years but until then I'm still grateful for this location as it's only a few minutes from home for us. read more

Not a fan of how much smaller the place is. The food wasn't that great either. the salmon tasted a bit dry and it was a bit charred on the outside. My girlfriend and I had ordered an appetizer and that hadn't come out. In fact, our meals came out first and the appetizer was literally behind it. While, my girlfriend and I were a bit thrown off by it, the manager came by, per our request, and vindicated the whole situation; she took the app off our bill. All in all, we'll go back for both. John John, Angel and Matt were great servers, balancing customer service and complicated beverage orders with ease. This team was respectful & helpful to all of the attendees. This is my second time at this Dave and busters and I will not be returning. I ordered nachos and never received them I waited patiently for them and had to get up and tell someone that I never received my food. I was then told that it was thrown away by the cooks, the manager said he would refund me my money within 24 hours. The alcoholic beverages are also very weak and I tasted nothing but juice, they don't supply napkins with the food or utensils read more

Very overpriced on both the food and entertainment but it's expected, food dining and table service was decent we were there before the evening rush so we didn't have to wait long for our food, dont expect amazing food here ok? But if you have kids they absolutely love it here, my big complaint here is they don't have the "tickets" anymore that physically come out of each arcade machine when you win... I haven't been to a Dave and Busters in 7 years so I guess this is new, so now instead the "points" will get added to your dave and busters card when you swipe it to play the game, now I don't know about you but if I'm a child watching those tickets come out of the machine like that you'd get very happy and jump for joy it's just not the same visual stimulation having it automatically get added to the card but that's just me, I guess they don't want to count tickets anymore hah, we had our niece with us her first time there and she had a great time so it was well worth it in the end! read more

So I thought it was only fair that I updated my review. After contacting main office and leaving a message. Elizabeth from the main office reached out to me. She was so wonderful and understood my frustration. She went above and beyond to help me. After speaking to her, she called back with great news. The staff did find my glasses. It wasn't about the glasses but more so the lack of professionalism I received from someone who is in a management position. I may not return to this location but I do thank Elizabeth for making me feel appreciated as a customer. As for this location, it is very clean and the games kept my 4 year old daughter and her bestfriend entertained. We did have a lot of fun for a great price. read more

Horrible, disorganized and unprofessional! I came here this weekend to have a few drinks for a friend who's birthday had passed. The bar scene is crazy and you have to wait sometimes like 10 minutes to get a bartenders attention, the drinks were pretty good and not to expensive so I will give them that. The food is DISGUSTING and over salted, I would say save your money, the local McDonald's down the road probably has better quality. The real kicker is how unprofessional the staff is. The front desk (where you purchase your game cards), was very busy and the employees were talking and joking with each other and looked annoyed every time a new person approached them. I dropped my credit card and didn't not find it, although I called to freeze the card I reached out to D&B to see if it was possibly found or turned in after I left. During the three calls that I have made to this business I have yet to speak to someone about my card as I get placed on hold for over 25 minutes and then my call gets transferred to a voicemail. When I complained about this I was told there was nothing they could do about it and was quickly transferred again to a nameless voicemail. How is this possible?? Who ever is running this sinking ship needs to really take a look at what is going on here. read more

We go to a lot of different Dave and Busters and understand that sometimes games don't work. That's life. But this particular location had a number of malfunctioning games that ate credits, did not award won points, or didn't function at all. At one point we lost 20 credits on a game and asked for help. The worker was happy to let us play the game again, but I noticed that even though they said the credits were complimentary, they were still coming off our card. When I mentioned that, the worker argued with me (not with an attitude, they were actually very nice, but they just kept assuring me the points were complimentary and DIDN'T come off our card, even though I'd watched the points being removed with my own eyes and later when we went to play more games we were 20 credits down). D&B is already on the expensive side. For games not to work and to lose credits like that is really frustrating. We probably won't visit this particular location again. read more

This place just opened and I would recommend that nobody ever risk going there.... let me explain with a story. Today which is September 28, 2018 I went to Dave and busters with my fiancé and my younger brother and a friend. Purchase tokens played a few arcade games and at one point I started a tab which I had to hand in my debit card for just like other establishments. Towards the end of the night a bartender by the name of " Karon" ... aka @ the lion king , closed out my tab for me. After a few minutes I waved him down and asked if he had gotten my debit card back. He insisted that he had already given it to my brother which there would've been no reason for him to know that he was my brother. Regardless that was not true, The bartender gave my debit card with my personal information away to a random stranger. After approaching him about the situation I got little to no response and just a frantic bartender searching around. After the bartender disappeared for 10 minutes my level of anxiety through the roof at this point, Play manager finally appeared back with him. Manager tells me that the story I told him was false and that his employee told him that he handed it to my brother who has the card... where for calling me a liar after giving my personal debit card away to a random stranger. I was told time after time to explain the situation which there was no further explaining to do the manager acted as though there was more to my story and I was lying. After no further progress and blank stares from management and the employee I was told it's better to leave the establishment by one of the bouncers.... say that I will never return to this establishment is an understatement. Not only do I have to cancel my debit card and go through the aggravation of getting a new one and checking into everything that my card was linked to. I have to worry about my identity being stolen.. all the while all I was looking for was an apology. Even after telling the manager that I understand that things happen the bartender insisted on telling me that he will fuses to speak to me and that I am a liar... Play at your own risk read more

A few friends and I went in to Dave and Buster's for a pre-holiday get together. What a great time!! We ate, we drank, we laughed. Service was on par. Staff was friendly. I never heard back from Dave & Buster's corporate. They just add this blanket statement on your bad review, but do nothing happens and they do nothing to resolve your issues. Completely unacceptable. My fitness and I found this dirty plate among the stack of plates given to us before our food arrived at out table. When we pointed it out to our server, she just shrugged it off and said she'd get rid of it but never did. This happened to me in November, but I'm still so aggravated six months later that I'm writing this now. It was my son's sixth birthday and he asked to go to D&B for dinner. We waited a half hour and were seated by a six foot tall TV showing an extremely bloody MMA fight. (This was at 6 pm) Forty minutes after we ordered they brought our food, but forgot my son's food. They never put in his order. He's six and it's his birthday, which the server was aware of. So they put the order in (still wrong - they forgot French fries) and we finally got it. By this time he was so hungry he wanted to leave. Then they bring the check, telling me they made his meal free, when in fact they overcharged me for his meal and for other items as well. When I got up (because the server disappeared) to tell the server, he got huffy with me "well you didn't pay it yet right? So I'll just fix it." This is literally the worst service I have encountered in about 10 years of dining out at least weekly. I will never ever ever ever ever go again. Went there this past Saturday. The wait was over 1 and 1/2 hrs to sit for dinner. They wouldn't take reservations no matter what size of the party before you get there. We put our name in-- waited-- checked periodically and guess what after waiting 40 minutes...the wait was still 1 and 1/2 hrs. They really need better management, servers, bussers and customer service for a new business. There were at least 15 visible tables-- some clean, some not cleaned, some even with just peoples stuff (no food, no people- just left their stuff to play games). We started of at 7pm playing the waiting game-- did not get seated until 9pm, did not get our drinks until 9:42pm, did not get our meals until 10:15pm. Wait -staff were unprofessional, as well as managment. One manager came by "everything good here" -- we were all exhausted and starving... but we said "we're fine"...she was like " WOW REALLY? Thats a surprise" made a face and walked away. It was so awkward. Wait staff are poorly trained we needed an extra chair at our table... you would think we asked for the world. A wait staff threw the silverware down on the table in a pile and sighed because we needed an extra chair. "I dont know where imma get a chair from?" Hmm..maybe the handful of empty tables behind us? The food was absolutely disgusting-- the salad I got was inedible, it was wilted and gross. My friends caesar salad tasted like the dressing was mayo, not caeser dressing. I have to say walking around was gross, I hope they wipe down and sanitize the games at some point. Not sure if/when i'll go back-- I almost would rather drive to the NY location its better run, clean, and the food is edible. read more

This is like your typical Dave and busters awesome place to be with drinks, arcade games and food there so many specials if you sign up and register your power card. Ended up coming on a Thursday night super chill bartenders are super cool, food was good & the variety of games was awesome, unfortunately the bathrooms that night were so disgusting looks like people were just throwing toilet paper and letting them get clogged and not one employee addressed the issue, to be expected when you use public restrooms. Other than that this place is super updated super new and clean good place to be and chill have a drink and play some games! read more
