This was the first time we used Dash Pest Control, and they are fantastic! When I first called, I spoke with Ben, who explained the service in a friendly, clear and concise way. I felt no pressure to sign up immediately, but after talking with him I decided to make an appointment for the service. We had a terrible time with invasive ants and spiders, and I was hopeful they could help us. Christian did a great job! He wiped down the whole house for spider/cobwebs and then sprayed outside, the perimeter of the house and garage. He came right on time. He let us know when he was here and when he was leaving, and asked if there was anything else we needed. It's been several days now and we have seen only a couple of ants and no spiders. The service person was very professional, helpful, and thorough. I have left sticky traps around the house to monitor any night time crawlers. I just found this draft review I started. Now it is 6 months later and no bugs yet so they were definitely very effective. The problem was crickets, periodically ants, and a really unwelcomed arrival of water bugs (ughh!). My house was overrun with ants, as well as the spiders who were eating the ants. Nothing could be sat on a counter without it having its own population in minutes. Excellent customer service! Went above my expectations when the service was done in our home. Very thorough and spent the time it takes to get the webs off home and do a very thorough job spraying! We have used various known companies in the past due to ants and spiders we continually battle in the Ojai area.. the PREVIOUS companies used litterally showed up spent 10 min tops with a half done treatment then they leave as quick as they show up and charge more. I've had the same pest control service for 6 years... My brother convinced me to sign up with dash because we have 2 dogs & 2 small children... You may think that sounds strange, BUT they only use the best & safest products so it is very important. The cost was the same, So I figured I might as well give it a try... 2 months later, they came to spray since I'd be out of my current contract. Chris was absolutely outstanding!!! He was so knowledgeable & friendly. My husband was thoroughly impressed (he's usually a man of a few words). Chris moved the dog water to spray behind it so no chemicals got into it (never been done before). He also asked if we had any specific requests and met them all. Took down cob webs & spider webs that made their way into the rose bushes... I definitely am a satisfied customer! You will not be disappointed if you sign up with them!!! I felt like this was worth updating... Again, we have always had exterminators. When dash came to spray bugs came out of everywhere!!! I couldn't believe it... Even a black widow out of the kitchen cabinets. Omg! I was so freaked out!!! Why? Because they don't water down the pesticides! All the bugs were practically immune to the other stuff. I had to call a pest control because for a week I have been hearing scurrying on my roof. I have an avocado tree adjacent to my home and thought possibly was able to access the roof since the branches hang over the house. They sent someone over who looked around never even put the ladder on the roof and said. I see nothing but a screen is loose we can fix that. I asked if he even took a look at the roof he said no since he can't access it. He then said what you might be hearing are the avocadoes that are falling on your roof. Pretty insulting is that because I am a woman. Would he have said that to a man? Probably not! I got charged $50.00 for that. If he would have at least gotten on the roof to check for activity then maybe I would have felt like I didn't just get robbed. Yes I paid it because I am an honest customer. I will never recommend them to anyone. No I am not hearing avocadoes scurrying around on my roof. How insulting. read more

I've had three visits now and every time the tech did a great job of spraying the yard and dusting the eve's etc. I was not home (when I said I would be - doh! on one visit - and the tech let himself in the backyard as I told him it would be open.) I was solicited by a college student (Avery)back in August, looking to sign up clients for Dash Pest Control quarterly service. We had recently had an ant problem, so I decided to try out the service. I was assured that we could cancel at any time. A Dash Technician was prompt, courteous and professional, which we were happy with. We decided this was not a service that we needed to continue, so my wife contacted Dash a few weeks later. When she informed them that we no longer wanted to continue their services, she was informed that the contract could not be canceled and that they would continue to bill us for their services (which they have not been back to preform). My wife informed them that she would not pay, and not to contact us again. We continue to get phone calls, emails and text stating that your next service is such and such date and that we would be billed. My Wife had warned the person that she talked at Dash (John I believe) that if the harassment continued, we would contact the BBB and Yelp. Well, we were contacted three more times and I am tired of the harassment! Please STOP!!! This company does good work, but be leery of any service contract!!! read more
