Hello, I am not a customer of this man / company and I never will be. I am the neighbor who has to deal with the aftermath of drift, when he comes over and sprays my neighbors ants & "weeds" yes they are too lazy to pull their own weeds. Or brainwashed to believe they are poisoned?? Maybe go buy some dandelion root at the market and ask yourself, why are they selling "weeds" for such a high price??? Hmmmm I have tried to play nice with this man / company & my neighbors by asking for - NEIGHBOR NOTICE & A LIST IF CHEMICALS THAT ARE BEING USED, as I grow edibles and have a beautiful GREEN garden. By law it is required to give me a list of chemicals used upon asking and if not it is a violation of California law. He always seems to skirt that issue. This along with asking him on 6 different occasions for neighbor notice, so that I can cover my plants, has fallen upon deaf ears. I also have animals & caught this man spraying and peeping over my fence for 10 minutes when I was outside with my animals. Not sure why he wouldn't be kind and say, "hey I'm spraying chemicals," but not everyone is kind and compassionate to animals. Let me also just say that the home owner asks for complete respect for her animals and that is given. This morning I came outside only to notice a drift line across my garden and BROWN limbs of my plants. As I said I asked for neighbor notice 6 times, a text with 12 hour notice or a note in my mailbox. Never done, and never a list of chemicals. So while some of you might want to hire this company & man, know that he is 1. A liar 2. Unethical and doesn't keep his word 3. Not following the laws of California agriculture, & 4. Spraying chemicals into a yard with bees which are an endangered species & if there is just one bee in your yard, you cannot spray. Ethically but also lawfully. I understand that everyone has to make money, however I believe in integrity and a Organic you toxic garden, along with a planet that allows bees to flourish, and every time he sprays I have to loose some of my beautiful green plants that I grew so not to accidentally poison someone with my veggies & fruits, because truthfully they are no longer truly organically grown outside. I have tried and tried to deal with this kindly and it isn't working. Along with this, the man peeped over my fence for 5-10 minutes while spraying and watching myself and my animal, never once having the kindness to say, " Hey I'm spraying chemicals, you might want to take your beloved pet inside." Nothing. I worry for my safety, as if a man will kill bees, plants bugs etc. what would prevent him from hurting myself or my animals? I would never hire this company, first of all because I can pull my own "weeds" with my arms and a sore some sunlight while doing so, but also because I do not play God, and killing nature, when we live amount it, is a very strange way to make money and I don't know what kind of human soul would think that is okay, and do it over and over on a daily basis. I have contacted the company once again asking for a list of chemicals and nothing, just a bunch of fun around. Like I say, that is illegal, and I must be told the chemicals that they are using the moment I ask. This can harm myself and my family, as we have all seen with Roundup. Causing all types of Cancers, and I have every right to ask. If I sprayed anything on to these people, I'm sure they would wonder what it was. Let's all be better people and treat he earth with kindness and natural products, need oil etc. instead of toxic chemicals, that people have been brainwashed to believe will "protect" them from ants?? shameful company!!!! read more

The business owner was great and gave us a "neighborhood discount" until we were about to sell our house. Per the sale terms, we had to get our house sprayed and were in a time crunch to get it done as our house was going to close in days. When the owner showed up, knowing we were in selling our house and in time crunch, he told us that we could no longer get a discount since "we were no longer going to live in the neighborhood". He charged us almost double the price and required cash. Being in a time crunch and knowing that our house sale depended on it, we payed the money. That was not a good or honest business practice and I will never recommend this business. read more

David is great! I have some sort of small bug infestation that I couldn't identify. I took a live one to David and he identified it within 30 seconds and gave a detailed explanation of the species. He also gave me about 15 sticky pads to see how bad the problem is, all of this at no cost. I will definitely reach out to him again if I have any bug problems in the future. I HATE SPIDERS. And they love my house and backyard. Totally unacceptable because I just CANNOT. The tipping point for the fiancé was when he saw a mouse in the house. We called Bugs 'N' Things after not being able to get ahold of some other companies that came up on our search. They came out the very next day and assured us all our problems would be solved. SO helpful. SO great. SO nice. Stayed for hours just to make sure all our questions were answered, concerns were addressed and goals were met. I asked for a quote on Yelp, and David responded asking me to call him. He gave me a quote lower than the other 5-companies that contacted me without my consent. Not only was he 50% lower than the competitors he came to my home 45-minutes after giving me the quote, and did exactly what he said he would do. I was very impressed with David, the owner of Bugs and Things. My mother lives in Leisure Village in Camarillo and woke up to a squirrel in her house! I had called 2 exterminator companies...the first one was booked, the second one did not get back to me for 6 hours (the day was over). I got online, saw Bugs and Things and read the reviews, so decided to call. David answered, listened, and was compassionate to my needs when I told him we had a squirrel running loose in the house! He said he would be there in 45 minutes to an hour and he showed up exactly when he said he would. When he got here, he explained what he was going to do and what it would cost. He knew exactly how to handle the situation and was very professional, even wearing booties when he came in the house. He was able to let the squirrel out of the house very quickly. Then I proceeded to show him how it got in by chewing a hole thru the microwave vent over the stove. When he started to look up the vent hole, a SECOND squirrel was dangling there, as if it were dead. We found out quickly it wasn't dead, just hung up on the wiring inside the microwave!! David carefully sealed and removed the microwave from the wall and carried the whole thing outside where he was able to safely let the 2nd squirrel loose. We couldn't be happier calling Bugs and Things. His price was reasonable, his response time was quick, and he left the areas where he worked very clean. I would definitely recommend him! read more
