Everything from start to finish has been seamless. We just moved to our new home in Simi Valley and due to the amount of greenery and plants and trees, we have so many insects and ants crawling around everywhere. They were beginning to invade the inside of our home. Marcus was sent to us and he was so detailed and did such a wonderful job. He was polite, kind, patient, and in this heat, he worked so hard and with a smile on his face the entire time. I've worked with other pest control companies, and it was very transactional, which is fine. But with Marcus, it felt like he was taking care of his own home. And that matters. I absolutely would recommend this company and Marcus to any of my friends and family. read more

Cragoe Pest Services - Our yard - Pest Control Near Me - Moorpark, California

I was in a state of panic when I reached out to Cragoe. There were ground squirrel holes all around my farm. My delicate flowers were dying. Their vulnerable roots were being exposed and damaged. I called a number of pest control companies and I couldn't believe the solutions I was being pitched. The solutions that were being recommended were overly complicated elaborate and expensive. Luckily, I also called Cragoe. When David, the owner, came out, I liked him instantly. His approach was straightforward, and cost-efficient. Darry is our our technician and he's an awesome guy. Friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. You can tell he's been doing this a long time and knows what he's doing. I'm amazed at how quickly Darry has gotten our squirrel problem under control. I feel completely confident leaving Darry in charge of my pest problem now, so I can focus my attention on growing my flowers. Everyone at the company has been a pleasure team to deal with, from Michelle in the office, Dave, and of course Darry. Darry sends a thorough report after every visit. Website is super user friendly. Payment is a breeze. Highly recommend! read more

Luis is such a pleasure to see every time he comes for our maintenance service. Always a smile and keeps our house free from critters. Recently we had trouble with some tricky ants from the field behind our house that found a high wire highway onto our property that were causing trouble. Luis responded the same day and took care of the problem for us... and of course with a smile. We love doing business with a local company that cares about their employees and their customers. read more

Great experience with Cragoe. We needed help with bee hive removal from our yard. Received a prompt response from the owner of the company for a quote that was placed through yelp over the weekend on Saturday evening. Quote was reasonable in comparison to others who responded. The technician Luis was knowledgeable & responsive when I had questions about the process. We had projects going on which required onsite contractors to be here- Luis was mindful & considerate about timing to reduce issues that his process might cause with the bees & consequently to the people on site. Bee removal was scheduled when the other contractors would be gone. This was indeed a good strategy! Hive was successfully removed- Africanized bees! Thank you Cragoe for your help! read more

Terrible. Horrible customer service. Unrealistic hours. [This review is based on the first and only call I will make to this company.] I called to set up a time for a weekend inspection. This company does NOT work weekends NOR do they work past 4pm. When I told the lady on the phone that I cannot accommodate those crazy hours - because, like them, I work during the day. She had the audacity to suggest that I take a vacation day to stay home. What the heck?! Are you effing for real!!!!? You expect me to waste one of my precious vacation days so you can come and just look at my home - not even perform the service - because your company fails to recognize that your potential customers might also have 9-to-5 jobs!? Why don't you give me one of YOUR vacations days? FFS! read more

Our house suddenly was a haven for ants and earwig bugs, aka "pincher bugs" (a lot of earwigs!) I called the office and was kindly greeted with professionalism. They had the service person that works in our area contact me within a couple of hours. Our service man is Rudy. I chose Cragoe because of no nonsense sales tactics as I received from calling 3 other companies. Rudy told me an approximate cost. He didn't try to loop me into a contract. Rudy texted me when he was on his way to our house. Texted when he arrived. FIRST went around the eaves and swept away spider webs (I did not expect that!) Then sprayed around our house. I am SO happy that I chose Cragoe Pest Service read more

Cragoe is the only pest service we have use in our home. We tried other 'big name' pest services before we moved into the area, but weren't really satisfied. They always wanted to sell a maintenance plan. We don't have to use Cragoe all of the time, because they get the job done! We had a horrific ant problem - in the walls, in the pipes, it was like our house was built on an ant hill. They evaluated the problem, told us realistically what we could expect and how long it would take, and said when we saw 1 ant, call right away. It took a few servicings about 4-6 months apart and the tips they gave us really helped - we have been ant-free now for 6 years. Whatever they use works, and after it dries, it is safe for my dogs. They are honest and dependable, and let you decide what plan of attack will work best for you, no high pressure up selling - highly recommend. read more

I was recommended to this company and called them out to my house for an issue. I was quoted a price for overall work and when I got the invoice, it was about $50 higher so I thought, maybe a mistake...I emailed Michelle back who sent the invoice - got no answer so I called the Terry who initially did the consultation and left a message - Still no reply back. It's been 4 days and still no answer from the company. I was told that they once invoice is signed, they could come out within a few days. I guess buyer be aware as they do not promise on what they say or quote!! Also, don't waste anyone's time if you are not willing to do the job. It's simple customer service to call back, email back or text. There are other companies who quoted me less and did a far better job. read more

I called for an estimate for 2 days in a row, and was told both days I would receive a call right away. I did not get a call either time and have lost 2 days waiting for them to call. I wouldn't trust doing business with them. Not reliable. read more

Miguel just came by and inspected our roof after calling last week to report we have rodents in our crawl space or on our roof. Miguel quickly determined they were most likely on the roof as there is no apparent access to a crawl space. He put screens over two bathroom vents and a hole in the corner of the roof. He was personable and efficient, I'd highly recommend them to others. read more

We called Cragoe after another company was unsuccessful in helping us with our rodent problem. Miguel got back to us right away, and was very responsive by phone and text as well. We had an initial discussion over the phone about our problem, and when he got to our place for an inspection, he was extremely thorough and talked us through everything. He even got up on his ladder to inspect our roof area, which apparently is not something that many pest companies will do. At the end, he made some suggestions as to how to fix our problem, helped us set up a trap that we had previously purchased ourselves, and then went on his way without charging us a dime nor trying to sell us on any pest control or elimination package. Instead he gave us his card and told us to call him if we find that we need further help. He was very helpful, straightforward and honest, and we really appreciated it. We highly recommend you call Cragoe... And ask for Miguel! read more

We used to use other pest control services, but they did not communicate well with us and I never really knew when they were coming for the maintenance service or not. They also didn't ever touch spider webs on my house or under the eaves. We began using Cragoe 4 years ago. Their owner Dave is extremely knowledgeable and has a heart of service. We are also entirely happy with their pricing, their courteous staff, and their excellent communication. The service tech calls the day before each time they are coming to let me know. Then, when I see him working, he not only sprays my yard thoroughly (we haven't had an ant invasion since they began), but he checks the house over and even brushes the cobwebs off from under the eaves. I have recommended them to a number of friends, with positive results. We appreciate this well run family business, and wish there were more companies like Cragoe Pest Control. read more
