If I could go lower than one star I would. Without going in to to much detail this individual is very unprofessional and when ever we talked he acted like he didn't know what was going on. We were having a home tented and kept saying he was going to send paperwork for us to sign but he never did. Finally, a few days before the job he emailed paperwork to us, 2 of the attachments were duplicates and the other attachment were requiring us to go get signatures from neighbors for the fumigation. It also want us to fill in what type of chemicals they were using. I called him to find out what the heck is going on, he called me back at 11:30 at night...I only noticed a missed call from him at that time. When I finally talked the day before the job he tells me...oh you don't need to fill out any of that paperwork, just sign it. He began to aurgue with me and then said, he's canceling the job because I seem like someone who will not pay. He could not have been further from the truth, then hung up on me. I had to call the gas company on Sunday evening and cancel the turn off that he scheduled. I would never use this individual. I have read his comment on others that have rated him very low and he has an excuse for everything; I see now that all the low ratings are very accurate. Poor communication, and very rude. Got a fumigation done which completed on sat. Unable to get a hold of anyone on the phone (since it was a Saturday) to find location of house key. Augie then goes to tell us he doesn't answer the phone on the weekends cause their offices are closed... So I guess we are supposed to wait until the next business day to get back into the house? Augustine "Auggie" rescheduled our first meeting, then the day of inspection lacked communication. According to my expectation, Auggie showed up late and fails in basic communication. I can't testify to his quality of work because he left no choice but to FIRE HIM before he could render my requested Termite inspection report. I agreed to meet him at the property, with instructions to notify me BEFORE he was done. Since Auggie fails in comprehension he left without payment. Worst company ever. The owner is rude and disrespectful. He literally shut me up and said he didn't have to listen to anything I said. The house I sold he said had termites and needed to get exterminated. He never provided the bags for my food and said he did not have to. Then the home I bought he said was clear and guess what!? It has termites but he said he's not responsible. So what are his responsibilities???? Does he even check? This company will be reported to the better business bureau . They cleared a home for section 1 termite repairs saying only $300 work was needed when over $4,000 of work was needed! Luckily, we had multiple termite inspections performed which all had similar findings. Stay far away from this company! Certain realtors (veteran home services) who represented the seller kept pushing to accept their termite inspection and questioned why we were having our own inspection performed. Used 1 Stop pest control when buying another house. Augie said he would show up between 11am and 1 pm. He showed shortly after 1 and sat in front of the house and was on phone until 1:20 when I went out to if he was going to get started. He hung up phone and instant attitude. Maybe I should stayed inside and waited because he came up with a bid of over $ 3,800. including the deck he said was attached to the house. The deck was to the house but not attached to it. After speaking to my real estate agent who recommended him . I decided to get the work done and get the real estate deal over. Not knowing who was doing the pest control on the new house I was only told pest control report was complete and all was good at the new home. The sellers offered $1500 pest control clean up. Thinking all was fine and not knowing who did the inspection the deal was signed off and deal completed. While moving in I noticed a lot of rodent feces on the upper shelves in the garage and later in the attic. Shortly after noticing bad smell in the back bedroom in the house and hearing rodents in the attic.Paperwork stated report stapled in attic. No report in attic and out $1500 from sellers for repairs. I know there are bad contractors operating but Augie and 1 Stop pest control are the worst. read more
