After waking up with 100 bug bites and receiving a doctor's diagnosis of bed bugs I felt I needed a professional exterminator. Jerry and his daughter thoroughly searched my home but didn't find any bed bugs. They were friendly, informative, helpful and honest. I was thankful there were no bed bugs, perhaps my bites were from chiggers. I was even more grateful that Jerry and his daughter did not perform any treatment as there was no need for it. Being a first-time homeowner can be scary but BPC made it so much easier for us. We purchased our home 2 years ago and started to notice termite dropping. I called BPC based on a recommendation from my realtor. They fumigated for DRY WOOD termites. I was happy with how this job was handled. When termites came back within the warranty period of 3 years, they informed me that SUBTERRANEAN termites were not covered in my warranty. When I asked if they had initially inspected for subterranean termites they said that they had not. I asked "How did you know which kind of termites we had- and whether we needed perimeter treatment (for subterranean) or fumigation (for dry wood) termites?" They did not have an answer. The problem with this company and Saul Guittierrez, who performed the "inspection," prior to fumigation was that they did NOT inspect my crawl space under the house to check for mud tubes and subterranean termites. They were NOT interested in determining whether I had dry wood or subterranean termites- instead doing a cursory examination which revealed dry wood termites. Had they performed a thorough inspection, they would perhaps have seen the subterranean termites. I recommend that you call a competitor that performs thorough inspections rather than "limited" inspections, so that your house gets the proper treatment for termites. read more

I used BPC Structural Termite Pest Control twice for a condo that needed treating in Westlake Village. Saul was in charge of inspections and Sal was the one who showed up to supervise and contribute to the wood work that needed replacing. The woodwork repairs were extensive and Sal acted professionally including the time he took to answer questions. His work was impeccable however, equally important he was patient with me, a concerned owner. My timeline was tight and BPC was able to fit me into their busy schedule and get the work done so that I could sell my unit. Cathy and Melissa were very patient with me as I had many concerns and continued changes and problems in my work order. I highly recommend the company and want to give a big shout out to Sal! My HOA uses BPC for termite treatment. They come out and inspect, write up some damage, then schedule repair. When they come out for repair, they find more damage. Then repeat. It is a vicious cycle between them and the HOA gouging home owners. Oh and then they lied to the HOA and said I did not let them inspect some of the property. BTW I was the perfect home owner, paid my dues on time, always got the repairs done no questions asked. Well no more! Steer clear of these scam artists! She has had termites for a very long time and they let us know everything that needed to be replaced which in the near future we will be fixing and of course we will be using them for that as well. As far as the fume it was quick and easy and it took less than 2 weeks to get the inspection and the fume all done.
