They don't return calls. They don't respond to service requests. My house is infested with ants...no response. If you're looking for a pest control service, good luck with them, you'll have a home full of insects and rodents. Absolutely worthless. They were afraid of my 3lb yorkie, so they skipped service. Very unprofessional. This business was well respected when Larry Casner owned and operated Casner. When the owners changed with the name so did the quality of service. All the new people that came with the new ownership are not to be trusted. I do not recommend using this local business at all. The inspectors are very inexperienced. We just got our house tented for fumigation and a month prior we received the electro-gun treatment in some areas of our house as well. DeAnna, the office manager, was pleasant to work with. She was available via email, phone and text. She even dropped off some fume bags to my house when I couldn't come in since I was home with the kids. We had worked with Alberto & Albert (father & son) as well as with Aaron & Caleb for treatment. They were all very knowledgable, professional and had their masks and booties on when they entered the home. After fumigation, DeAnna scheduled free pest control service to treat for ants (didn't know ants love dead termites). SAME place I've electronically sent payment for YEARS- so I called Casner- they said they SOLD business 2 YEARS AGO to CASWEST AND HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND THEM??? I have had service- I saw a guy there last month! But I needed more help with spiders, as well as wondering why my payment was returned so I started calling- Casner asked if I get in touch with CASWEST could I please tell THEM how to locate CASWEST??? Caswest got rid of our rats! They plugged up the holes where rats were entering our attic, and they placed traps around the outside of our house. We had one rat, and they took care of the problem expeditiously. Courtesy, competence, and excellent service! I recommend them highly! read more

We had two pest control companies come to our house to see about a fumigation and were left with the feeling that we were getting pitched for more than we needed. A friend recommended Caswest. We called Caswest. Aaron, one of their inspectors came out and unlike the two others, said we didn't need our whole house fumigated, but rather a spot treatment to four places in our house. We did not need fumigation. We were able to stay home during the process and weren't inconvenienced in the least. We also were pleased that Caswest's spot treatments were less than half of what the others' fumigations would have cost. My confidence in the industry was restored with Aaron and Caswest: Honest, reliable, on time, and a genuinely caring approach with a perfect remedy. No hustle. I cannot say enough good things about Casner Exterminating. My girlfriend recommended them about four years ago after they tented her Somis home for termites. I used them for our Woodland Hills home when the termites were coming up through the hardwood floors. When we moved to Camarillo, I continued to use their services for montly pest control. Jon Casner is an amazing sleuth when it comes to finding the areas the rodents use to enter the attic. Alberto and Albert (father & son) are fabulous technicians, willing to go the extra mile to eradicate ants, fleas, & the ever present rodents (we live adjacent to a field of avocado trees, so we have to be pro-active). I had FOUR different companies come out for an estimate. I needed my house tented and I got such a variety of quotes. CASWEST was great. DeAnna is awesome and very friendly to deal with on the phone. The guy who came out to the house for the quote was very professional and straight forward. I had the preventive treatment done in my attic and the house tented. The process is a pain but they made it as easy as possible. And they took the tent down on the 4th of July when it was scheduled for the 5th. So they worked over the Holiday. They were all awesome. Was Casner Exterminating according to Deanna manager who is rude obnoxious and does not stand behind contracts and says it's now called Caswest exterminating. I Have been with Casner for years never had a problem until now. Have had a contract paid in full up to end of March for several years. Had Appointment for March 20 it was a no-show. called Deanna she said we no longer had a contract since they were now Caswest instead of Casner and would not honor the contract. Also Deanna said any work done they would have to charge more at least $1000 since they were a new business and didn't have enough workers to do the jobs. WHAT!!! She hung up on me when I called back she had blocked by number. I then called back using a different cell number and a Rosemary Jimenez Lucero answered and said Deanna was on a family grievance but would give Deanna the message in a couple of minutes Deanna called back screaming at me that she was on a family grievance did I know with that meant and that we no longer had a contract and to get a different exterminating business. She was hysterical and acted like she had way too much on her plate this is obviously not a credible business. I will be making a trip down to the office of the Better Business Bureau! read more

I had fantastic service while Jason was working for Casner. I used them for 2 years without a problem. When he left, the service couldn't have been worse. They couldn't seem to get their scheduling right. I had 2 no shows, they showed no regard for my pets and billed me for services they didn't do. They also trespassed on my property once I terminated our contract and took bate traps that did not belong to them. They are a company that has poor customer service, poor administrative staff and poor regard for their customer. I would NOT use them. read more

I had Casner do our subterranean treatment when we first bought our house almost a year ago. Jon said he would give us a discount for whole house treatment but said it's best to do after we do our remodel. They were great, courteous, professional and efficient in 2015 when they came out. I'd give them 4 stars except I have texted twice to have them come out to finish the job, and called today but not only is there no answer, there isn't even a voice mail. Plus their website says they are open till 5... (I called before 5) today. I can't email either because their website doesn't give a email. So I sent a request for quote in.
