Bier!

It is always an absolute family feast when we visit the Haus! And today we tried a few different items that we liked very much. We are a share-a-bite family, and that may horrify some folks, but we eat our way lol. But I was boring, and ordered what I always order, Jaeger Schnitzel. I just adore their gravy. What was really neat, was some visitors at the table right by us were visiting from Austria, and they genuinely like their lunch items, mentioning it was a great representation of German fare so far away from Europe. Who were we not to believe them!

Second time coming here. The resturaunt is on one side and the bar on the other. Quaint resturaunt with many German decorations. Service is always on point and just the nicest people. Many German dishes and some American ones as well. Sauerbraten and würstel(s) are delicious. The Schnitzels are homemade.

It's been a while since we are here, but the food is just as good as always! Service was from a waitress who has been there 25 years! Or at least I think I heard her correctly. Wow! She was good too! Enticing us by passing by our table with desserts that we hadn't planned to have but then did!! I was so full when we left. They did have an Octoberfest menu for the month of October! And the place is always decorated in a German theme. A great place to visit but remember to bring your appetite!

Delivered a custom poker table and stayed a extra night at the Spokane Tribes casino and was crazing German food, popped on Yelp and sure enough, another great recommendation! My wife's German heritage and we travel to Leavenworth often, and I must say, this is the best Schitzel we've had yet!!! And fairly priced as well, can recommend the Cheescake also....lol

Good food and service, price was very reasonable. Not perfect, schnitzel sauces coulda had a little more flavor but we'll definitely be back. The pretzel and the two sauces with it were amazing tho!

I came to try some German Breakfast and it was very good. Their draft beer is amazing and their plates are huge. The food had lits of flavor. The service was great and the ambience was cool, lots of German art. I will recommend this restaurant.

Quiet place that isn't to busy but smells great! We got right in and seated in a table that actually fit 5 people. Service was good and fast. The food was so delicious and savory and comforting. The schnitzel was crispy and porky and veal sauce was tasty. The beef stroganoff had a strong beefy flavor. Really enjoyed the spaetzle which had a good texture. Would recommend!

Fantastic food. The space is divided into a bar side and a restaurant side, though you can get food on the Bar side. Great service.

I ordered the Fig Sandwich and the Fancy Pants Sando because I could not decide between the two as they both sounded very unique in different ways. I called the place up and arranged to come pick the food up. The person on the phone was very thoughtful in keeping in mind at what time I would arrive so he could arrange for the sandwich to be toasted at the right time. I appreciate small details like that. When I arrived, I noticed there were several tables and a bar where you can essentially get brews and food. I noticed they had several beers on tap which I was very curious about, but unfortunately did not have time to sit down and eat at this establishment. The person at the bar was extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. The two sandwiches came up to $40ish. I brought the sandwiches home and first tried a few bites of the Fancy Pants Sando. I will have to say it was the better of the two sandwiches. I appreciated the goat cheese in the sandwich and the mix of different ingredients, but it was not something I would consider to be a great sandwich, at least not for me. Others might find it pleasant, but I did not care for it much. The fig sandwich was the one I was more excited about and expected some sweetness to be cut down by the bacon. I don't think it was a perfect balance between the two, and I got a tad much of the overwhelming sweetness of the figs in this sandwich. Again, others might enjoy it, but I didn't care for it. I really wanted to give this place a great review, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The beer looks fun though and might be a good reason to give this place a try, and you may enjoy their sandwiches and many people have. For me, that's a no-go.

When we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the guy at the bar was genuinely friendly and helpful, which always makes a difference. The food prep was impressively fast, and everything was packaged neatly and thoughtfully for takeout. We started with the pretzel, which was solid, but the real standout was the mustard--super unique with a tangy, spicy, almost wasabi-like kick that made it memorable. For mains, the curry dish hit a great balance--flavorful without being overpowering or too mild. And the biggest endorsement came from my daughter, who ordered the kids pasta with marinara and added chicken--she declared it the "best spaghetti she's ever had!" (Shh... don't tell mom.) Overall, great service, tasty food, and a welcoming vibe. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is I'd love to explore more of the menu next time--but based on this visit, we'll definitely be back.

The vodka soda tasted like all soda. The french onion soup was barely warm and had almost no cheese. We had to ask the waitress for water while she brought waters to other tables prior to them ordering. We were also charged full price for our cocktails even though we ordered during happy hour. It was busier than last time I was here, but this is definitely our last time here. Lots of other choices in the area

Volleyball tournament at Eastern U but decided to stay in Spokane @The Louie (check out that review too) for the weekend AND IT'S RESTAURANT WEEK, YAY US!!! Note: this may not be a long review because I put off writing this review. In short food and service is spot on. GO AND TRY! Make sure you go during happy hour so you can try a bunch of food and if you're not full yet order dinner, LOL We walk in on a Friday night not knowing restaurant week was happening and decided to walk over early since we're meeting up with friends...so happy hour just started too! Now we got SPOILED because we're looking at three different menus: happy hour, restaurant week and their everyday menu. Each had something we wanted to try so let the ordering / food fest begin! Street corn ribs, Brussels chip = super light, pokè tostada, steelhead chowder (not pictured), halibut, sea bass...many cocktails since we walked and dessert. We had dinner with friends so there was much more food on the table than in the review. And if you get to the bottom of this review and don't try Steelhead Bar & Grille when in Spokane, it'll be your loss!

The kids menu was large enough for my kids for feel full as well and I took some of their fries which was actually very well seasoned. Service was excellent as well and they ended up closing late for us which was very much appreciated.

My goodness was all the food absolutely delicious. I can't recommend this place more. The pretzels there are so unique and delicious. Best pretzels ever. Had there shrimp tacos that was a flavor melody I wasn't expecting and it left me wanting more. Finally the strawberry oat bar was simply the best tasting thing I've had in a while and it melted in your mouth. Soooooo amazing! The ambience was a bit loud as it is a small space but I wouldn't want it to be any bigger other wise you would be able to see the amazing chef's in the kitchen whipping up your food. Over all this place is definitely worth checking out and I will be back soon!

We went to Cascadia Public House on a Sunday with pretty high expectations after reading so many…read moregood reviews, but unfortunately it was a letdown from start to finish. The biggest issue right away was how long the food took. It felt like we were waiting forever, and by the time it finally came out, it definitely didn't feel worth it. We started with the pretzel, which honestly was nothing like a pretzel. It tasted more like glorified fried dough and didn't have that classic pretzel texture or flavor at all. For drinks, mine was way too strong and just didn't taste good. It wasn't balanced at all and ended up being hard to even enjoy. For my main, I ordered the Cascadia burger medium, but it came out clearly well done and overcooked. On top of that, the egg on it was severely undercooked.. some of the whites were still clear and slimy, which completely ruined it for me. I had also heard good things about the mac and cheese, so I gave it a try, but that was another disappointment. It was bland and runny, and even after adding salt and pepper, it still had no real flavor. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, which wasn't terrible, but it was definitely on the dry side. They were also out of fries, so he had to get fruit instead, which was kind of disappointing. Overall, the food took way too long, the quality didn't match the price, and the experience just didn't live up to the hype at all. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
