You order at the counter, and the service is quick and friendly. I got the black sugar latte, and I was a bit hesitant at first due to how light it looked, but the flavor was surprisingly bold, smooth, and not overly sweet. My fiancé's americano was just as good, strong but without any bitterness.   They also had a "blind date with a book" display, where you pick a book based on a short description and unwrap it after purchase. I thought it was such a fun and unique touch! Overall, loved the ambiance and the coffee. Definitely would come back when I need a quick pick me up!

She was awesome. Everyone loved their food. I had the Big Breakfast again and had the same banana pecan pancakes I ordered during my last visit but this time I got jalapeno bacon as my protein and hashbrowns instead of grits. The bacon was SO GOOD and was full of jalapeno flavor but minus the spice. I could've eaten a couple more slices of that goodness. It was crispy, a tad bit burnt but again it was so good. The hashbrowns were perfectly crispy. I also made sure to get plenty of strawberry butter this time and I slathered it all over my pancake and biscuit. The kiddos had child's plates that included two mini pancakes, eggs and a choice of protein. My cousin had a hash that looked incredible and she said it was very tasty. I'll have to try it out one day if I can ever break myself away from the pancakes. Just like last time the amibiance was warm, cozy, family friendly and Christian themed. This just might be my fave breakfast spot. I absolutely love it.

The hostess estimated a wait of less than 15 minutes, and we were seated right on schedule. The atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming, making it easy to enjoy a conversation. Our waitress was courteous and attentive throughout the meal. While we did have to request a few items, which suggested she may have been juggling several tables, she remained friendly and diligent, promptly clearing plates as we finished. For lunch, I ordered the 2-for-You special with the Monterey Club and Chicken Avocado Chop Salad. Presentation wasn't particularly impressive, but fortunately the flavor was better than the appearance suggested. It was a satisfying meal and a solid value for the price. Overall, First Watch remains a reliable brunch option. While I may opt for takeout on my next visit, the food, atmosphere, and efficient service keep it on my list of local go-to spots. If you're in the area and looking for a dependable brunch destination, it's worth a try.

We all know the Houston weather, it doesn't get any cooler. Although, at the patio, you can see curious chickens roaming around your tables, which is cute and entertaining. We sat in a hot day of July, in the patio. I drank enough melted iced water for the whole week. Service was super caring. Many check-ins, many reassurances that she didn't forget our orders. My friend and I were having the best time in catching up. Food was lean. Smoothies tasted so good. My friend loves their coffee there. I wish I had the energy to visit the surroundings of the restaurant. But given how hot it was, I had to leave this for another day. Parking isn't the easiest but keep in mind this is a popular spot!
