Got out for coffee and came to First Watch for a nice breakfast after coffee at Luce's next door. Was not disappointed, got in at the prefect time around 8.30 in the morning.Quite a few tables were taken but there was still plenty available so the wait time was almost nil- good thing for us. I took half and half all day lunch with the tomato basil soup and salad. The menu said that salads came with a toast, so I asked for it and Kevin promptly got it for me with one side nicely buttered. My partner got his omelette plate. Kevin was very cheerful, friendly and ready to help. I would give his service 10/10. Neatly maintained, ambiance is simple yet welcoming. The bill can be paid at your table with a QR code, or at the front desk, these are the only 2 options. QR code payment is the new thing catching on.... technology ! Quite a few vegetarian options. What they stand out for is their drink options- boosters, kale infused , flower infused etc etc , but they do carry the regular coffee options as well. Note: they open early but close by 2.30 pm everyday. Want to try, come early

Biscuits & Turkey Sausage Gravy With Eggs

My cousin and I took our kids to eat a late breakfast on Sunday around 11 am. It was very busy and the wait was as expected. Our server was nice. I ordered the biscuits & turkey sausage with scrambled eggs (gravy on the side). My kids ordered the French toast with turkey sausage & chocolate chip pancake with turkey sausage from the kids menu which also includes a drink. The biscuit was soft and fluffy. I'm usually hesitant on gravy which is why I requested it on the side but I ended up finishing it all! The potatoes were cooked perfectly. The kids also enjoyed their meals. The restrooms were clean and well kept. Overall, it was a good experience!

March 2026. Came in at 11 on Sunday. The wait was about 20 minutes. The noise level is quite high here. Even though it was busy, our server Dayana was fast and efficient. The food was tasty. I had the vacado and hubby had a chile chorizo omelet. Both were delicious but hubby said he would have asked for extra chorizo.

Ordered food to go and the avocado was old, it didn't come with toast and jam like it was supposed to. Got another drink that wasn't in my order. Asked for a green tea when I got there and it was not received.

Waitress was nice. We came on a Saturday with 3 kids and seat down right away. The French toast was so delicious. Chicken apple sausage is to die for. Wish I woukd have gotten two French toast. I want more lol. Lovely palce

Drinks: Cinnamon toast cereal milk: 10/10. Absolutely delicious. Perfect for a coffee drinker. Purple Haze: 10/10. Always a hit. Food: Million Dollar Bacon - 10/10. Highly recommend if you love sweet/savory. Trifecta with scrambled eggs. Substituted the meat for an extra egg since I always get the million dollar bacon as a side (comes with 4 if you do it like that vs 2 if you use it as your meat side). I add pecans to my pancakes and honestly... It's really good. 8/10. I wish it was buttermilk pancakes. My stars come from what I ordered. Not necessarily the service because it's different every time I come. The food however is consistent. This is a breakfast place so this is not a turn up for brunch. Wear casual clothes. Ambiance is breakfast appropriate.

Brunch with the fam is always a treat! First Watch did not disappoint. I enjoyed my pancakes with bacon and grits. My aunt especially enjoyed the Million Dollar Bloody Mary. The restaurant has plenty of great seating with casual contemporary decor. It's busy on a Sunday morning as to be expected. The food and service were great!

    Fully loaded French toast yummy

Good food reasonably priced would go during week very busy on the weekends but a nice place to take a friend or noon date.

I didn't have to ask for my first refill as the waitress recognized my thirst when I ordered the drink. My food did not disappoint. Another thing I have come to expect from this restaurant. The City Grits were fantastic! Using Gouda cheese with bacon, tomato and green onions as toppings. I opted not to get tomatoes and personally would have like about half as much green onions. But who doesn't love bacon! Hash browns instead of an English muffin and chopped ham instead of Canadian bacon made a special breakfast better. The eggs were poached to perfection. The staff appear to be happy working at this particular restaurant and I observed them working with each other as a team first.

There appeared to be bodily fluids on the restroom floors and on top of the stalls, extending toward the sink area. One of the urinals had a paper towel placed over it with what appeared to be bodily fluids present. The restroom needed immediate attention. While those sanitation issues were occurring, I observed someone watching a UFC fight on a cell phone that had been propped up on one of the restaurant's decorative areas. Whether it was during work or not, it gave the impression that sanitation was not being treated as a priority. I informed a server about the restroom conditions and asked if someone could address them. I was told not to have an attitude by my server (while explaining to him the plate). That response was disappointing, especially after raising what I believed were legitimate health and sanitation concerns. My partner also told me she saw creamers dropped onto the floor and then placed back into the serving container instead of being discarded. She also informed me that the women's restroom had bodily fluids on the toilets. To make matters worse, the plate my food was served on had dried food residue around the top, rim, and on the underside, which I photographed. Clean dishes are one of the most basic expectations when dining out. I hope management takes these concerns seriously. Restaurants are responsible for maintaining clean restrooms, properly sanitized dishware, and food-safe practices. Those standards protect both customers and employees. Unfortunately, this visit did not reflect those expectations.

They have an amazing catering menu that is in increments of 10. The choices were chicken with rice and the other is chicken and pasta. The meat is separated from the chicken so if you have any vegetarians, this is easily accommodated. There is also a salad and desserts. And of course, tea and coffee. The food was kept warm on a warming tray and served as a buffet at the back of the room. I was really impressed with the rice. There were a lot more ingredients in just plain rice. I actually like the chicken from the pasta meal better. But maybe, like both of these items, I like stronger flavors. The other choices weren't too bad either. The desserts are really cute and delicious. Some folks were excited and took more than one. There was a bit of confusion on where the cups were for the drinks and we had two bowls , one for gravy, and one for dressing, that our attendees were confused about. But they were easily fixed. The room was very clean, stable furniture (very important to us because some of our attendees are at fall risks) , and great natural lighting from the window windows. Unfortunately there was only one plug section so there is not a lot of options to place to projector. Make sure to bring an extended cord and floor tape. Since we reserved this rooms a few times, we were able to meet all the managers, Ms. Truc Hoang, Mr. Angelo Chavez, and Mr. Angel Garcia. They were all amazing, super responsive and gave us a lot of information to know what our options are. We had a last minute increase in attendees and they were amazingly able to accommodate . To celebrate the success of our event, I ordered one of their limited time hot chocolate for myself and my co worker. The hot chocolate was super creamy. The whipped creme in the martini glass is super dense and fluffy, perfect pair with this hot chocolate. And with some added substance, a fluffy soft mini croissant and sweet starberry ! My co worker and I kept looking at each other with excitement over this. Make sure to end your meal with this while it is here for the holidays!! Overall, this location is great for small gatherings. If you are looking for a venue to host an event, please be sure to add this to your list to check it out. The place was packed and there was a line of people waiting - I knew that was a good sign! The line moved fast and the staff were like worker bees - everybody getting the tables cleaned, people seated and orders taken with in minutes of sitting down. Our server SAL was top notch, explained everything on the menu that I drilled him about - really painted a picture of what the items was all about, helped me with making a selection! Give that kid a Gold Star - he is my server for life at Red OAK. He took care of us with a smile and quick service, what a shining star they got when they hired him! Now for the food - mercy is all I can say - the biscuits were out of this world - flaky, fluffy and fabulous! I got the Breakfast special and everything on the plate was perfect - the bacon was nice and crisp, hash browns were golden and egg really over easy - cooked to perfection. THE Pancakes - eyes rolling back in head - the biggest, fluffy golden brown things you have every seen and the syrup came in a glass carafe that warm syrup was an extra special touch. The food tasted okay, but it definitely lacked spices and in my opinion needs some TLC. One menu item that caught my attention was the Grown-Up Grilled Cheese: three types of cheeses, Granny Smith apple slices, bacon slices, and sourdough bread. Now I thought that the apple slices come on the side right? Nope, they were cooked in the sandwich. I don't know who came up with the concept of adding the apples into the sandwich, but whatever; I've tasted weirder things. Still, the sandwich didn't taste bad; that's just a weird concept in my opinion. The worst part of our service was the server. She didn't exactly introduce herself, but she did ask how we were with an apathetic tone. Like I said, she didn't tell us her name. Only way I can describe her is she wore eyeliner, red lipstick, and her blonde hair in a clip. During our visit to the restaurant, she just seemed like she hated her job and was emotionally constipated. When I wanted to substitute a side order of white chicken chili with the Grown-Up grilled cheese (I knew there would be an upcharge), she told me in a somewhat aggravated voice that there would be an upcharge. I told her calmly that I understood as the menu had specified. The only time she came by was to ask if we were done with our plates or needed a coffee refill, but not on how the food tasted. But yes, our server was probably the worst part of our visit. I've met Russians who were less cold than our server. I probably won't return unless the server gets an attitude adjustment or just leaves.
