Imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw what I had been missing all this time!! Truthfully, I thought it was more of a craft store than a book store; but I was completely wrong. There are many, many shelves and aisles of books - much more than I thought there would be. Both "parts" of the store, the books and the craft, are plentiful. Book 'N' Brush have a great selection of all genres of books - adults, teens, kids - and it's already great to have these selections in a local store. Physical space side of things - the aisles are wide, the shelves are deep, book covers are displayed, top sellers are spotlighted - everything is easy to see and the store is easy to navigate. The staff was very friendly with me. Checking in when I walked in and then let me wander and look around without being pushy or making me feel like they were hovering over me. Perfect!! All in all, I was very impressed with Book 'N' Brush and will certainly be back. I love book stores, I love local book stores even more, and this is a great one!

The baked goods are absolutely delicious. We bought huckleberry muffins. After I finished mine, I wanted at least 3 more. We bought a bag of books but I could have doesn't all day there. My favorite area is where all the Bibles are. My SIL wanted a New Living Translation with big lettering. Not only did she find one with a giant font, but she found one that was super giant font and it was the same size as a regular Bible. I got a Bible cover with a handle on the spine so you can easily protect and carry your Bible into church. What a fun place to shop!

Also, the voicemail is full and she wasn't left with the password, if you get voicemail, send a text. Susan made the wax so that part is still working well. Pete handled the technology side of things which she admits has never been her strong suit (many of us can relate). With help, she hopes to get back up to speed. Until then, try calling, if she doesn't answer send her a text or order online. Your card is not charged until your order is at the post office and ready to go out.

Holy Cow! What a bunch of stuff there is in this store!…read more As anyone that has frequented or passed through downtown Centralia, you know that there is no shortage of antique shops. There are some good ones and there are some poor ones. Timeless Treasures is on the above average side of the fence. To be perfectly honest, there is SOOO much stuff in this shop that it can be overwhelming to browse. For me, it was that and I got a wee bit discombobulated by the sheer amount of product that they have. Now ... that's not to say that it isn't worth going to or isn't worth searching around; it's just that there is a lot to look through. Unfortunately, it is not very well organized and is extremely cluttered. When I have more time to look around and see what I can see, I will come back and take my time going through the aisles and shelves and tables. One display, up front, that I was particularly interested in (and I have a picture included to show part of it) was the baseball card collection and binder! Growing up, I collected hundreds of baseball cards and loved looking through them and memorizing the stats of my favorite players. Their ginormous binder of cards brought back many fond memories for me!! :-) With owners/managers that are extremely friendly & kind and prices that are reasonable & fair, I do recommend Timeless Treasures to anyone that has time to look through their stock and an eye for that "treasure" that strikes your fancy! If you've come for something specific, find the appropriate pile/section and dig in! If you just came to look, you're gonna be here a while! We were barely acknowledged as we wandered through the labyrinthine collection, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as we didn't come in with anything in mind. Most objects were clearly labeled with a price, although I struggled to find tags on some of the books I was perusing in the upstairs area, which could be better organized, honestly; I found a few semi-intriguing titles scattered throughout, but they were not grouped together in any meaningful way, as far as I could tell, turning the whole process into a scavenger hunt. All that being said, this is probably the most exhaustive collection of antiques (sans furniture) in Centralia, so if you're up for excavating your way through layers of yesteryear's treasures, this is your best bet in the area!

Originated in Seattle, the owning family moved to Centralia pre-pandemic and made Lewis County their home. Successful navigating the shutdown, this business now survives thanks to the determination and passion of the grandfather who owns and runs the shop with the help of his wife and grandson! One cannot argue with the lineage that it present here. My son is wild about model trains and we are just getting started with his first electric model set - the locomotive, the additional cars, the tracks, and the layout! We're working to be all in. The extremely helpful and kind owners have been nothing but helpful to us - guiding me in explaining what we need (now and in the future) and how to install it. They've even helped me understand what wasn't working with our set and what else we'd need to make it work better. Being a small, locally owned business they don't always have the large selection that one might find at online shops; but believe me ... the online shops are not going to give you the personal attention and time that these guys will give you. They love model railroading and sharing their knowledge with the consumer. That said, they do have a goodly amount of trains and accessories for your layout at very reasonable prices! You'll be able to find locomotives, cars, and model extras (people, buildings, vehicles, landscapes, etc.). Plus they have paints and other model building supplies. Trust me ... The Train Center is worth your time and you'll not only get a great deal on your layout needs, you'll probably end up learning something new too. I know that I always have left the shop having learned something new every time I've been there. I love it!! Be sure to give their pet cat a little love too!! ;-)

It is debilitating. I had to walk around the corner to use a restaurants restroom. This was embarrassing and unnecessary. I understand not letting certain customers use the restroom. It should be the staffs discretion. I asked the cashier if I was disabled in a visible manner would she let me use the restroom. She said yes. But since my disability isn't visible and I appear able bodied I wasn't allowed.
