We were greeted by Jeff and he was an absolute rockstar to not only us but all guests that came to visit while we were there. He was informative and polite throughout the whole time we were there. He shared with us the history of the building and future plans he has for the store, which we look forward to! Additionally, they have a great schedule for all sorts of events for all ages and interests. The store is organized very well and spacious to walk around in. The lighting in here was great and there are several tables and chairs to play card games or board games as well. They have a huge space that was well-ventilated, which I appreciate as several card shops can get really hot. We got two Lorcana boxes and Jeff went ahead and gave us two boosters for buying two boxes. That was absolutely super sweet of him to do and that is why we love supporting locals! And we got some great pulls, including my first Enchanted card so definitely do your shopping here!

They were also running a Magic event while helping us so they are very efficient. The prices were fair too! They have a space that has comics, board games, and other cool geek items from figures, plushies and more. Then they have another dedicated space for playing Magic with plenty of seating and tables as well as a section dedicated on card sleeves and singles. We're glad we stopped by and definitely check them out more often whenever we're in the area. They also have a pretty packed calendar so always something to do or check out.

There will…read morealways be a need for places like this because even though everything is going digital, your pricey sub will sometimes drop media that you think you purchased and "own" and will license it to another service. Plus with MTV news archives shutting down and the Cartoon Network website disappearing overnight, it's a nice reminder that when you have a real copy of an item, the only thing that can take it away from you is a house fire. This place is fun to visit because books that may be out of print or things you might have had on your Amazon list that you forgot about might end up here. That's been the case for three of the books I purchased here. They have a large used DVD selection, so you'll find something you want. As are most independent bookstores, this one is quiet, so they will greet you, but they leave you alone to browse and it's heaven to not have to strike up a conversation with a stranger.
