Imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw what I had been missing all this time!! Truthfully, I thought it was more of a craft store than a book store; but I was completely wrong. There are many, many shelves and aisles of books - much more than I thought there would be. Both "parts" of the store, the books and the craft, are plentiful. Book 'N' Brush have a great selection of all genres of books - adults, teens, kids - and it's already great to have these selections in a local store. Physical space side of things - the aisles are wide, the shelves are deep, book covers are displayed, top sellers are spotlighted - everything is easy to see and the store is easy to navigate. The staff was very friendly with me. Checking in when I walked in and then let me wander and look around without being pushy or making me feel like they were hovering over me. Perfect!! My favorite area is where all the Bibles are. My SIL wanted a New Living Translation with big lettering. Not only did she find one with a giant font, but she found one that was super giant font and it was the same size as a regular Bible. I got a Bible cover with a handle on the spine so you can easily protect and carry your Bible into church. What a fun place to shop!

I was impressed by the special editions they carried and was impressed by their reasonable pricing. My favorite part was seeing all the local authors featured! We have a lot of literary talent in the PNW and it's even better when purchased from a local bookstore. Come when you have plenty of time! I had to rush a bit because I was fitting it in while in the area and I could spend hours here. Each genre is filled with options and there are so, so many. I usually don't go to bookstore, but I thought this place was actually very neat with all the selections that were available on that day. The upstairs is for children's books, but I really had to dig 'round in the different bins for Peppa Pig as the bookstore manager confirmed Bluey is a more popular character right now because I made a comment that Bluey was everywhere and had its own little display section around the store. Anyway, I was able to walk out with one book for myself to read and other books (Peppa Pig and Bluey) for my daughter to read. Oh, this place sells new and gently used books. You can trade in your old books for store credits from what I remember from my conversation with the store manager. It's a neat store to check out books in my opinion as it isn't overwhelmingly huge like Barnes & Noble. It's cute and quaint. I was rather shocked with the foot traffic that the store was receiving on that Friday morning.
