I'm confused as to why this store has 5 stars from other reviews. Yes, I will agree that the staff…read moreis knowledgeable. However, this is the most under staffed place I've ever entered. Not only understaffed, but, the staff never acknowledges anyone. I was in last week, there were six people in line and one employee. He was going into great detail with the person at the counter. The people in line were growing highly irritated, they were talking loudly amongst themselves about how awful it always is in there. Not once did the clerk look up and say something like "Hey everyone, I'm all alone and doing my best. I'll be with you as soon as I can" anything would have been better than nothing at all. One person said "See, he must be used to this because he's acting like he can't even hear us". With zero exaggeration, I've been in this store at least six times and it's been the same every time!! At the price of paint and the volume of business, there's no way they can't afford more help. Maybe they don't realize that if they hired one more person, it could greatly increase their bottom line dollars. I really wish I didn't love their paint! Home Depot is next door and always super fast in their paint Dept....Unfortunately, their paint doesn't compare. Ugh!

I needed to touch up my 13 year old front metal door, but didn't want to paint the whole thing. It…read moreis a beautiful door with leaded glass. I had to gouge a small piece of the painted wood door frame and took it in to see if they could match it, I am so pleased because the young man matched it so perfectly that I only had to touch up the spots. It looks brand new again. Good job!!

I found this store with hopes it would save me time on my way home north instead of going to the…read moreone in south Seattle. I was so right. The person who helped me was also kind and funny and educational. The other store I went to did not seem to care much. I have told many people to go here. He also helped me pick out a better color of white for my kitchen and I love it. While I am glad I am done painting for a while, I will go back here for my painting needs, you should try it too. I do wish they still sold the Divine paint collection.

My wife visited this store about 10 days ago to try to get stain to match our current fence. Guy…read morein the store said he could match it but would need a couple days and would contact us. My wife inquired about exterior latex paints and was told about the distribution supply problem and that we might have to wait on this. No problem. She purchased several gallons of undercoat, a couple brushes etc and left. Since then we've heard NADA from this guy or the store. Today, Saturday the 24th of July, I called to inquire about out order and learned this store is not even open on Saturday, and they don't even have a method to leave a message. WOW a new low in customer service at a time when stores should be busting their chops to deliver. I called the Seattle store and they told me it's a corporate policy to close stores on Saturday if the volume is not there! I could expect this type of penny pinching from a Mom and Pop store (and where ARE those Mom and Pop paint stores anyway?), but not from Rodda, which is owned by Cloverdale Paint of Canada - THE LARGEST PAINT manufacturer in Canada. I contacted regional supervisor Brian Tracy, 425-591-4166, by phone today and since he was "not in" I left a message just inquiring about the Lacey Store and that we would no longer be customers. My advice: shop elsewhere!
