We left with 10 spray cans of a matched color. The color was PERFECT! The quality of the paint was AWESOME and they answered all our (stupid) questions and gave us additional tips for application. Not only understaffed, but, the staff never acknowledges anyone. I was in last week, there were six people in line and one employee. He was going into great detail with the person at the counter. The people in line were growing highly irritated, they were talking loudly amongst themselves about how awful it always is in there. Not once did the clerk look up and say something like "Hey everyone, I'm all alone and doing my best. I'll be with you as soon as I can" anything would have been better than nothing at all. One person said "See, he must be used to this because he's acting like he can't even hear us". With zero exaggeration, I've been in this store at least six times and it's been the same every time!! At the price of paint and the volume of business, there's no way they can't afford more help. Maybe they don't realize that if they hired one more person, it could greatly increase their bottom line dollars. I really wish I didn't love their paint! It cracked during a freeze. I asked the man who answered if they carry a 3/4 inch pvc elbow (slip to male thread) fitting. He wasn't sure and said, "I know we carry a gynormous supply of pvc fittings." I told him I live a good distance away and wanted to make sure they had the part before I drive their. He just responded, "All I know is that we carry a gynormous supply of fittings in the store." I often do shop there even though their prices are usually a little higher than in Longview. I called Lowes and Fergesons Plumbing Supply in Longview. Both stores had no problem check for the part for me. I'm headed to Longview!

It's a 40 minute drive to get to them, we always called before we left and they were never ready for us when we got there. Or shined us on to get us off the phone and then when we showed up acted surprised. Other Sherwin Williams stores go out of their way to make sure you're completely satisfied, this store goes out of its way to bilk you for every last dollar they can and then not warranty their product when things do not go as planned (or promised). They make claims about their products that are untrue just to make the sale (or, more likely, get you to leave - there's lots of sitting to do, I guess) and then when you have an issue they flat out deny the conversation you've had. There are many other places to get the paint and stain product you need. I suggest you keep looking.
