This of course led my husband and I through a sea of nostalgia and the kids watching endless "card pull" videos. This was our first time at Metro, and my 6 year old son was lead by destiny to find the coveted "God pack" or golden Charizard (his words, not mine). While the kids "ohhh'd and ahhh'd" over the cards and played their hand at the claw machines - I asked the guy working for the info on the different packs. He was so patient and sweet to my 5 year old daughter who was a tad too energetic and excited, and the boys who acted as if we were looking at the answer to world peace through a glass case. He was full of knowledge, answered questions about uncommon Pokemon, and let my son pick out which of the Pokemon boxes he felt was "lucky". In a time where my kid has to compete with adults to even get the chance for a Pokemon machine to release a few items... always leaving empty handed because they emptied it out as he stood behind them in line... you made my kids day. Thank you Conner, for making our first trip there so special.

Next level is by far our go to for all things card and some collectable. The owner has always been nice and welcoming along with his staff . The store has everything from mtg , Pokémon, war hammer , toys , deck building and video game collectibles . And every time I have gone in there is small to large groups playing something . The space is organized and well kept, as well as a handful of regulars or TCG players at tables playing. They keep prices pretty fair even on some rarer cards and it's nice to support local stores rather than dealing with the hassle of online card shopping. They also have better stock than other card shops as my boyfriend was looking for specific TCGs and no one else had them until we stopped by here!

Especially in these days with card shortages everywhere, these guys have pulled through. They were still working on their online shop when I went in, but that's ok! My first time walking in I was greeted by the sports card workers, and they politely showed me the side for Pokémon. Amazing!! Boxes and boxes of stocked up ETB's, promo boxes, and tins. It was just like being a kid again! The places was bustling on a Saturday evening, and there were many kids in the shop buying things as well. After a sale, I couldn't help but notice the sales attendant threw in some extra cards in for free! As well as for me once I told them it was my first time coming in! After some recommendations for a new collector, I walked out with a Celebrations ETB (Very hard to find for a decent price nowadays!) and a couple free card storage boxes as well. An amazing store, with an inviting atmosphere for new collectors and players alike!! Will highly recommend this store in the future!

They are still trying to organize the store but my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised by already how well organized everything was and the store is very spacious! Plenty of walking room which was nice as I always am fearful of bumping into anything in retro stores. Additionally, there was a cozy spot with a TV, table and a bench to sit on for maybe future gaming or TV/movie watching as it was there DVDs, VHSes, and video games nearby. There is a sign that lets you know that there are cats in the store but they were very friendly and followed us around the store as we were browsing. The store owner greeted us politely and told us if we had any questions that he would be more than happy to answer them. We didn't have any questions at the time as we just wanted to check out the store and see what they offered as we had never been before. They also support other small businesses which I thought was extremely generous and sweet of them to do! We ended up buying two Lorcana packs which the owner made sure to price fairly in comparison to other card shops or retail stores. Overall a very awesome experience and we hope to come again soon!

They do offer snacks, cup noodles, and a variety of beverages to enjoy while you are there. In addition, they have dice, mats, deck boxes, sleeves, and other TCG accessories that you may need. The prices here are very fair and they also buy cards for a fair deal too. The set up here is nice and they have plenty of room to browse and walk around, they have several long tables with chairs to accommodate those who want to play or host events.
