Yum yum and yum. Fresh, clean and delicious!! Filling and healthy and tasty. Smiling faces, efficient workers and quick service. Perfect for eat in or takeout. Lots of tables inside and clean bathroom. Food options are many and so much variety on your plate. Something for everyone, meat eaters or vegetarians. The falafel was so fresh and warm and crispy outside and soft inside. Cucumber tomato salad was exceptional and freshly made and so delicious. It was very quiet when we came in on Thursday evening around 6. We ordered a falafel bowl which came out hot and ready from the kitchen in about 5 minutes. This was some of the best, fresh falafel and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The bowl was a great mix of fresh cucumber tomato salad mix, warm crunchy falafels and smooth hummus with pita bread. This is a great fresh meal and they give a solid portion. We loved the meal and were very grateful to the staff which seemed like they aren't used to getting such high compliments. Hero's amongst us, Earthly Angels. I wasn't going to write this review since it's not about the food. I'd like to thank the group of Men who stood up to protect my friend and I eating at Daphne's. A one eyed homeless man walked in and circled our table a couple times. His energy was off and within seconds this man's vile behavior was directed towards me. I chucked my phone in my purse ready to swing it to create distance, I kinda blanked out because I'm not sure of the details. As soon as he stepped towards me the whole restaurant of MEN stood up and chased him out. I later learned he's been there before and has caused trouble. Since I was not hurt I don't feel I can make a report, but I do feel strongly that the restaurant should do a No Trespass on this guy for liability reasons. He's definitely elevated his level of engagement with people and someone will eventually get hurt. I won't return here due to this incident , it wasn't his first or last time targeting women. BTW my food was great, but I didn't get to finish it since I was pumped with adrenaline. My fight or flight response probably wasn't normal, and I apologize if I put others in danger. I stopped by late for dinner. It sort of feels like this place is slipping. I had a chicken pita which was okay, kind of light on flavor. I wish I would've taken a picture to show my disappointment. Sorry to start off my review that way but I haven't eaten at Daphne's in years and wouldn't have eaten here if Chicken Maison were open. Sadly, I won't eat here again. The restaurant itself had several dirty tables and trash. The bathroom was also dirty and lacking toilet paper. I ordered 6 spanakopitas and a platter for "6" which consisted of gyro, chicken, hummus and tzatziki by choice: there were other options but this is typically a safe choice. The platter was sloppily put together and the platter had a lot of empty space- meaning the platter was either too big for the amount of food or there wasn't enough food to fill in. I paid over $125 for my order and don't feel like this was a good value. The taste was average and the spanakopita was the only fresh item. Sorry Daphnes.. there are many Mediterranean choices and yours is lacking anything to stand out from the rest. read more

I wasn't going to post a review but after spending $36 and barely being able to eat the food I felt I had to. I had chicken and steak kebab plate. The chicken was not on a kebab it was sliced. I could not chew the steak it was SO hard and had this interesting after taste, I couldn't eat it. I should've taken a picture.. The rice was semi hard, soup and chicken were EH okay and it was just not a pleasant meal. The rest of my family got In and Out and in that moment I regretted not doing the same. The cashier could've been more helpful and nicer. There was a man there who seems nice and offered me the specials after the fact, and asked me to go back, but I will not go back. Wow how things have gone downhill in the last few years! Prices have gone way up but taste and overall food quality has gone WAY DOWN. I ate here two weeks ago and my dinner mate summarily described the food best "tastes like hospital food" - the gyro meat was soft and flavorless. The tzatziki sauce had the consistency of water and equally flavorless. The rice tasted like it was from a microwaveable TV dinner. Such a shame. The food tasted fine. The spanakopita was really greasy which is not authentic but it tasted OK. Those 2 pieces to cost me $8 dollars. The lemon chicken soup tasted pretty good, but I paid seven dollars for this little tiny cup that they called a bowl. The cup and their bowl happen to be the same size, just a different shape. My husband always orders the gyro plate. The place is never full, but never empty. There's always at least 1 or 2 other couples or people there. I have not been at this Daphne's location in a very long time but came here recently for a lunch for a friend. I was a little late to meet up with my friends and when I was on my way, my friend had mentioned via text that they were still waiting for their food. It seemed like were waiting a long time. When I arrived, I was surprised from to hear that the wait for orders to come out was long because the place was not particularly packed. I quickly placed my order of Classic Greek salad. The girl at the counter recommended I get this spicy, which was an extra 79 cents. The meal cost me $10.45. (Kinda pricey for a salad. It seems Daphne's has raised their prices up since last time I was here). The wait for my salad was long. It took 30 minutes to come out! Crazy considering it's a salad. (Even my friend who got a side of hummus and pita was waiting a long time too.) The salad was big. The salad comes with feta cheese, olives, roma tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and grilled chicken. It also came with some whole wheat pitas (you can choose whole wheat or original) and tzatziki sauce. The salad had a good mix of greens and chicken and the chicken was pretty big pieces. The Greek dressing is mixed in and they put a perfect amount. I liked that the salad was not drenched in it. All in all, OK meal. I just wish it wasn't as pricey and that the wait wasn't as long. read more

I had to pretty much draw my order out on a napkin for the worker to understand what a falafel plate is (falafel, hummus, salad, pita, and rice for about 10$). We've been going to this Daphne's for almost 10 years now. It is really good quality and value Greek food at fast food prices. They always have different promotions like street pita Wednesdays or $5 gyro Mondays and they send promotional coupons. I also like their point system that gives you other promotions and discounts. Another bonus is the yelp check-in deal- usually a free dessert which makes our visit there even more pleasant. Lunch time can be a bit busy but evenings are usually quite slow. One recommendation I would have is for them to play some soft music or else the evenings are a bit too quiet there. Some music would be a nice touch to make it more welcoming. read more

I was indecisive about getting Daphne's or Chicken Maison (which is just around the corner from this location). But I decided to give Daphne's a try. I paid about $15.xx for 1 plate combo (tri-tip & chicken kabobs). The lemon chicken soup is terrible!! Super sour! The chicken kabob was semi-raw. The bell peppers tasted old. The pita bread given to me was half the size of 1 small round pita bread. Normally you get at least 3-4 whole pita bread slices per plate over at chicken maison. I asked them for more pita bread and they wanted to charge me a buck and change for the other half of the bread. No thanks! This place is pricey! No lunch specials! And the food quality.. not that great! I'll just stick with Chicken Maison!! Their food is awesome.. just always packed. Daphne's is a small chain of Mediterranean/Greek restaurants. It's not quite fast food but the food is ready for you to get a quick lunch. It was across from where I worked so we went there often when we had a longer break. They have a basic array of Greek salads, chicken and hummus. The Greek Salad is basic but tasty. The hummus is good but pita bread is soft (not my personal preference) & not terribly interesting. They also so have a happy hour special with small dishes of hummus & pita. We would sometimes go there to have a meeting so everyone could nibble. They serve no alcohol so it's not that happy or special of a happy hour-but sometimes close wins out. They do have great ice tea so I don't really mind. It's a decent place to go for a lunch. While the food is good for what it is, it's not especially interesting or what I would call real Greek. The staff always seems nice & helpful. I would give an extra 1/2 star for supporting Yelp with the check in freebie for a cookie baklava! read more

I left out of my hotel on foot in search of some food, wasn't really sure where I would end up. Knew I didn't want any fast food. Stumbled upon Daphne's. Had never had it before, but do enjoy Greek. Ordered the mix n match, double Chicken Kabob skewers. Food took a few minutes, but it was well worth it as it was made fresh. Still hot by the time I got back to the hotel room with my togo order. Rice, mixed veggies, and chicken, were all cooked well. Couldn't be more pleased with this meal. Will def visit a Daphne's in my travels in the future.
