Lost a day from work to set up an afternoon appointment. Communicated my need for a FOB, make,year. Sent photo of FOB. Got a price and turn around time for the work. Showed up at their shop at the exact time of the appointment, only to have Dan show up 30 mins later without an apology. Another 20 mins after, they don't know how the vehicle is started with the FOB. Oh yeah, we can't program it, you have to go to the dealership. Ok. Bye now..and they leave. What in the actual F? I've been meaning to get an extra key and fob made for my sons car for over a year, it was always put off. Now that he's done with army basic and other trainings and at his base he wanted me to drive his car to him ASAP - he just couldn't wait! So I needed to get this done in a rush. Dan was great, super responsive when I contacted him. Key's are made by appointment, he's very flexible, told me to come over immediately when I explained the situation and that I need to get it done on my lunch hour as I was leaving on my road trip right after work. The process was very quick and everything works the way it's supposed to. Prices are more then reasonable considering his accuracy and speed! First and foremost they need to tell people that it's cash only. Nowhere on the website nor Facebook does it say cash only . In fact, the only place that mentions cash only is if you bring your own key/remote to be cut or programmed Second is they need to acknowledge customers when they walk in. I stood there about 10 minutes before anyone said a word to me. when they finally did I had to tell the girl 3 times what I needed..Probably because she had her face buried in her cell phone Keys only NO REMOTES. The office was hot and uncomfortable , they cut me the wrong key...I asked for keys only and They gave me a key remote combo. As I was about to leave I found out they had me confused with another customer who also had a Nissan...totally different model. I got hit with a price that was much higher than expected...part of that was because hey cut the wrong thing, but once rectified ,the price was still very high.I'm guessing they were trying to make up for their loss from the first incorrect cut. While I was initially impressed with Dan's professionalism, ease of getting an appointment and price, that quickly changed. Dan programmed a brand new fob for me, which he did quickly and efficiently. The only problem is, it only worked the day he programmed it and since then the car will not detect the fob for push button start. When I contacted Dan a few days later and explained this to him, all he said was "most likely a bad fob". He made no offer to make this transaction good. I ultimately paid $65 for nothing. He could have offered to program a new fob for free if it was bad (brand new and highly unlikely). Or he could have asked me to bring it back and try to program it again. He offered nothing. Suppose I had him cut a key for my front door and it didn't work? Would he just have said "Oh well, too bad". This is exactly what my $65 transaction amounted to being. Very bad business and Dan won't get my recommendation. read more
