After losing my house keys, I contacted Jefferson Locksmith and within 25 minutes of placing my…read morecall to their dispatch, Russel arrived. I like the fact that he called to tell me he was on his way and the time it would take to get to my house. This was important because a friend offered to drive from a great distance to sit with me until a locksmith arrived but with a short ETA, it wasn't necessary (saved my friend time and gas). Russel was friendly and worked quickly on that rainy evening to replace the lock on my security door. Unfortunately, because the lock was a deadbolt he had to drill through the key hole to remove the entire unit. Although a bit expensive, I'm very happy with the quality of service received from Jefferson Locksmith from the time I placed my call up until the end of the service call and I highly recommend them. If you lose your keys and live near or in the West Philadelphia area, ask for Russel. Thank you.

I called to get a new key made for my cx 9 they came made me a new key but when they left I noticed…read morethat my door would beep after I took my keys out. It was annoying but not a big deal until I realized that I can no longer start my car with the remote start because my car is registering a key inside the ignition. When I called them ( a month later cause I hadn't needed to use my remote start ) he told me it's an old car and it was nothing they had done. Yet the beeping started the day he made my key. So moral of the story is you get what you pay for .He would not take responsibility for it. Just told me my cars old. I should have just spent the extra money and had it done right in the first place.

Adam has a van with all he needs to replace and repair doorknobs and locks. It's not a "shop" in…read morethe traditional sense, it's a mobile lock business. After all, you can't bring your house to him, so he comes to the house. We hired Adam to replace the original front and back doorknob on our Lansdale house with something more attractive, safe, and up-to-date. He had the lockset he needed for the update in the van. I didn't have to buy a lock set at a big box store! And he came out within 24 hours after I called. He's very friendly and knowledgeable. The photo shows the new lockset he installed. A few months later, a difficult contractor didn't return our key after several requests. So it was urgent we replace the barrel of the lock. Adam responded to the urgent nature of my call, moving his appointments around to come that day and replace the lockset barrels, and give me new keys. Phenomenal service at a reasonable price!

After talking to Nelson for several minutes and me asking a bunch of dumb questions, I set up time to get a new set of keys. I also had another set of keys (of course or how else would I drive there) where the buttons literally fell out and we lost them. In about 45 minutes, I got a brand new set of keys and a replacement for the other broken set for at least $60 less than getting a new set from a dealer. If I need keys (or safes - because they have a bunch), I will certainly come back here.
