Then he makes a claim that the tech will give you a call with an estimate in which you can decline...this never happens. When they arrive to your location, you'll find it is $30 to come to your location (Allentown to Allentown, long drive huh?) and $170 for the service. Unbelievably predatory to people in a bad situation. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS.

I was surprised at how difficult it was to locate a local Allentown locksmith (one which was listed as being in Allentown was actually in Nazareth!) and was thrilled to find Bob. He also accepted a personal check. You can bet this guy is now in my mobile address book.

I like the fact that he called to tell me he was on his way and the time it would take to get to my house. This was important because a friend offered to drive from a great distance to sit with me until a locksmith arrived but with a short ETA, it wasn't necessary (saved my friend time and gas). Russel was friendly and worked quickly on that rainy evening to replace the lock on my security door. Unfortunately, because the lock was a deadbolt he had to drill through the key hole to remove the entire unit. Although a bit expensive, I'm very happy with the quality of service received from Jefferson Locksmith from the time I placed my call up until the end of the service call and I highly recommend them. If you lose your keys and live near or in the West Philadelphia area, ask for Russel. Thank you.
