I almost never write bad reviews…read more I urgently needed a car key copied yesterday, and called Affordable Fast Locksmith at 2pm. They told me they'd be there at 6; by 6:45 they were still a no show, and hadn't called, so I called in. The person who answered promised to get ahold of the locksmith, but by 7:20 I still hadn't heard anything - from him or the locksmith. I called back again and he simply told me the locksmith never returned his text - no explanation for why he didn't call me, no apology, just seemed to not at all think this was unusual. Given locksmiths are usually called in emergencies, I definitely would not depend on them again.

The locksmith that was sent to our home spoke absolutely no English and could not understand one word we were saying. On the door leading from the garage into the house he installed ONLY a deadbolt with no doorknob and no handle. I've never seen a door setup that way in my entire 40+ year life. The door now cannot be closed and unlocked at the same time. He did absolutely no cleanup and I had to sweep and pickup all of the work areas myself around all the doors. When I called the next day to complain and ask for another visit (by someone who speaks English), I was told they would call me back but they NEVER did. Take your business somewhere else.

Went to their store after our car key broke. The guy there seemed super confident, saying, "No…read moreproblem!" and immediately charged us $220. We thought we were in good hands. However, after trying for a bit, he said he couldn't make the key and blamed our car. When we brought up the idea of a partial refund, he just pointed to their no-refunds sign that we didn't pay attention to because the dude was so confident. Later, another locksmith easily made the key for us and told us he'd charge just $29 for the service, if he couldn't do it. Honestly, we felt completely scammed by this locksmith.

I walked into Fox Chase, and asked if they could re-key and I would pick it up later in the day. They said I could wait if I wanted.
