I had a laundry list of problems when I went to High End Vine, including being quoted amounts way over what they themselves set as prices when I called their NJ location (basically only lowering stuff from 150-200% to their normal price if I questioned it), having them lie about why this was with nonsensical answers that weren't even well though-out. High End's customer service was terrible, a bunch of games (it's absurd how shady these got) to lock me in there and then keep charging more, not to mention how many things they messed up or dropped the ball on. It was a circus and incredibly stressful. At Philly Car Toyz, who I went to after pulling work from High End, I felt like I could finally relax. They're all AMAZING people. Genuine, decent, fair and the most important part: incredibly knowledgable. I can't stress that last part enough, though all of it was beyond what I've ever experienced, even at the best businesses I've patronized...I mean they bought me lunch while I was waiting ffs. But even though the lunch thing was consistent with how they treated me with everything else, and customer regard is very important, lunch is not why someone is reading this review. The big question is price and expertise. They charged me less than HALF of what High End was going to (and I know High End's charges would've undoubtedly gone up as the job progressed). Everything about the sincerity and decency of Philly Car Toyz would have been enough for me, even if they had average technicians. However, their main technician Mike is insanely knowledgable, practical and has the customer's satisfaction front and center. He puts everyone else's knowledge that I've met in car audio to shame (though his expertise spans so many areas other than audio, and that's what you want). Not to mention he's willing to go above and beyond in terms of the actual workload. From now on, for anything I need related to non-essential car services, I will be going no where else and will recommend them to anyone I can. Even if I didn't have such a terrible experience somewhere else first, I'd still be blown away. Go here, seriously.

When I went to US1, the front guy was very nice, pleasant and I felt comfortable. I asked him if he would charge me again if some go wrong, he said NO. 2 months later my radio stopped touching, so I went back to US1, they checked it to find out it was a bad radio. I asked them if they can take it out and install my factory radio, they did for no charge. As I am waiting I approached the salesperson and asked if he'll charge me installation if I was to buy his radio, the guy said: you already taking a loss, I wouldn't charge u installation. I picked up a Blaupunkt radio, I was given free install and 18 months in store warranty. 2 weeks later, went back and bought kiker speakers to replace my factory, they sounded a lot better as they promised . I asked Mike to remove bose crap and install Polk MM6501 components the front doors, with the tweeters in the sail panels. In addition, I asked that he run power to and install a Precision Power 5 channel amp. I asked that he rewire the existing Bose subwoofers to be powered by the new amp. Flawless work. He did everything I asked at the price quoted, and in the time quoted. Walked me through the sound test and tweaked the amp to my specifications. If you want someone who does the job right, go to Mike. I traveled from Downtown philly, past another car audio shop, and over into NJ because I knew he would deliver. I've used another car audio shop on Vine street in Philly before. Very, very average work, focused mainly on ghetto blaster types. Again, not a bad shop, but not nearly up to par with Audiosonic. They have random techs that do the installs. To contrast, Mike does all the work at Audiosonic. I paid more, and it was worth every penny.

Who knew that trying to get a remote starter for my 2016 E350 Mercedes would be such a challenge…read more After contacting a number of manufacturers who all told me that the product does not exist i talked to the people at Tier One and they found the one company who makes a remote starter for my car. They told me upfront that they needed the car for 3 - 4 days since they had to ship the ignition harness to Chicago to have the spare key installed in the harness. Four days later my car was done so I went to their new location in West Chester to pick it up. They were very good at explaining how the new system worked except it only worked on a part-time basis, sometimes it started and some times it did not. After several phone calls to Chicago it turned out that I need to replace the car battery since mine was 4 years old and too weak to power the system. After replacing my battery the system works perfectly! The service that Tier One provided was top notch, they did exactly what they said they were going to do and at a fair price. So now I can remotely start my car with the key or using by Droid phone. I would recommend these guys to anyone who wants a remote starter put in their car. My next purchase from them will be a sound-deadening system that eliminates road noise.
