After talking to Nelson for several minutes and me asking a bunch of dumb questions, I set up time to get a new set of keys. I also had another set of keys (of course or how else would I drive there) where the buttons literally fell out and we lost them. In about 45 minutes, I got a brand new set of keys and a replacement for the other broken set for at least $60 less than getting a new set from a dealer. If I need keys (or safes - because they have a bunch), I will certainly come back here.

They told me they'd be there at 6; by 6:45 they were still a no show, and hadn't called, so I called in. The person who answered promised to get ahold of the locksmith, but by 7:20 I still hadn't heard anything - from him or the locksmith. I called back again and he simply told me the locksmith never returned his text - no explanation for why he didn't call me, no apology, just seemed to not at all think this was unusual. Given locksmiths are usually called in emergencies, I definitely would not depend on them again.

I walked into Fox Chase, and asked if they could re-key and I would pick it up later in the day. They said I could wait if I wanted. This was important because a friend offered to drive from a great distance to sit with me until a locksmith arrived but with a short ETA, it wasn't necessary (saved my friend time and gas). Russel was friendly and worked quickly on that rainy evening to replace the lock on my security door. Unfortunately, because the lock was a deadbolt he had to drill through the key hole to remove the entire unit. Although a bit expensive, I'm very happy with the quality of service received from Jefferson Locksmith from the time I placed my call up until the end of the service call and I highly recommend them. This company does not play games & try to upsell you something you don't need. Technician arrived & verified that I was the owner (which I appreciate) & got the job done. The same price over the phone that I was given was the same price that i paid. They said they stopped accepting credit cards because people were running scams & doing chargebacks. I get it. You can't please everybody. I was even told by other companies that this smart key can only be done by the dealership (2019 Dodge Charger). Well, that was proven wrong because 215 Car Keys put me back on the road. I was having a conversation w/ the technician, (Demetrius) I think that was he's name while he was programming the key. He stated that the level of people's demeanor in the city (philly) compared to other areas that they service, like where I am in Pipersville is night & day. I was shocked when he said that they completely stopped taking appointments in advanced because of the high cancellation rate of callers in Philly. They only do same day appointments now. He says their company refuse to do business with potential customers if they have a bad attitude over the phone because it may even escalate in person. This company is alright by me. He had taken a call from a repair shop that they also do work for while working on my car (had them on speaker). I was listening to him giving the actual repair shop guy instructions on how to fix a car that they were working on that got towed in. The shop guy got the car running from Demetrius's instructions!! Additionally, the actual key blank was rare at best and the lock action was not replaceable. In short, I could buy a brand new lock much much cheaper than trying to make a key for my lock.
