Quality of work was good, but upcharged me about 80% over the original phone price quoted for additional labor they said needed to be done. Have an old lock on my front door, and the thumb latch suddenly stopped working. Called Vans and explained the issue to the woman who answered the phone. She asked if there were buttons on the side of the door. I looked and there were. I pushed one of them and the thumb latch works again! She saved me time and a service fee! Our rooftop car carrier's key broke off in the lock. I called, they said, "Come right in," and 20 minutes after the call Vans was working on it. Extracting the broken key was tough and it took 45 minutes but they did it with NO appointment and just walk-in service. Brilliant! Van's is great. We used them to change all of our locks when we moved into our new house. The gentleman who came (I do not remember his name- sorry!) was very professional and knowledgable. He walked me through different options & the pros and cons to each (e.g. having a master key v. having one lock keyed differently so we could give a key to give to house cleaner, dog walker, etc.). Their prices were reasonable. They were on time, responsive and super friendly. We used them again recently and were able to schedule a last minute appointment. Not only were the service technicians we had great, but so was the staff who answered the phone.
