Dan and his crew did a fantastic job installing our new White Oak Engineered Hardwood. I strongly recommend Dan's Hardwood Flooring for their Quality of workmanship & Professionalism they brought into our home. I was especially impressed with the miter work on our new baseboards. Phenomenal!

We came across Dan from a roundabout recommendation from a friend. At the point we met him, we didn't have a tile picked out but knew what we wanted. He was able to organize the schedules of the tile removal and the tile installation within a week. First to comment on the tile removal. Our old tile was really ugly, and consisted of around 1200 ft.² of our house. The crew showed up at 6 AM and we're done around 3 PM. They did a ridiculously good job, even to the point where we could have used the same baseboards. They thoroughly sealed the areas where our furniture was, which was basically carpeted. They cleaned up everything and it was very painless for us. The only thing we did is wipe the walls to remove the settled dust and change the air filter's. Second to comment on the tile installation. Chris the installer showed up early in the morning, and worked diligently throughout the day. He was extremely meticulous and was able to put our tile in very efficiently. I would assume our job was a more complex than most, because we have a basement that is under only half of our house. The transitions from foundation to sub floor were done better than I could have expected. There were a lot of cuts as we wanted the tile to run east west throughout our entire house, even though some rooms were structured differently. Lastly to comment on the baseboard installation. The baseboards were put in and sealed very quickly. They are much taller than the previous, and seem to be of great quality. My kids already scuffed them and they wiped right off. Overall I would very highly recommend Dan and his team to handle Tile Removal and/or tile installation for even a complex job.

Mike from Carpet Source patiently walked us through a wide range of carpet samples, taking the time to explain the composition of each option and how well it would hold up over time. We also found Carpet Source pricing to be very reasonable compared to other flooring providers we researched, and Mike provided clear, immediate estimates that helped us make an informed choice. On installation day, Mike and his team arrived right on schedule, and the workmanship was outstanding. The entire project was smooth, efficient, and professional. We are extremely pleased with the results and highly recommend Carpet Source to anyone looking for quality carpet and exceptional installation services.

I needed to extend exiting tile installed 4 years ago by a different company to other parts of my home (master bedroom, walk-in closet and office). I had additional tile for them to use. I got a bid with-in hours and they schedule my install. They showed up on time, were very courteous and talked through any issues they encountered. But my suggestion for any person needing flooring do it before you've moved in because it was a lot of work even with paying for movers through J&B. Vicki was incredibly personable and easy to talk to because our house is small and we only had a couple rooms to carpet. We chose the wool carpet and now I'm in love and don't know what to do about ever moving into another home than not having wool carpet! Worth every penny! One room we did in a different cheaper carpet because we have parrots that use the room... our feathered kids so we opted for a piece from a commercial job they had left over and when we move we will redo the room in the wool. I felt like we got a good deal and signed the contract. Now this is where everything starts. The installers (appeared to be knowledgeable and they were very nice) but the job was so disorganized. They started downstairs and then decided to move upstairs. So day 1 they did LR/DR and Master, Bonus room and 1/2 the hallway. My problem was they were walking (with shoes in and out) all over the new carpet. There was NO attention paid to this at all. It wasn't until day 2 when they said they ran out of carpet and I brought this to the supers attention was anything done about it (oh and the super said "thats a good idea to put down plastic; I'll bring that up in our next meeting". Seems to me after you are told when shopping around "NOT" to walk on your carpet with shoes that it should go without the customer saying anything that plastic is laid down. Oh and he also suggested having the "NEW" carpet cleaned for us. Did you know that every time you clean your carpet it breaks it down? It was when we installed our previous carpet 16 years prior. Now the running out of carpet thing was super annoying. What???? They wanted at first to leave the staircase (full of tack strips) for 2 weeks. Then, it was well we can leave the bedrooms and do the stairs. Very unorganized. And suddenly they find the carpet to complete the job. It was an exhausting day 2 with the installers here well past 8 pm. Day 3: The job gets completed and we are trying to get the house back together. Couldn't find furniture legs anywhere for the sofa and so the installer was kind enough to just pay me out of his pocket to order new ones on Amazon. By now I am so frustrated with the installation process I am questioning why I went with this company. The following Monday, the new manager or whatever she was calls. After going over the entire mess with her she offers me a $250 deduction. Ridiculous! But whatever. The carpet was now done and it does look nice. Now I just have to deal with this company on the "free" first cleaning within this next year. My suggestion is to shop around before using this company. The salesman John was really the only professional.

I put 50% down at that time. It took two days to remove the old flooring and install new. They stayed on day two until the job was done. They found a few complicated issues, like a hidden leak under the old flooring, and flooring under flooring in another small area. The crew in my home exceeded my expectations, were always professional. I'm just glad the job is done now. Removing old flooring was way more dusty than I anticipated, sort of like cutting a sheet of drywall in your living room. If you're going to remove old flooring and have new installed, remove all the electronics and have extra fans on hand as well as new air filters for AC-heat, etc. If you're going to replace bathroom flooring I would suggest having a complete set of toilet tank plumbing and gaskets on hand, just in case. You can always return it un-opened later. The crew is likely to need access to an outdoor garden hose and a place to dump excess flooring level goo. I would recommend this company for your flooring projects.
