Judging as a former New Yorker, this is the closest to New York style pizza that I have found in Williamsburg. I give it a B+. Nice thin crust but skimpy on the cheese. I like my New York pies to be oozing with hot cheese. The slices are smallish too. But the prices are not. For one slice it cost me 5.49. With tax, Over 6 bucks for a slice of plain cheese pizza. Whole pies are $28 with toppings $3.25 each. I can buy a pizza on W83rd and Broadway for less than that. By the time you have ordered a single pizza in this strip mall joint, with a few toppings plus tax you are sitting at around fifty bucks. And on top of that, they have the audacity to solicit tips for carryout. By choice, this is out of my budget for pizza by about 2x. for $50 bucks I can get a steak dinner at Outback or Texas Roadhouse. They have other offerings like wings and pasta. So been there, done that. Won't be back. This is a solid four-star pizza, but I'm docking one star because of the outrageous prices. C'mon guys, it's pizza, not steak. Indoor seating. Plenty of parking. Open 11-7 most days except Thursdays when they close at 3.

The server was nice and attentive, though a bit slow. I think he was fairly new, but his personality made up for his timing. The issue is the prices. I would give this place a B or B- if I were grading it, primarily because the ambience is not that remarkable and the food is not that memorable for what they are charging.
