I'm not real fond of their pizza I've ordered the meat lovers pizza a few times, and it has been so so. But I've recently been introduced to their sub sandwiches, and have found reason to return three times. I like the Italian sub, and Dano's is good. A good size, hefty weight, with enough oil to stay lubricated all the way down. Toasted just right, the sub is a delight. They are busy there, but orders have always been ready in a reasonable time. we went in tonight for dinner. Worst experience we have ever had. 1 waitress working the dining room. To start off she went around took everyone order at 1 time including people that came in after us before she got our order. Finally once the food came it was awful. My fiancé ordered the chicken Alfredo it came out cold and bland and nasty tasting. It tasted like the sauce was bad so we finally got her attention let her know what was wrong she have him a menu to see what else he wanted to eat. 20 min later she came over to see what he wanted at that point we were over it. The couple beside us waited 20 min and she never came back to get there order they had to go to the counter to give the order. They eventually got the pizza they ordered only to find a metal bristle from the grill brush in it. At that point the mange had came to every table except our 2 tables to check on everyone/ Once the waitress was aware of the bristle in the pizza she was apologetic the manager came over said he was sorry and there pizza was free. I would not have paid for that pizza anyway if it was me. He yet came to our table to check on us. So at this point we leave my fiancé still hungry and nobody offered to make it right at all. read more

I am giving this a one start rating because I have given them 3 last chances. We ordered a steak and cheese sub, an Italian sub and an order of wings NO SAUCE. I had the phone on speaker and my husband heard the entire call. 30 Minute your order is ready. We show up 25 minutes and the order is sitting in a carry out pizza delivery bag getting soggy. Instead of sitting on top of the pizza oven... idk my idea is smarter! Anyways.. subs were soggy, lettuce is not fresh and tastes prepackaged. Wings... didn't I say no sauce? Nope they had the hot sauce on them. - nasty! This is the 3rd time our order was nasty! We will not do this again. We are local and until business hire competent workers you will suffer! The best pizza and subs in town. And they deliver, which is unheard of in a small rural area. I've had the steak and cheese sub, ham and cheese and hamburger subs. I live in Richmond so visiting local restaurants are typical for myself so I felt fine visiting this restaurant but I couldn't see reviews due to the service issues. Me and my brother came in after he had gotten a tattoo nearby from a friend. We ordered a 16" pepperoni and sausage pizza, chicken stripes( that comes with fries) and and second side of regular fries. So starting from the top the pizza was very oily and extremely thin. The cheese and toppings were alright but each piece fell apart separating into dough v. cheese and toppings. Overall the pizza was sad. The chicken tenders were "mediocre at best" in my brother's words. The were crunchy as they should be but too much grease also came with it. We had tried their pizza before and enjoyed it so tonight when I was craving Italian we decided to stop by. One of the specials tonight was manacotti and a salad, so that's what I chose. My husband had the Ruben and my some the pizza sub. We also had breadsticks. Breadsticks and sauce were good. The house made ranch was excellent. As soon as they were gone, the food arrived. My manacotti was amazing. Pasta was light, filling was flavorful and sauce was excellent. My husband and son enjoyed their meals as well. We then indulged in Boston Cream Pie, Peanut Butter Pie and Walnut cake. All were homemade and excellent. We will definitely be back soon! read more

We don't normally get food from here but we thought we'd give it a try this weekend. We ordered a pizza with four toppings, mushrooms and cheese sticks. The mushrooms and cheese sticks were fair and the pizza was ok except is was missing one of the four toppings, anchovies. When you are in the mood for anchovies and they aren't there it is just wrong. I called back to see if we were charged for the anchovies and we were. They did ask if we wanted to come back and pick up a side of anchovies but I was already home after driving there and back and that wasn't a good fix (there wasn't a good fix). Now I know why we get our pizza from Rudy's. I was set to give them a good review until they charged me for anchovies and didn't put them on the pizza. read more

July 25-18 Been a long time customer but that all will change tonight. I normally order 3-5 times a month but the food and service I got tonight was terrible. Ordered grilled chicken salad extra ranch 6 buffalo wings and spaghetti dinner(comes with salad) I asked for 4 ranch dressings 2 for big salad 1 for wings n 1 for side salad. Food arrived late(as usual) opened bag wings (12 not 6)had came out container and were laying n bottom of bag n grease and buffalo sauce. Opened other bag and spaghetti was dumped out and laying n bottom of bag. And only one ranch. I understand things happen so I called up there first person said nothing they could do as they were closed and argued saying food couldn't b n bag because was n container and said "don't u have ranch I. Your fridge"was put on hold n u could hear the employees talking crap about my call the whole time.then manager got on phone and was pretty rude and asked what i expected her to do about it I explained I wanted it refunded or fixed and I was told they were closing and they couldn't do anything but give me a credit for the ranch, I told her that was unacceptable and she said I need to take it up with "Gina" but she wasn't there and would try n get her to call me so not only was my order wrong and I over charged I didn't get what I ordered and what I did get I couldn't eat because it was dumped in the bottom of a grocery bag. In such a small town where not really a whole lot of places to eat u would think u would want to take care of your customers or maybe because they r only game n town they don't care about customers bottom line 35.00 down the drain. Update8/7/18 Spoke with Gina (owner) finally and she cared less about entire situation I told her I been trying to get this r solved for almost 2 weeks her response was she is Intitled to a vacation. First of all one can drive right by this place while on highway 33. You would not want to do that though because you will miss out on good food and service. We did not have the pizza on our visit but the cheeseburgers we did have were great. It didn't hurt that they had a nice large TV on football at the time either! read more

My family enjoys the food here my only problem is that while I was there picking up everyone's food I noticed that 3 people cooking in the back were not wearing masks! During Covid I think it's inconsiderate to the community to be cooking and preparing food without masks! If they won't wear the masks I think at the very least they should inform consumers so they are aware of the risk. Any other time they would have gotten a better review. read more
