I had actually ordered pizza from another location for my team. We didn't order drinks so I sent my team next-door to Danny's Pizza just to get sodas, one of their representatives asked, "You're only getting drinks and not pizza?" They then stated our boss (me) ordered pizza somewhere else. The representative at Danny's Pizza was so confident that their pizza was better that they provided me with a small sample. I will say they definitely were better. The quality the texture. The taste was all better that I actually felt bad that I even ordered from a pizza spot down the street. So it's raining and I'm headed home from work and I wanted to order some pizzas so when I got to town they were ready and I was able to call in. When the guy answered the phone I wanted to see if they had any specials instead of answering me he said I could find them online which is useless while I'm driving but I was taken back by the stupidity like I was calling to know how to look online. But I tried looking at the website anyways but by the time I could even got to the site I was almost home already and the thought went through my head that what kind of trash service did I just receive. Owner is friendly, we asked him what time is closing he says 9 but as I'm ordering a pizza at 8:15 I'm being told that they really start shutting down at 8:30 so I should take it to go. Have been to Danny's Pizza almost every time we are in Yucaipa. We traveled from San Diego to pick up my son and have stopped here to eat every time always had great food and above excellent service.. Always have been help by the the two older gentleman but this past Friday 2/17 we stopped at 8pm given their sign said they closed at 9pm when I asked if they are still open the young man behind the counter said yes i can place an order but it had to be a To Go Order..!!! Hi I love the food here but I refuse to support the service I just received. I called and a girl answered, she was super kind. Then when I get in with my son, I say hi the girl at the front looks at me walks away ignoring me. Then she gets my meal out in the coldest delivery barley forces a smile at my son and gives me the check with a tip line?!? No, sorry hun. Here is a tip in a world where you can be anything be kind. I'm always happy with what I choose to eat. being a new person in town I walk in and had a simple side but because how wonderful the service was I knew I had to return. upon returning the wonderful service was consistent. SOOOOOOOO disappointed. I have had Danny's numerous times. Tonight I ordered pepperoni, sausage and cashews. We just ate 3 slices and had zero cashews. I called to let them know and they told me the cashews are under the cheese. I told them I know this as I have had their pizza many times but there was no cashews under the cheese. My entire pizza had 7 cashews at most. I was told that there is someone new running the line tonight. I told them that I wanted them to know I paid for something I didn't get and I am very disappointed. I was then told it won't happen again.... I guess oh well... If anyone is thinking about trying Danny's Pizza.. DONT!!! Ordered pizza, wings, and a salad from them a while back and they gave me bone-in wings rather than boneless (which is what I ordered). Also, the salad wasn't even fresh but I didn't bother mentioning that when I called to tell them my wings were wrong. I threw the wings and salad away. Called them and they gave me a credit for the wings. Ordered pizza and cashed in on my wings this evening and a family member went to pick up and they couldn't find our pizza!!! Wtf?! She waited there for them to make it AGAIN! We ordered the pizza with extra sauce and it's noted on the receipt. It was like the complete opposite... barely any sauce! We called and spoke to 2 RUDE employees who refused to give us a refund and refused to remake our pizza.. for the 3rd time!!! The food is great. My only issue is it seems they look for any reason to close early. The hours online say 9 and we show up at 7:45 only to have the guy flip the sign to closed. I ordered delivery through doordash. Both pizzas were incorrect. Danny's said to report through doordash which I did. Doordash gave me a $13.57 credit on a $81.73 order. Love the flavor of the pizza. BUT larger girl with curly reddish hair and long fake nails is rude and we've witness her wiping her hands on her pants to touch the register, wipes them again then touches the food!!!! Gross!!! This girl never has gloves on!! The other girl there has been nice I think her name might have been emily I heard gross girl calling it and she does wear her gloves and changes them when going from register to back to making pizza. I think I will just from now on not eat there when gross girl with hand prints on her pants and butt is there. Manager needs to watch those cameras and watch her contaminate people's food and take action. I'm sure I'm not the only customer that has seen her do this.
