I was very lucky to see an assortment of their donuts brought to work one day. It was honestly such a hard decision to pick one as they all look so delicious! I ended up getting one of their old-fashioned style donuts, which was delicious and not too sweet. I only wish I had space to have some more. Would love to try there donuts again!

If we were able to give this place 10 stars, we would in a heartbeat. We found this place last year when traveling and we're back in the same area and we had to stop back here at Danny's donuts . The service is friendly, helpful, and very kind and considerate . As soon as you walk in the door, you smell fresh donuts, and you are absolutely in heaven , the selections are incredible. They have plenty of seating inside if you want to grab a coffee or a soda and sit down and enjoy a couple dozen donuts inside you would enjoy yourself. If I was able to do this, I would go in there one morning and try every single donut that they got they are all super fresh, amazingly flavorful and decorated with perfection . The cinnamon roll and the apple fritters are some of the very best I've had in my 60 years of life. If you're in the area or driving down the highway plug the address in and go and support this local business. You will absolutely not be disappointed. We highly recommend Danny's donuts.

Danny's Donuts is a family owned eatery featuring handmade donuts and breakfast sandwiches, but also offering ice cream, smoothies, and coffee. It is located in a nondescript shopping center near Main Street and Jesse Jewell Parkway. There are five locations in Gainesville (2), Flowery Branch (2), and Buford (1). We ordered six dozen donuts (glazed, blueberry cake, maple bacon, apple fritters, cinnacrunch) and a Smoked Sausage Breakfast Burrito. Danny's offers limited no-frills seating. Customer service was solid and my breakfast burrito was ready within an appropriate time frame. All of the donuts were fresh, fluffy, and tasty. I particularly loved the sweet saltiness of the maple bacon. My husband woofed down the apple fritter before I could even ask to taste it. The breakfast burrito is simple - meat, cheese, egg, diced potatoes, tortilla. But it is also delicious and filling. I am in Gainesville periodically for work. I have been told never to visit Gainesville without bringing a box of donuts home. I am also intrigued with their donut and ice cream concoction.

One of the few still standing original donut places with out all the commercialism relating to other crappy donut places. Service is quick and easy because of the huge variety of choices. My two favorites are the maple bacon and the best sour cream. They have two locations, the one downtown is the better of the two. You can order donuts and dine in house for they have a dining room. Nothing extravagant, enough for you to wake up with a cup of coffee and a fresh donut to start your day.

Good service love the donuts and taste of New Orleans Louisiana not to sweet smile in the bag

A doughnut shoe done simply and right. I'm on a road trip. Made this a destination to stay off the main hwys. I am so glad I did. Fantastic doughnuts. I often ask the employee for their favorites, when it will be the only time I will visit. She picked Apple fritter, maple bacon doughnut and taro Boba smoothie. The Apple fritter was mini. I like that. It was a single serve, packed through with apple. One criticism would be it was almost too sweet and too gooey. I'd prefer those issues rather than the opposite, dry. The maple bacon doughnut was a dream. Fluffy inside, firm bit outside. Just enough sweet, salty, maple flavors to cause me to take a bite, then wolf the rest down. Taro smoothie was fun. Not too sweet. Strangely, I'd describe it as the most purple thing I've ever had. The inside is gutted. Not too inviting, with tables missing or turned over. Just the aftermath of Covid. You want a doughnut, this is the place you should go. Period. Forget the rest.

We went at 2:00 pm on a Monday. There were plenty of donuts left to select from! They don't require customers to wear masks, but the lady serving the donuts was wearing one. They have lines on the floor for social distancing. We got a half dozen donuts for about $7, including tax. Here's what we got, in order of my preference: - Apple Fritter - Cinnamon Sugar - Old Fashioned - Bear Claw (cinnamon with apple filling; we didn't like the filling that much) - Chocolate with Chocolate Frosting - Red Velvet The Apple Fritter was definitely the best. We would get the first two donuts again, but we could do without the last four. She gave us four extra donut holes and they were delicious! These are good donuts for the area. Great Apple Fritter and great service!

A local donut spot!! Sweet! I was driving by, minding my business and this place caught my eye. Continued to my destination and said I would stop by on the way back. Rainy day and I honestly didn't want to get out the car again but I'm glad I did! Donuts are their specialty but they sell croissants, coffee and smoothies. You can buy a donut at $0.90 each, half dozen for $4.95 or a dozen for $8.95. I opted for a half dozen and they threw in a couple of extra as a "rainy day special". Pleasant surprise and great appreciated

Friendly local donut shop worth trying if you're in the area. Employees are always welcoming and greet you when you walk in the door. Donuts are made fresh and priced are very reasonable. I enjoyed the glazed donuts - dough is soft and just the right amount of sweet. I've tried the Apple fritter and it was a bit too oily and soggy. Seating is very limited - one or two tables so I suggest ordering to go. I'd come here than the big chain donut shops anytime.

Best donuts around!! They are smaller than Dunkin' Donuts but wayyyyyy better. The first time I bought donuts here was about a year when I was in Gainesville. It was around this time of the year when I found myself back in Gainesville. I made it a point to pick up more donuts here this time. Every flavor was just amazing!! The staff was very friendly and kind. Each donut cost 0.90. Cheap and super yummy!! I wish this place is located in Buckhead :D PS. Donuts were too heavenly, gobbled them all and then realized I forgot to take pics ;D

These are the best donuts in town! The donuts are so soft and with just the right amount of sweetness. The staff were super friendly and welcoming as well. I usually go up to Mall of Georgia for some good donuts but I don't have to do that anymore! These are by far one of the best donuts I've ever tasted and at a great price as well! A whole dozen were only $9 and they even threw in a couple extra for free! My favorites are the Maple Bacon, Cinnamon, and Bear Claw. They're ok, for the area (for NE Georgia). I'm used to the delicious donuts in Chicago. I'm a huge donut person. I often daydream about donuts. The first time I went, I bought 4 different flavors. They were ok. That was about two months ago and I haven't thought to go back since. They kind of taste like dunkin' donuts. I'm glad y'all like it though read more

Being a well traveled coffee and donut shop connoisseur, I have to say that this little hidden donut hole gem is always a favorite. I've literally eaten at local donut shops across the US. And this one ranks right up there. To me, it's all about consistency and value at a local donut shop. This shop always has a nice variety at a good price. Plus, it's just a good donut. This is our Sunday stop before church for a couple donuts and sometimes a breakfast burrito! Bagels are pretty good, too! My husband is a fan of the little chocolate covered, chocolate filled square donut. He'll fight the rest of us for them! I was intrigued by the bacon donut. Oh, Lord! Delicious! Never thought I'd say that, but it's Soooooo good! Little bit of sweet and salty! My kids love anything with sprinkles so Danny's has that covered. Yes! That was my first visceral reaction when I saw a donut place open in Gainesville. Danny's is nestled in the strip of shops behind CVS off of Main Street, next to the cleaners. As most donut shops are, this one opens early and closes by mid afternoon. I was in Gainesville for a few weeks for work and visited here periodically. Every donut I tried was mouth watering, especially one chocolate filled, chocolate glazed chocolate donut with chocolate chip toppings. I definitely got diabetes from that very donut and I have NO RAGRETS. The shop is run by the most friendly people and they have other items for sale as well. The donuts are prepared fresh each morning and I will undoubtedly continue giving Danny's my business in the years to come. read more

Hands down the best coffee and breakfast spot in Gainesville!…read more We've lived in Gainesville for a while and have tried all the new coffee shops that have popped up around the Square recently. While the new spots are fine, we decided to revisit Inman today. In my opinion, they're still the best coffee shop in town. First, the coffee quality is on another level. You can really taste the pride they take in selecting their beans. I ordered the "Fresh Start" latte with coconut milk, and it was easily the best latte I've had in Gainesville. They have the most impressive selection of non-dairy options I've seen. Most places only carry oat or almond, so finding coconut milk was a huge win for me. They also have a massive coffee menu with specialty items I haven't seen elsewhere, like a Breve! My husband got an iced mocha and a panini and absolutely loved both. Second, the food menu is incredible, especially if you have dietary restrictions. I have gluten and dairy sensitivities, and usually, my options are limited. Inman has the biggest gluten-free menu in the area--GF muffins, brownies, and actual GF bread options. I got the avocado toast on gluten-free bread topped with scrambled eggs. The bread was delicious (not cardboard-like at all!), the avocado was fresh, and the eggs were perfect. If you've been distracted by the newer shops, do yourself a favor and go back to Inman. Between the extensive menu, the high-quality coffee, and the dietary options, they are beating the competition by a mile.

After nearly a decade I gave Inman another shot. It's a permanent write off at this point…read more After seeing the sign on the register asking for patience because the food is served fresh it took 20-30 minutes to get this avocado toast (with an up charge for that pre-cooked bacon, on that pre-packaged guac) with another 10 minutes to get a latte I ordered was all the sign I needed that this is my last visit. The only patience needed to prepare this food order was the time the toaster needed to do its job and that bread maybe experienced heat for 30 seconds. The trainee at the register was extremely pleasant but should not be left to manage the register, and juggling drinks while two more experienced employees appeared to have absolutely no sense of purpose or urgency. The onboarding program is sink or swim. The staff deserves better than that. I kept my drink but asked for a refund on the meal. It tasted like the effort put into making it...nothing.

Can't believe how great these guys treat us. It's rare to go somewhere and be greeted like friends then also receive a quality product. The donuts are all made fresh and therefore have the most amazing texture and taste. My wife likes their Boba Tea. If you're buying bulk donuts for your work or friends definitely buy them here. This donut shop needs a little better management. We came at 6:30 am in the morning to pick up donuts for my son's class at school and they were already sold out of their most popular donut the original glazed which wouldn't be an issue if they restocked throughout the day but I have read and heard they don't refill once an item is sold out. The friendly faces and the warm smiles that greet you are truly one of a kind. I went there for breakfast with my sister, and the homemade apple danish was absolutely delicious. They also have a coffee kiosk area, where you can add your own cream and sugar. We were able to sit inside for as long as we wanted, and our server, Stephanie, came over to make sure that my coffee was hot and asked if I wanted a refresher. You have to understand that this is not a full restaurant, but a beautiful bakery that serves breakfast and lunch items for Pick-Up or eat in as they have tables available, but it is not a large place.
