I found this place on Yelp and saw some pretty decent reviews. I'm a nail tech myself but couldn't get in with my usual independent techs so last minute and definitely have no energy to do my nails myself since I'm 4 days overdue and can go into labor at any moment lol. I texted the number to schedule an appt for me and my little sister for acrylic full sets and luckily got an appt the same day. They were quick to respond and friendly when we arrived. Being a nail tech myself, I'm definitely picky when it comes to my nails. I usually get XL nails but decided to go for a short/medium set since I'll have a baby soon. I went with a simple milky white and tapered square shape. I don't know who my technician was, but she was quick and got my nails done in under an hour. The shaping is pretty good and she didn't file the crap out of my nail bed which is always a plus. My nails aren't too bumpy either and have a decent apex for strength. I don't expect much from nail salons but I can't really complain about this one and might even come back in the future if i need a set done last minute. As for the salon itself, overall it is clean. The desks could be a little more clean and they could work on using new filing bands for each client, but overall it is pretty standard for nail salons and not much to complain about. The prices are also extremely affordable. I paid $50 for my set and my sister paid $75 for a removal + ombré full set. I'd definitely recommend coming here. read more

I love these nails, lily did such a good job on them. Every time lily does my nails, they always stay on for so long. This was from 11/19-12-29. read more

I stopped in here unexpectedly it was the closest shop near my parents house. I was not disappointed. The lady who did my nails took her time and scrubbed my feet and gave a good massage. I was very happy with the pedi and the manicure was also excellent. I recommended them to several people already.. i will be returning soon! read more

Daniel Nail Spa - Leopard nails by lily - Nail Salons Near Me - Menifee, California

Based on the reviews, I thought I would give the salon a try. I found making the appointment challenging because you can't speak to a person to schedule an appointment. You have to make multiple negotiations via text, and once confirmed you can expect a warning that if you are late, no show, etc. you will never be able to make an appointment there again (that won't be a worry for me). When I arrived at the salon, I was underwhelmed. It was dark and dated, and the owner/manager was rather curt with guests. What really called me to write the review however was the filth of the salon. If I hadn't been pressed for time, I would have left. While the nail service was fine, I will not be going back. If the employees do not care enough to keep their surroundings clean, how do I know that the utensils and equipment are actually being sterilized between patrons and that I won't leave with a nail infection??? read more

I got the express pedicure and it was lovely! Helen did my pedicure and she did a great job! I didn't know what color I wanted and Helen gave me a gorgeous red orange perfect for fall! The vibe in the shop is immaculate the music was very modern and listener friendly. Helen was very friendly and conversational. Forgive me if I don't attach a photo of my toes but I can't wait to go back for an acrylic set! read more

I got a white and black ombré with a black bead accent nail. I'm always hésitent to do ombre because there is a chance it will come out terrible but this is by far the best ombré I've ever received. She (Lily?) used an actual airbrush gun! The shape is exactly what I asked for (square round, which is different than square but not coffin). They have a huge selection of colors, gels, dips, chrome, and decals. They are quick and pay attention to detail. They also check with you to see if you like the shape or color before moving on. Highly recommend. read more

Love this place. Went looking for a new salon after my girl moved away and tried two others before finding Daniels Nail Spa. Lily and Daniel run a very nice place with the emphasis on customers, especially those on time and who make appointments. It's nice to be seated immediately and not have to spend the morning waiting as many other places require. My requirements for a nail salon are: staff that i can communicate with, good work that doesn't leave your hands hurting for two days, and don't lift or break before the next appt. Work is done quickly and efficiently so i can get out and on with my day on time. Plus i love designs and acrylics. This place checks all the boxes. Daniel is great to work with, my nails have never looked better. Jenny does a great pedicure, and even better at foot massage. Glad i found Daniel's. read more

I finally found THEEE right nail salon for me! I moved out here 3 years ago and had been searching for the right spot that I could call "home." I tried 3 different spots in the area, Esta being one of them, which is a salon just down the street from me. Not happy with the quality they offer!!! Quality and cleanliness is everything when it comes to pampering yourself, and Daniel's Nail Salon offered A1 services!! I was lucky enough to walk in to THIS one at the right time, just after they received a cancellation. Daniel, the owner, welcomed me as a walk-in. Waited about 15-20 mins. But it was definitely worth the wait. The artists were creative, friendly, patient and personable! And each time a client got up, the staff were spraying and sanitizing those seats as courtesy for the incoming clients, which obviously says a lot about the staff! They care about their clients!! A+++ I got to know both Lily and Peter, who were both great and on point. They do great work and both did a wonderful job making me feel at home. I'll definitely be a returning client. One more thing I will say, they do such a great job, they are always booked! Do make an appt!! It'll be worth it!! read more

Would never go to this salon ever again. Had an appointment for me and my husband yet we waited 2o minutes and still ignored. I guess we were walk-in's. None of the technicians were near being done with their clients so we knew we'd have a long wait. Yet I was texted by the owner in BOLD PRINT prior to my visit that I needed to give NOTICE ASAP if I couldn't come. Well I came and went. Daniel wrote me and compared my visit to a doctors appointment where I would have to wait also. So he's comparing himself to a doctor!!! The place seemed dirty and the music was loud and hard. Go somewhere else. There are too many salons worthy of your time and $. They don't deserve the one star Yelp forced me to give. read more

Customer service isn't what it use to be. I received service from Peter who was very nice. I asked for pink & white ombré. Photo uploaded is finished product. Upon arriving home, I realized that the colors were off and my nails didn't come out the way I'd liked. I sent a text to the customer service phone, explaining my dissatisfaction. I asked if there was availability to return the next day for a polish change. I was told that service would be $25+ I was definitely appalled by this, being that I expressed dissatisfaction with the service. I was under the impression that a color change would be provided as a courtesy, or even at a discounted rate. My full set was $75, entirely too much money to not be happy. I ended up polishing my own nails. I wouldn't recommend this location, not very clean and dust everywhere. read more

To be fair the last review posted by Misti is false the gentleman in the front did NOT tell her to drive back. He did ask her if she could come back tomorrow with appointment and she explain she had driven already to get here. I was referred to Daniel Nail Spa by a friend 2 years ago before the pandemic hit. It was the best referral to get. Place is always clean. All staff members are friendly and they give you refreshments who can beat that?! I go to Peter for my nails. However, Lily & Daniel are also amazing. I love that I can show Peter a pic of what I want & he tells me if he can or cannot do it. Two years later I have not found a design he has not been able to do. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. Just know they're very busy & the wait to get an appointment is worth it. Whatcha waiting for call them & book your next Manicure, Pedicure or Full set. Heck they will even do a fill or fix someone's else bad work!! read more

0 stars. Unprofessional with poor time management. I came at the time I was told to come but I waited for 30 mins until I realized the lady was nowhere near being done with the current client, so I decided to leave instead. I txted her after and she gave me a lame excuse saying that the client before me was 20 mins late. Don't waste people's time. read more

So update! They reached out to me a couple of days after and offered to fix them. I went back in and I was expecting her to just file them down and lay the acrylic again. Instead she completely took them off and put a new set. She was really nice about it. She asked me throughout the whole thing, how they were looking. The shape was better and the they looked completely better than the first time. If you make an appointment here make sure you ask for Lily! read more

LOVE this nail salon. I am new to the area and this is the first nail salon I tried out. I hit the jackpot. Peter has done my acrylic nails twice. His work is clean and consistent. I really like that there isn't any acrylic build up under or on the side of the nails. He also creates a beautiful curve. Everyone at the salon is friendly and very accommodating. Hello Daniel, Just wanted you to know how i feel about your place. Its my third time there and i am so happy having gone there. I have had bad experinces and stopped going to get my pedi, but your place is everything. I dont feel rushed, the massages they give are so relaxing, not once have i been hurt, the ladies that have done my pedis are awesome, the place is cozy and your cooking shows and music are very entertaining. Hope you keep it like this and you will have me as a customer for a while. Again thank you for the hospitality keep up the good work. read more

Very mixed feelings about this place! It was my first time here. Pros: took me in right away, was in and out for a mani/pedi fairly quickly (within 1 hr to 1.5 hrs), and they replicated the color of the nails in the pic I showed them pretty nicely. Cons: first time in my entire life my hands weren't soaked in water and my cuticles weren't pushed back prior to the manicure, and while I don't miss the discomfort, I definitely miss how much cleaner the manicure looks with pushed back cuticles. Also, it was my first time getting dip, and getting the crusty edges off after the manicure with oil and water took a bit of time. I would've appreciated a bit more guidance as I did tell them it was my first time getting dip. Overall, I do like the look the look of my nails and the staff was fairly friendly, but I wish my $100 would've taken me further than it did. read more
