Finally got to give this place a try & wasnt disappointed! Picked up food to go.... brisket & bacon Empinatas - awesome, full of flavor, crispy outside, garlic parm wings - very good, nice size & flavor, mac & cheese was nice a creamy, not kraft mack & cheese. also had the ribs. menu says the are fall off the bone..... they were! everything was excellent, and had leftovers for next day. i only care about the food but i want to also say that from the girl on phone to the woman who helped me inside the staff was so friendly & helpful. cool looking place inside as well. we will b back and advise others to give it a try if u like BBQ! read more

Been here a few times. Service is friendly. Food is good for the value. The chips they give you when you sit down is the best part lol. The pretzel appetizer is great. I've had different Meats. All are good but ask them to go light on the bbq sauce. My wife liked the beyond burger. My kids love the shakes. Ask them to add chocolate chips for the best experience to the basic shakes (they usually don't charge extra either which is nice.) read more

We went to Dangs Wednesday night. Our waitress was so sweet and helpful. Wine was buy one get one free, so $7 for 2 glasses. Orders of wings were buy one order, get one free. They have specials every night. Our food came out quickly. We ordered brisket and pulled pork with 2 sides each and corn bread. Both were perfect. Prices are around $20 for an entree. I placed an order for Mother's Day. I was placed on hold and then hung up on. After calling back I was told there were no more ribs or half chicken. When I then asked for the roasted turkey, I was told oh yea we are out of that too. I ended up ordering pulled pork, brisket and sausage. With mac and cheese, fries, and beans as sides. Horrible taste, the pulled pork was not pulled and had sauce just poured on top. My husband who is not a picky eater at all did not like it. My son didn't even eat the Mac and cheese. My side serving of mac and cheese was not a proper serving. The meat was very tough and chewy and lacked any seasoning. The mac and cheese lacked enough cheese and noodle. I am not sure if we will give this restaurant a chance once they are back open for dining. Ordered take out on Sunday. Food was ready very quickly from initial call. When I went in to pick up the order the inside was very nice. I was greeted right away and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. They went through all of the various sauces available and were generous with all of them. The food was excellent. We had the chicken and ribs, The Bar-B-Cubano sandwich which was really good and the Smokehouse Tacos. Everything was very flavorful and the portions were good. Delivery of a half rack of ribs, an order of boneless wings and brisket & bacon empanadas were tasty but cold on arrival and required reheating. This having been said the food was better than average BBQ and the variety on the menu is impressive, especially against the backdrop of the pandemic. Wish they would offer a build your own burger, too. Will also have to try their burnt ends. Which means to say I'll be back, or at least GrubHub will on my behalf until I get vaccinated and can do more than takeout. Our server Maureen was horrible. She was extremely rude and she had a huge attitude for absolutely no reason. The food was alright but kind of expensive. I would have came back but I can't get over how disturbed I am about our server. I will not be coming back due to her lack of care for her customers. I also saw her fighting with another employee. Dang this place is so dang good!!! Upon walking in we where greeted by a very friendly staff and seated quickly. The waiter helped us a lot with what to order and the food came out rather quickly. Everything was cooked perfectly with tons of smoke flavor in everything especially the beans. The brisket was so tender it just melts in your mouth. The new brunch here is DELISH. The best of both worlds-- boozy brunch with comfort food. I tried the brisket scramble and red white and blue pancakes-- both just as good as they sound! Dang BBQ restaurant, called and spoke with Abraham, a very pleasant fellow who gave clear indepth friendly information that I requested. I got directions, and food suggestions and ordered. The place is across from an old fashioned Chase bank building, on the right side, not far down from the 135 exit, just where he said. It was a timely drive, so food was not made until I got there. I went inside to the door 6 feet away from the counter. He was taking phone calls and orders and at one point multitasking with a phone in each hand. I ordered a Creamsicle shake which actually was quite a good taste, but took a really long time to be made. It did appear the other 2 men I saw there working in and out behind the scenes, were hard at work as well. The pulled pork plate with bbq sauce along with the brisket plate both tasted good. We've had take out from here several times but just recently catered our daughters'birthday party from here and people cannot stop talking about how good the food was! We got a package which included ribs, pulled chicken, brisket, Mac and cheese, salad, cold salads, beans... The Mac and cheese is the only thing I will say wasn't my favorite but once you mix some of the brisket into it ::chef's kiss:: ... Yum! We had a 200 dollar order and they did nothing to accommodate their mistake, besides a seamless refund. I gave this place 4,stars for the potential. Based on our meal Dang really deserves a 3.27. I asked where they smoke their meats and got a non-answer so I'm guessing it's their Islip location. I'm surmising they simply reheat their BBQ here. The excellent: pulled pork, smoked 1/2 chicken, smoked then fried chicken wings, smoked green beans, St Louis ribs. Very good selection of beers on tap. Above average: baked beans, chipotle bbq sauce Average: sausage The barely average: corn bread (bland), coleslaw (needed seasoning), Alabama white sauce The ugly: brisket was reheated to the point of almost dehydration. While it had a nice smoke ring and flavor it was dry, tough and chewy. The fun: tasty designer milkshakes. Service: was very good. However all of us received the wrong sauces in our doggie bags. Nobody got what they requested. Would I given them another chance? Yes especially for the pork and chicken items. However, I'd ask to see the brisket first. read more

Got take out because of the corona virus. Everything was packaged nicely and neatly. Loved that they gave us plenty of different sauces to try! The food was excellent. We had the brisket empanadas and dry rub wings to start. Both very good! I had the pulled chicken with Mac n cheese and French fries and it was perfection. Went with the family for lunch on a Sunday. At about 1pm they were a little busy and the place started filling up so service started slowing down. We had chopped brisket, Mac and cheese, cole slaw and pulled pork sandwich. Corn bread was good too. They give you some chips to try out the sauces they have of the table. GET THE GRILLED WINGS- it's what I tell everyone! The most delicious wings I've ever eaten with plenty of sauce options. The buffalo sauce along with their bourbon bacon sauce is amazing. Their brisket and other meats are fantastic and sauce options are awesome too! The only thing that was a little disappointing was the Mac and cheese, but I'm hoping I caught them on a bad day and the next time I eat there it's better. It appeared to be a cheese powder, with some melted cheese- but it's not worth a deduction of a star because everything else is great. I was certainly not disappointed and couldn't be happier to have a place like this in town. Great portion sizes ensure you won't leave hungry, and an original menu will keep me coming back to try more. The garbage skillet was a beast of a dish, and the Bacon BBQ Cheese fries were amazing! In a whim I stopped at this beautifully rustic BBQ joint in Seaford with my 5 kids this morning for lunch. Greeted by a friendly hostess we were seated in the middle of the dining room. I really was excited to try this place but as other reviews stated the service is horrible. It took us nearly an hour to get food. This is bbq and there's no reason a sandwich /burrito wrap or even skillet with bbq meat that would haVe already been prepared should take that long. On top of that, a simple old fashioned with bbq sauce to kick it up shouldn't take a half hour. The waiter and hostess apologized for the service but it's very frustrating when every table near you is also upset and constantly looking around for answers to the slow service. I liked the food but the icing on the cake was it was the food was cold when it got there. Do not do business with this company! We had an event booked with them and we're given an estimated per person price. We gave them an $800 deposit upon request. 2 weeks prior to the event we spoke with Taryn and updated the number of people were attending and the price was adjusted. Week up until the event they sent us an invoice charging us more than double the original per person price. We communicated the discrepancy and were told, "well Taryn doesn't work here anymore so whatever she told you we won't honor it". They arrogantly told us we either pay what they're charging or we lose the deposit and they are not showing up. Poor customer service and greedy greedy people. read more

New menu/new prices/changes to recipes. We won't be back. Sorry to say! We spoke to the manager and he did offer up some explanations but the food was just disappointing. We requested the corn bread, salads, and Mac and Cheese be brought out first. Before we had time to eat the salad the entrees and Mac and Cheese arrived. The Mac and Cheese is no longer served with a pretzel crust. According to the manager, people no longer like the pretzel crust. He did offer to add panko. The Shrimp and Grits aren't made with peppers and onions anymore, but the manager told us we can order it that way in the future. The Chicken Finger Basket comes with Fries and Texas Toast, Seems odd to include two pieces of bread with Chicken Fingers, why no corn bread? The fries were soggy and the ketchup on the table tasted bad. When we asked where the coleslaw was, the waitress brought some., Unfortunately, it tasted spoiled and was inedible. The one meat platter was served on a plastic plate and was cold. The corn bread was sitting in-the juice from the meat and was too mushy to eat. I told the waitress and she brought me a new order of brisket in a cast iron dish, which was hot. I feel badly leaving such a harsh review for a neighborhood business but for the $120.00 that meal cost, we could definitely find a better restaurant to eat at. read more
