Such a cute shop with coffee and tea options plus the bonus of a plant store too! There were swinging chairs and the cutest decor. There was also a market outside when we went.
Some coffee shops announce themselves the moment you walk in. Dandy Lion does it quietly -- a nondescript exterior on 38th Ave in Park Hill that gives way, once you're through the door, to something genuinely unexpected: hanging swing seats, walls of living plants, morning light filtering through greenery, and the smell of something floral already in the air. Owners Duc Huynh and his wife Dominique moved the concept to Park Hill in 2021 , and what they built here is hard to categorize in the best way. It's a craft coffee shop and boutique plant store in one -- and somehow both sides of that equation feel equally intentional rather than one being an afterthought. The menu leans into lavender lattes, Vietnamese iced coffee, and chai, alongside croissants and breakfast burritos -- a lineup that reflects the shop's AAPI-owned roots and a clear point of view on what coffee can be. The Vietnamese iced coffee in particular earns its reputation: rich, layered, and grounding in a way that a standard cold brew just isn't. The lavender latte is a regular on people's standing orders for good reason. The seating situation is worth noting -- swing chairs and limited spots mean arriving early on weekends pays off. Street parking is the move. Best for solo mornings, slow catch-ups with a friend, or anyone who wants to leave with a new plant and a drink they'll be thinking about on the drive home. Open daily 8am-3pm -- get there before the rush.
Food: I highly recommended Kyoto iced coffee for non calorie, fruity, lavender, butter scotch & pumpkin spice latte for coffee choices. Pastry I recommended Vietnamese pork puff & Parmesan black pepper croissant. Service: Pick a table (I love the swing seat), order at the counter, paid & they will call when your coffee is ready. Atmosphere: Green house sanctuary(with a lot of cute plants & artsy cute curated gifts for sale & their cute merch), Lovely swing chairs & all perfectionist for botanical Hobo like me. Not included all their monthly sound bath & cool pop up activities. Sum up: So far to my personal experiences. I would give 6 stars if I could for Dandy lion. Only downside I can think of is the sometime challenge to find their street parking( Bc this coffee shop is so busy in the Morning) I love their latte art & coffee& iced match(on milky side) & pastries are to perfection. If you love arts, plants, terrarium, green house, mellow Spotify & clean bathroom with no annoying code to get in. This is absolutely the spot for you. Lives in CoS, but I came here every time I visited Denver. It is easy to falling in love with Dandy Lion :)
Finally found an excuse to check out Dandy Lion after it being on my list for a hot minute - what a gem! Check out the attached pictures as my description won't do the space justice. I will say this though: swings. The location itself feels a bit barren, but it is more than made up for inside. One of the more adorable internal setups for a coffeeshop I've come across - and I check out a lot of coffeeshops. Am I bias because I'm also a plant witch? Perhaps. But still. I wasn't hungry so can't speak for any of the food items, though the pastries looked good and I recognized them as coming from a local bakery. Guava bear claw seemed particularly interesting. I tend to gravitate towards seasonal beverages and this was no exception. Went with an iced Hot Honey Latte and although it wasn't as true to flavor as I was expecting, was still tasty. Liked that they had macadamia nut milk as one of their options. Super glad I finally made it here and am looking forward to a return visit!
I absolutely adore this place! It's my favorite coffee spot / plant store. Service is fantastic, drinks always taste great, and I always end up leaving with something (plant or nic-Mac)! I'm pretty sure most of my plants are from here.
Absolutely loved Dandy Lion Coffee -- it's such a vibe! This place is equal parts cozy café and plant-filled haven, and it instantly feels like a local gem. There are swings, a greenhouse-style corner, and tons of plants everywhere. It's basically heaven for a plant person like me. I got the cheese and pepper croissant, which was perfectly buttery and flaky, and paired it with one of their coffees which was smooth, balanced, and beautifully made. I also tried the biscotti, which was crisp, flavorful, and perfect for dunking. Everything tasted fresh and intentional. Beyond the food and drinks, there's so much character here -- they sell stickers, local goods, and even moss balls, which I loved. It's the kind of spot you come in for coffee and end up staying just to soak up the space (and maybe buy a plant or two). Definitely one of my new favorite cafés in Denver -- charming, creative, and full of life.
One of my favorite coffee shops ever!! Great ambiance and fantastic place to hang out. Tables and a few swings and plants galore. They even have a small little greenhouse inside. The coffee is super delicious as well, also some of the best I've had! They also sell bonfire burritos. Seating can be limited on a busy weekend day.
Had the Pistachio mocha cold brew which was delicious! First time ordering food here and had the sesame seed bagel toasted with chive cream cheese which was delicious and seems to be made fresh! Will be trying more pastries from the menu! Great vibes and staff as always. Brought a friend with me this time and she enjoyed it as well. She had the Vietnamese Pork Pie which was heated up and looked delicious.
Exceptional collection of both conventional and unusual house plants, crystals, and chachkis - some at a price. The café offered a comp beverage (sparkling lavender lemonade) and we convened in a lovely appointed circle for a spiritual healing session but it was not my jam personally, and there are definitely opportunities for growth and refinement in that experience, but its all new, so I'm confident that offering will improve in time! Check it out.
Such a hidden gem- def don't expect it to be there. So cute inside, like a garden shop! Some fun coffee drinks , great place to work . Bonfire burritos and pastries!
Cute cafe that offers various drinks, food and plants! I've seen this place on IG a lot and I'm happy it lived up to expectations. I got 2 lattes with macadamia milk and 2 plants. Recommend stopping by!
Dandy Lion Coffee is such a cute coffee shop in the suburbs of Denver! It's located sort of in the middle of what feels like a neighborhood, not many other businesses located around it so it sort of just appears out of nowhere and gives it a feel of a hidden gem! Inside, it's gorgeously decorated with tons of different kinds of seating - tables and chairs, couches, even swings! Almost one entire half of the shop is filled with really cute home goods and shelves of plants for you to peruse and purchase! I got a Thai iced tea when I was here and it was delicious and strong! This coffee shop isn't huge and the tables they do have are a bit small, but my friend and I were able to cowork from here for an hour or two on their wifi and it was just such a nice vibe! Dog friendly, great service, and great products!
Coffee AND plants?! I'm in heaven! Dandy Lion is a wonderful new addition to the Denver coffee scene. Skilled baristas and good quality espresso. Not to mention they have macadamia milk!! Lots of delicious bakery items. (I'd love to see some allergy friendly choices too.) The coffee shop has lots of seating, including some fun swing seats. The coffee shop is also a plant nursery, with a cute little greenhouse in the store itself. Lots of unique specimens, which they propagate on the premises. Love this place! read more

This is probably one of the most cute and unique little coffee and tea place ever that I've been too. So glad I had a date that allowed us to meet here! You can find parking on the streets. Place is right across from residential homes. You would never guess there would be a place tucked in the area, but it exists! Great location. As time passed, the place was hoppin. The place is small. Inside, they have plants and little things you can buy off to one side of the shop. Cute cards and plant decorations too. The table set up are cute too. There are swings that act as a chair to some tables. They have a good enough menu for coffee and tea. They do have a few pastries. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I got some hot green tea and my date got the iced coffee. There were no complaints except to empty our bladders from drinking so much! Lol. Staff was nice and courteous. A great little place for dates or just to enjoy coffee and tea. I am so glad I got to check this place out. read more
This is such a cute coffee shop. If I was a local, this would definitely be my go-to. The coffee is great but the atmosphere is better. The lavender latte and Thai tea were both perfect. I love the books and art you can look at. Also the plants make such a nice space. Don't forget to go inside the greens house! read more

Today I finally got the chance to check out, Dandy Lion. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I snagged one of their Thai Iced Teas, with pumpkin foam, and it was touch sweet- but in all the right ways! I also snagged some sweet cards and plant food. I can not wait to go back again! PS, if you think you're lost, you're likely not. The spot is well off the beaten path. It's worth it. read more

Pretty packed even less than an hour before close. I love the plants and indoor greenhouse. Typical coffeehouse smooth, relaxed indie playlist is also a vibe. I thought I'd like my Vietnamese cold brew a little less sweet, so I asked the barista for half the condensed milk. He insisted I try the regular recipe first (it did end up being too sweet), but he adjusted the recipe after I reviewed the original. Overall, a lovely little shop. read more

I checked out several coffee shops while in Denver and this one was by far the most aesthetically pleasing and instagrammable spot. A coffee shop and a plant nursery/botanical paradise, this place is a must-visit. They also have swings hanging from the ceilings where customers can sit and enjoy their coffee. I got their famous lavender latte, which was delicious! read more

Oh my goodness, what a gem! My son and I walked over to the new coffee shop in the neighborhood and I was so so happy we did. Slinging local beans, this space has an industrial but warm vibe due to the greenery and plant shop inside. Beautiful latte art, and a cozy indoor space with swings as well as a toasty fireplace outdoor space. They also had a baby high chair available and were super friendly to my little one. Thanks for the beautiful visit! read more

Love this cute coffee shop! The staff was super sweet and their food and drinks are affordable! It also doubles as a plant shop and has a ton of cute plants for sale! The only thing is it is a little small so if you come on a busy day there may not be room but I was able to find space to work read more

Dominique and Duck are the imaginatives behind Dandy Lion Coffee (and Plants!) They are cutely a married couple who opened the business 3 years ago (in another spot, this location is new). They have a great assortment of plants and INCREDIBLE NITRO COLD BREW. I am one of those high maintenance coffee orders who asked for oat milk and simple syrup in their drinks... But they were happy enough to accommodate me! The space feels incredible and there are plenty of seeds to enjoy the vibe. I can't wait to bring dates and friends here! So excited to have found this spot!! read more

I'm in love. I drove 31 minutes to get to this coffee/plant store and I was more than happy I did. I got a lavender tea and vegetarian breakfast burrito to have while I looked around. I ended up buying 2 plants, 4 moss balls, 2 moss poles and a jasmine tea to go. The prices are amazing for the plants and the plant supplies. I will definitely be driving back and time I have a day off work to sit and enjoy the ambiance. 10/10 recommend to a friend! read more

What a fabulous find! The surrounding area almost made me pass over it. So homey inside from the plant collection to geodes, cards, and other table toppers you are sure to find some great keepsakes here. Love the seating from wooden swings, chairs, and benches it is very inviting and spacious. Lastly I have to mention their sign on the wall (separate from the drink and bakery list) - it rotates to inform customers what song is playing on Spotify, the drink specials, or a great quote they have on hand! read more

This coffee + plant shop is amazing! You need to get their chai tea and just try everything on their menu. It is also the cutest atmosphere and you just feel at home. There are plants everywhere which makes for great aesthetic, but if you are a plant lover like me, you will absolutely love this place. You can purchase plants and other cool nic nacs. You have to sit on the swings they have as well, it was truly an experience! Go check it it, you won't regret it. read more
