Speaking of partners, I think the studio has a great way of making sure everyone rotates and spends time dancing with a partner even though there is typically a shortage of guys. The owner is more concerned about making money instead of caring about your child's wellbeing. There was an instance at an event where the kids were performing and one of the kids went missing. Instead of owning up to it and learning from it, the owner just made excuses. When you sign up for competition dance, the owner stressed unity and teamwork. But when it came down to competition time, she splits up the group if she doesn't think the kids aren't ready. How does that promote unity and teamwork? Also she says that the fundraisers are optional but then ends up charging for it. And she offers discounts for good reviews. Guess we aren't getting a discount. On top of that, they charge for everything...EVERYTHING! If they have a "party", you have to pay to participate. They nickel and dime the crap out of you. If I could give negative stars, I would. Edit to respond to the owner... Thank you for your response, but you have your facts wrong. You did not offer us a refund. We demanded the refund. Big difference!

You can see everything from the outside, and I'll be honest, I felt a little awkward knowing people could watch us. Once inside, I noticed several couples dancing with different instructors and had a moment of nervousness, wondering if there would be enough space for us. Then we met our instructor, Johnny, and all of that disappeared. He is an absolute delight. From the start, he made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and completely at ease. I quickly forgot about the windows and the other dancers. We had plenty of room, and that's entirely thanks to how Johnny guided the lesson. Even though we were doing a shorter intro session, he managed to teach us all the basics to the song we chose. Somehow, it felt incredibly intimate and personal, even in such a large, open space. We had so much fun that we've decided to continue our lessons. Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for an inclusive, welcoming place with truly wonderful instructors.

The instructors are beyond talented, but what makes them so special is their kindness, patience, and the way they believe in you even when you doubt yourself. They meet you where you are, and then somehow bring out the very best in you every single time. Over the course of my journey here, I've not only learned how to dance with more skill and grace, but I've also found a community filled with joy, encouragement, and laughter. Every lesson feels like a celebration, and I always leave lighter and happier than when I came in. Dance With Me isn't just a studio it's a place where confidence, artistry, and friendships grow. I'm forever grateful for the love, passion, and family I've found here

Beat On The Floor Fitness Studio - Great Instructors!

Gold's has…read moresome amazing instructors, but alas I moved less than a mile from 24 hour fitness, so I switched gyms. I didn't realize what a huge role instructors play on whether I workout or not. I couldn't get into any of the 24 hour classes. Enter Beat on the Floor. I started off with a six zumba class pass and quickly moved on to an unlimited pass. I've also managed to get one of my good friends to come with me and one of her friends and even my little niece. I love it . Instructors: Loean's zumba and piloxing knock out classes are outstanding! They are fun and really give you a tough workout. Martha's zumba classes are the best! She has the greatest music (including Bon Jovi!!) and I just can't get enough of her classes! Victor's zumba class is super high energy! My feet could barely handle it. The one class that I took with Aish was fantastic! But I haven't seen her back Dely's piloxing workout is fantastic! It's deceptively challenging, but the group in attendance was very cliquey which made me feel a little awkward. I never felt that way in any of the other classes. Everyone is so friendly and passionate about the classes they teach. It really make me want to go forever. Now the con's: Website/Facebook, class schedule, and price. Information on their website conflicts with information on Facebook (class times, classes offered, pricing). They post the schedule daily on Facebook, which is great, but when I originally started going, I was planning to go based on the schedule that was on the website. The website included classes in the morning, but those are not offered. Classes are only offered in the evening and Saturday. The website also included other classes (zumba tone and hot hula), but those are apparently not offered anymore. Which leads me to pricing. $7 drop in rate for zumba and $10 for piloxing is a little higher than I've seen at other places. $36 for six zumba class card, $50 for ten zumba classes, and $70 for one month of unlimited classes (this may have increased to $125 in the last month-conflicting info on website and Facebook, price would include some weight loss challenge and one master class). I'm okay paying $70 to take all the zumba and piloxing I can stand, but probably not more than that. Why? Because I'm limited in the classes I can take. If I can't go in the evening, I have no other options and if I can't go Saturday, no classes are offered on Sunday. Also there is only one class on Friday and two on Saturday; however, they sometimes offer these "master classes" during regularly scheduled class times which are $10 regardless of whether you have an unlimited pass. Again this reduces the number of classes I can take with my pass. Unfortunately, I won't pay $125 if that's the price increase for a new monthly pass which makes me really sad. It's a fabulous place and I'll still come, but maybe not as often.

Unfortunately, my experience at ATX Pole Studio felt much more manual and disorganized by comparison. When classes were canceled last minute and it was towards the end of a reoccurring bill month, I had to personally reach out to the owner to have credits added back to my account, which became frustrating over time. It would be so much easier if this process was automated like other studios I've attended. The auto-renewal policy also caught me off guard. I didn't see any mention of the 30-day cancellation notice in my receipts or online account, so I was surprised to be charged again after I emailed to cancel before my next billing date. I was told I'd receive credits to use in the future, which I'm assuming I'll have to chase down owner again to get them added as I currently don't see any credits in my account. To make matters even more unsettling, I was automatically charged again the following month, though the owner did issue a credit right after, but again...why is this so difficult in 2025? In the end, I decided to cancel my membership because the overall experience just didn't feel efficient or easy to manage, especially compared to other studios that are more streamlined. I hope the studio improves its systems, and the owner chooses not to ignore emails when it comes to be billing issues.
