A great little dance studio. The owner is sweet and the price is very fair. The teachers are great with my little one.

Dance With Me Austin caught our attention because they offer dance lessons for wheelchair users…read more They're located inside The Domain, and when we arrived, the first thing I noticed was the wall of glass windows. You can see everything from the outside, and I'll be honest, I felt a little awkward knowing people could watch us. Once inside, I noticed several couples dancing with different instructors and had a moment of nervousness, wondering if there would be enough space for us. Then we met our instructor, Johnny, and all of that disappeared. He is an absolute delight. From the start, he made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and completely at ease. I quickly forgot about the windows and the other dancers. We had plenty of room, and that's entirely thanks to how Johnny guided the lesson. Even though we were doing a shorter intro session, he managed to teach us all the basics to the song we chose. Somehow, it felt incredibly intimate and personal, even in such a large, open space. We had so much fun that we've decided to continue our lessons. Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for an inclusive, welcoming place with truly wonderful instructors.

The instructors are beyond talented, but what makes them so special is their kindness, patience, and the way they believe in you even when you doubt yourself. They meet you where you are, and then somehow bring out the very best in you every single time. Over the course of my journey here, I've not only learned how to dance with more skill and grace, but I've also found a community filled with joy, encouragement, and laughter. Every lesson feels like a celebration, and I always leave lighter and happier than when I came in. Dance With Me isn't just a studio it's a place where confidence, artistry, and friendships grow. I'm forever grateful for the love, passion, and family I've found here

If you are looking for a place for your kids to take dance lessons and competition dance, this is…read morenot the place. The owner is more concerned about making money instead of caring about your child's wellbeing. There was an instance at an event where the kids were performing and one of the kids went missing. Instead of owning up to it and learning from it, the owner just made excuses. When you sign up for competition dance, the owner stressed unity and teamwork. But when it came down to competition time, she splits up the group if she doesn't think the kids aren't ready. How does that promote unity and teamwork? Also she says that the fundraisers are optional but then ends up charging for it. And she offers discounts for good reviews. Guess we aren't getting a discount. On top of that, they charge for everything...EVERYTHING! If they have a "party", you have to pay to participate. They nickel and dime the crap out of you. If I could give negative stars, I would. Edit to respond to the owner... Thank you for your response, but you have your facts wrong. You did not offer us a refund. We demanded the refund. Big difference!

I have submitted request for a trial class twice, even called and spoke with someone and still did not hear anything back. 3 friends of mine are taking kids to this place, I thought I may too, but no for sure.

We have been at the dance works with my two girls for two years now and have absolutely loved our…read moreexperience! My daughters just finished dance camp this week and it was the most fun week of their little lives. Mrs. Tracey and Mrs. Michelle go all out in making sure the dancers and campers have an amazing time. But truly, it's the recital that steals my heart every year! It's so rewarding to see your kids hard work pay off in the end. - Highly recommend this dance studio!

I have attended a year end dance recital with ages from toddlers to teenagers and was impressed (along with many other parents/families). Their care and showmanship convinced me when my daughter said: "daddy I want to dance on that stage"... that's all a parent needs to hear to know that your child enjoys what they do and how they help the kids reach that goal. The staff is always informative, the facility is clean, they have basic coffee, cakes, and refreshments for sale while you wait in the lobby, and while you wait in the lobby... you can watch your child's classes on large screen TV's from the cameras they have mounted in the room. Personally, I think this is the best way to help parents monitor the kids and isolate the instruction. You can see that the kids are NOT distracted by observing parents and you can silently smile knowing that they are getting personalized instruction. In my daughters group there are boy dancers as well, and as you know, boys play like boys; the instructors handled all situations well and kept the whole class of 10-13 students on time and focused with instruction. Our daughter is attending the Jazz/Tap/Ballet and the program really does develop her skills in dance, understanding of the dance, and allows her to just be a kid to overcome stage fright or show nerves. I am not sure how long we will attend "The Dance Works", but we will as long as our daughter wants us to bring her there.

We did their summer mini sessions there till Fall and I cannot express enough how happy we are at DE! All of the teachers are so amazing and so welcoming. I do wish the recital procedure was better. We had quite the ordeal. The information could easily be laid out in one email or one flyer, sent with attachments for allotted tickets, rosters of kids in individual classes and times of shows and simple bullet instructions for the day of the performance, but it's pretty jumbled in our opinions--lots of papers, lots of emails, disorganized rosters that can entirely mislead you. It just seems more chaotic than it needs to be for a simple recital for children. But, as I said, over all, my kids had a nice time. We are sorry that we can't stay for more classes.
