My daughter was made to feel bad because she wasn't skinny when she was there, this made her feel bad and didn't want to be in costumes. They would hold a lot of productions which the parents had to finance and on top of that could not be absent (during the productions) since we didn't want to risk our daughter participating. I finally left when I had my last volunteer clique experience and decided this was not the environment for me or my daughter. She was happier playing Soccer which she had to give up due unrelenting Ballet schedule. She went back to Soccer and was much happier.

We love Sarah and all of the couple of subs we have had have been amazing! I love how they keep us informed and communicate everything with us. We always know if there will be a sub, if anything special is coming up and Sally responds to emails almost instantly. At Christmas time they did a tea party for the littles where the bugs put on a little nutcracker performance and did crafts with the kids. I cried y'all, cried. I can't believe it's come to this for me to finally come rave about them but here I sit, stuck and isolated during the covid 19 pandemic where everything is closed. Within days Sally and her team had a plan, we received a link to online classes. I was so impressed they were able to implement such a program and so quickly especially for such a large studio. So yes, I was immediately thankful but then completely blown away by what Miss Sarah did for us. She personalized it for our class using their names and interacting throughout the video. Again, I cried y'all. Not only is this a great studio these women are incredible, incredible y'all. They aren't just teachers and Sally isn't just an owner these women love our kids and their jobs, they seem to go above and beyond in every aspect. So the answer is yes, yes I would recommend GADA! Yes we will be returning (when we ever get to lol) and yes we will stay for as long as we dance.

After class they are always happy, encouraged and excited about coming back. We continue to choose Arts Avenue because we know the teachers genuinely care about our girls and provide a loving and encouraging environment for them to learn and grow in dance. This year we have classes with Ms. Kate and Ms. Alex. Ms. Kate is highly qualified with a B.F.A. degree in dance and choreography with many years of professional experience in those areas. She is always kind and patient, but encourages setting goals and challenging her students to grow in their skills. Besides directing the company team (which has been winning lots of competition awards), Kate has choreographed beautiful ballets for the Arts Avenue team performances the past two years. Ms. Alex is currently pursing a degree at Southwestern University with a minor in dance where she is also the Pom Squad Captain. Ms. Alex loves many genres of dance from ballet to hip hop and makes her classes really fun. She is always kind and fun but is also very organized with lesson plans and goals to encourage her students to grow in skills. This year she even organized a fun Pom Camp for the kids with Southwestern University and they were able to perform for the university basketball game. As long as our girls continue to love their teachers and grow in their skills, we will continue to highly recommend Arts Avenue!

Those details--rehearsal schedules, dates, and location--were never communicated. When we asked for clarification, we were told the studio was still working through the details, which is unacceptable given that families had already paid. To make matters worse, the studio attempted to attribute the confusion to my child rather than taking accountability for their lack of communication. It also became clear that the studio prioritizes its competition team, while other students receive significantly less organization and preparation--despite paying for recital participation and costumes. We expected a much higher level of professionalism and transparency.

So... the 4 stars, the viewing area and entry area are so small, there are SO many kids and parents that all arrive at the same time and it's our chaos. The kids for safety reasons need to wait until their class starts to go into the gym so it's very tight, especially when one class is letting out while the other is waiting to go in. But truly has nothing to do with the quality of the program it's just a pain. There are some people that I see even bring their own chairs just so they have a place to sit. But as I stated there is a new location in the works I'm sure they have a grand plan for this issue and I look forward to updating my review when we move to their big beautiful new gym. My other reasons for 4 stars would just be the inconsistencies in the coaching staff. It seems like there are new coaches in the tumbling class every week and my daughter has to explain she knows how to do something each week so she doesn't regress. She's small so they assume she can't do something, so at water break I have to tell her to tell them to let her do it. There are a few coaches that go well above and beyond though and remember every single girl and they must have 1000 girls there. Natalie, Paige, Tour, Chamie, Bella, so many favorites.... One I feel so bad I don't know her name but she's a huge advocate for my kids to get pushed and moved into new levels. They also offer private lessons with their coaches so if your kid needs extra help with tumbling, flying skills etc the rates are very fair for that as well.

The teachers I have had have all been great, and the classes are available for different levels of students and adaptable for your energy and body ability. Not only is it perfect for someone who has done yoga before but is out of practice as well as someone who has asthma on a bad asthma day, but the 9:30AM time slot is perfect for me to make class right after dropping my son off at school.

We had previous problems with her getting diaper rashes because she was being kept in poopy diapers for a long time, this was becoming more manageable since she is currently potty training but if you have a young child that will likely be an issue, I changed her diaper myself at the school multiple times at pick up because of the state I found her in. Our daughter used to be quiet and shy and now has outstanding vocabulary and loves her dance parties with Sasmita. We get tons of pictures/ videos throughout the day that help us feel at ease and know she is having a good day.
