We moved here a number of months ago and, fortunately for us, we had not yet had issues with the air conditioning unit we inherited. So we turned on our AC a week ago after temps reached higher 90s this winter, after not using our heater all winter, and noticed the unit kicked on, fan kicked on, wasn't cooling down after several hours which was weird. Tried it again the next day and same result. So after some searching on the neighborhood app, we came across Dan Only HVAC. I called him the next day, and no lie he already had a schedule, and said he could come to my house the same afternoon, which was unbelievable because I know when they're already booked, thats hard to do. But he actually made the time to do it. He came out, troubleshooting the issue but needed to come back next for more troubleshooting. He showed up early next morning before I left for work and had it fixed by the time I arrived at work. The issue: low on Freon and in addition he also found a leak of the Freon. He informed me that he replaced the part where the leak was occurring and filled up the Freon to capacity. He was so kind and exceptionally fair in the price that he charged me such a quick response and above and beyond service for what he completed compared to how much it could actually cost, thank you Dan Only. During his visit he discovered that the new condenser that the previous owners of our house had installed was not compatible with the 20+ year old air handler that we had. Dan is the man! We were about to pull the trigger on an hvac system replacement for a rental out in La Quinta. HVAC unit running 20+ hours a day trying to maintain 75 temp. with very little air coming through the vents. Contacted Dan after reading some online blogs and ND. Very glad I did. Very honest and good work. He came out and looked at our system. He recommended an indoor coil clean and a blower wheel clean and guaranteed we would notice a big difference. Dan saved the day! We have a vacation rental in Palm Springs. The guests arrived and the AC wasn't working properly on a 100+ day.
