We could not more highly recommend Brian Reyes for any HVAC needs. After our rooftop gas/electric package unit failed twice over the summer, we shopped around with a few of the big names in the valley until a friend recommended ProFormance to us. We met with Brian who was professional, patient, actually listened to us, answered every question comprehensively and with no sales pressure. We aren't new to HVAC and could tell that he knew what he was talking about and discussed with us all the pros and cons of various unit replacement options. He also serviced our failing system so that it remained operational until the new one could be installed. Brian kept in touch with us about the status of our new unit delivery - even sending a video when it arrived. On installation day, Brian and his son Ethan arrived and got to work. They worked well and safe with the subcontracted crane company to remove and replace our ac unit on and off the roof. They had already measured and pre-fabricated a new AC roof sheetmetal pad cover and new supply and return duct and insulation installation to replace our aged ones. Brian is highly skilled at sheet metal work. He has a fabrication shop at his home and he brought with him a fully functioning fabrication trailer to the unit replacement day in case he need to make any small fittings. He also installed a new copper condensate drain line, ran new thermostat wire and installed a new disconnect and whip to bring all of the major components of our HVAC system to higher quality standards. The punchline is that with all of the extra duct/sheet metal work, newly lined ductwork, running new thermostat wire in the return duct to protect it from the harsh weather and the two stage Trane heat pump unit he highly recommended, Brian's cost was in line with the other quotes we had received. With all the roof top work there - was no follow-up roof patch work required to our foam roof. He also did a very good job sealing all the ducting, duct connections and roof cap. If you want professional, trustworthy, high-quality and extra mile work - we cannot more highly recommend Brian and ProFormance. They have earned our business to also replace our old style air distribution vents, perform our semi annuals maintenance services - and our referral to anyone who asks. I want to start off saying that this "company" is a rip off! They are deceptive and unprofessional! I hired them to fix a leakage in my a/c system. In order to do this they said they have to do a chemical test to find the leak, which was a fee of almost $300. When they supposedly found the leak they said that it was going to cost approximately $1200 with parts and labor. This was in the summer of 2011. So by the end of the summer with the test, coil fix and the Freon, which was another $200, we were looking at a total of $1700. You would expect that everything is good right, wrong! Come the following summer we was encountering the same symptoms of my A/C not cooling. I called them to take a look at it and they told me that it was something small like a switch, (So they said) so there went another $100, (which I believe they just added more Freon to mask the problem). Now were in 2013 and AGAIN going through the same thing all over. This time I watched like hawk as they were assessing the problem and I saw that they were adding Freon and realized that it had to be a leak, which is what I hired them to do in the first place. Of course they didn't want to take responsibility and they do not respond to my phone calls and they will not provide me with the documents that I ask for. So I strongly advise to stay away and always watch as their doing the service no matter how hot it is outside!! read more
