Disappointing....wasted my time and spent days waiting for nothing. Since I use them for my home, I had them come out to assess my commercial building and provide a quote. Technician came to assess the place and said the office would contact me with the quote. Never heard from them at all after his visit. I guess if business is good, they don't need my business. We've been using A&G for nearly ten years. I can't say enough positive about them. If there was a 6 star rating, they'd have it. One of our A/C unites went down a couple of days ago. I called them at 9:30 this morning and by 10:30 a serviceman was at more door. I had the unit fixed and running in less than 10 minutes. I needed the capacitor replaced. This is not the first time I've called for assistance and each time they were incredibly responsive and professional. If you are looking for a reputable A/C service provider look no further. What a great technician AJ was. He got straight to the problem and fixed it. The main issue was our thermostat was broken due to bad quality of parts. Instead of trying to sell us the exact same thermostat from Bryant AC manufacturing at $1300, he found a Honeywell product that does the job better and isn't as fragile. We would not recommend A&G Air conditioning Owner will not take responsibility for a mistake his employee made. We made numerous calls to speak to him to file a complaint. We left several message; It took 10 days for the return call. Owner was on the defense and did not rake responsibility. lady I spoke with that sets appointments has an attitude and is very rude and truly Unprofessional they sent a young rookie guy out to fix the ac at our unit and he was on a private phone call the whole time only added coolant and replaced filter but didn't figure or look for what was wrong with the unit I've never been talked rude to or hung up on from any other kind of establishment. read more

I was having trouble with my air conditioning unit, when it started blowing out hot air. Went on Yelp to find a reliable company. I found A & G Air Conditioning located right here in Indio. I called them right after 8 am. The lady on the phone was very helpful. She told me that a technician would be at my cond between noon and 2pm. They showed up right 1pm. After above twenty minutes working on my unit. They were finished. The technician explained to me that it was ciapacitor that was causing the problem. Very fast service, they replaced the ciapactitor at a very reasonable price. When I have any problems with my air conditioning unit, in the future, I know who to call. Would recommend. read more

Brandon the tech did a great job with explaining what was wrong with our AC and repaired it within minutes. Beware, Beware, Beware. They installed a new $24k HVAC system through sears, never had an inspector come out to check the system, even fighting me to get a permit for the system. When we did have the Inspector come out, he said it was the 2nd worst installation he has ever seen. He made a mess, leaving staples and old duct work after suppose ably finishing the job. not caring where holes go and putting 1 vent under a ceiling fan. each Company following him to fix the system from sears said the system needs to be ripped out and reinstalled, they continued to say the duct work were not sized appropriately and will cause the system to fail in the future. not 1 year later and the system is failing. come to find out he is not even certified to install this system. ****Do Not**** use this contractor if you have have another company inspect and you'll surely be surprised. read more

Please do not hire these people for your AC needs, he came and hook up the AC which was working ok and then they decided to install a new temperature gauge inside the house and it said it was on AC but was blowing heat out of the air vents, they obviously have NO IDEA what there doing. Not only did they install it wrong they also put a whole in my master closet!!!! The guy left without checking to make sure everything was working properly and when I called him he said he will send someone out to fix it, turns out the guy they sent before had no idea what he was doing so he just left and didn't call his boss or anyone for assistance to help me. My brother is a contractor and he would never leave a job site without making sure everything is in working order. When you have integrity it's show and you value people business. You get what you pay for!!! I'm a renter and my landlord is obviously a tight ass and doesn't like to pay for anything, so he got what he paid for in the long run it costed him more money!!!!! read more

We were very happy with the technician, Mario, who came to help us, but you have to get get through the office to get someone like Mario, and that was a completely different experience. Whoever they have answering phones was unfriendly, even rude, and not just on one call. She acted as if she's doing us a major favor just by dealing with our questions. It was more than surprising, because once we did get through her to deal with Mario we were more than satisfied with his patience and professionalism. We were actually ready to accept his suggestions about getting a new AC system--using A & G--except that when we called to find out our options the receptionist/secretary didn't seem to want to be bothered to have Albert--or anyone from sales--come out and answer questions about what those options were, and had the same attitude. My wife and I aren't in the best of health, and for us life's too short for us to have to deal with people like that, so we'll use someone else. read more

I called around everywhere and was being quoted a very high price. My friend recommended a&g and within 5 hours he was here after hours and charged me half what I was being quoted and only took him about 30 mnts. Really fast, great work. And best part is albert is very nice and humble. read more

Our A/C was broken so we called this company. The tech came in and told us that our A/C was completely broken but he'd get us a new unit for 2000. He shows us reading off this equipment but I was still skeptical. I called another company to come in and they found out it was just the filter and their equipment read everything was fine. The new technician said that he had never heard of the AC unit they were trying to sell us and that our unit only needed a filter change. The tech from A&G called me twice asking me if I still wanted to buy the unit, when I said we couldnt afford it the first time , he called back saying he could finance me a unit. After I found out that he was using rigged faulty equipment I called his office to give me a refund. They demanded to see our invoice from the other company, I said no problem I will show the technician when he gets here. Long story short they refused to let me show them in person and hung up on me. They are selling unknown branded AC units, telling people they NEED them by using rigged equipment to make it seem so. The BBB has been reported for this scam.
