They gave an excuse and I told them I had spoken to the owner about this and was assured it would be ok. After some push back, they agreed to fix it. The "fixed" result is honestly terrible. It was an $160 dress and I feel crushed. I was so excited to wear it on a big trip. Since I was forced to pay cash (apparently all tailoring work there is in cash), I can't even go to my credit card to try to recover the cost of the terrible job.

Have a spot on your favorite dress that needs cleaning? They can get it out. Have a dress that needs fitting? They get it right every time. So while I look like the requisite crazy lady with my cart of dirty clothes every Saturday morning, I have clean clothes for the week. Prices are about standard fluff and fold, and we've had no problems with my husband's work shirts so far, so we're sticking with them. (Shirts from our old cleaners in the city kept coming back with weird rust stains form the iron) Everything is ready, packed and overly dried in that fluff and fold way. So while they won't treat your clothes with kid gloves, it's great for towels, sheets, and all that other simple, cotton stuff.

Warning!!!!Do not use their service!!! I am so disappointed. I have been using their service for…read morethe past year. They were doing an ok job: they used safety pin and stapler, which I hate, but ok they at least stapled on the manufacture label or avoid soft fabric. !!!! THIS TIME, they TOTALLY RUINED every piece of my clothes!!!! As in the photo, even though my dress has hanger strap, they still directly put a safety pin on the softest fabric and made a big hole on my dress; As the the third photo shown, they directly safety pined on my sweater even though it has manufacture label that they can stapled on (nice expensive sweater bought in Singapore). The last three photos are my super cute high end pants bought in Tokyo, now it's ruined. Again it has manufacture label , however they still chose to directly violently stapled on the soft clothes fabric. At this point, I don't expect to argue with them about how they ruined my clothes or any refund. All these clothes are well selected from each abroad trip or special gift I got. They cannot be replaced!!!! I read other review and saw their owner or manager was changed recently. Maybe that's why this issue never happened the past year, but happening now. Also they charged me 92 dollars for 7 pieces of spring clothes and 1 sweater (18 dollars for a summer dress). I do think it's pretty expensive even in New York and this high end price shouldn't ruin my clothes! I am posting on both Google and Yelp. Just want to warn people who have delicate nice clothes and care about their clothes, not to try the service. I also want to let the manager know that: whether you are still the person I trusted your service before, I can tell the service is totally different. It seems you don't care about the quality anymore. Directly stapled on my clothes? No way!

I can't believe this place... I took a dress to have the hemline altered and it turns out they…read moredidn't even alter it at all. I picked it up my dress when they said it would be ready and it was in packaging. I tried on my dress for my event and thought it seemed long. When I took it back to be looked at, the alterationist was looking at the hemline in a confused way as though he'd never even worked on my dress, I noticed he wasn't pinning it to correct it. The guy at the front desk then said "we'll give you your money back" - admitting they never even did the job I had paid $70 for. I am so furious that this place would #1: act as though they had altered it and 2: take on a job they couldn't do. It was such a waste of my time going there twice, and now needing to get it done correctly elsewhere. Beware of this place for your alterations.
