Absolute ripoff. 11 bucks per shirt for press only not clean. 26 per suit press only.

Nasty people. Lost his temper with me. Late return. Overall terrible service still stands out in my mind!

Unfortunately, I had a poor experience here after choosing Ann Cleaners based on the reviews I read on Yelp. My poor experience was with the wash and fold service. They lost a pillow case. When I let them know, they did not apologize for losing it, did not take responsibility for losing it and did not offer a credit. When I asked for a credit, they made it seem like I had to provide proof that it was lost. I'm not returning to this establishment. read more

I was looking to have one item dry cleaned and I wanted to be able to drop it off and pick up near a subway station so I could use my MTA card. This is a case of "less is more" ... how can you forget the name of a dry cleaning outfit named Ann? That's because it's on Ann Street, which is next to John Street, and on which there are no johns because this is right near the Financial District. I went in since previous washes had not gotten the food grease stains on a pair of brushed denim jeans to the point I would have hoped. I showed the employee the garment. The kind gentleman working there made sure he marked (however dry cleaners mark items) the tough spots I brought to his attention. Before I started, I asked for the price and, for the area, it seemed like a good, fair price. I only asked that it be ready for me in two days because I'd be leaving. I called the following afternoon prior to closing and it was already back in the store and available for pick-up. I went in the morning of the second day. A different person helped me and he was equally helpful and good-natured. They did the job right. While this doesn't affect the rating at all, Lower Manhattan is a very interesting place. If, upon leaving Ann Cleaners, you turn left, you're basically looking at One World Trade Center and, if you turn right, you can either head up to Chinatown or quickly enough be on the pedestrian promenade on the Brooklyn Bridge. Don't settle for just any pedestrian dry cleaning outfit. Instead, go to Ann Cleaners in or near the Financial District. Your closest subway station is Fulton Street. read more

Terrible. Broke my dress even though they were just supposed to sew a hole. Never admitted their fault, even though clearly seen the condition before/after on cameras. Dress is $950, didn't even issue refund, instead tried to gaslight. What a terrible experience read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Came to get my clothes washed and folded. One of the sweaters still came with the same stain it had prior. I got the clothes and smelled it and couldn't even tell it was washed. I paid $30 to wash and fold 2 hoodies , 5 shirts , and 3 shorts ( 7.2 ) is what it weighed when I told him I thought it was $2.00 per pound , and he looked at me like "i don't know what you want me to do". I definitely won't be coming back for any type of wash and fold service. Get better employees! read more

Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend if you are in need of prompt cleaning.

Value Service I'm not sure what else to rate but the people are friendly, super quick, and it saves me from having to do my own laundry. Laundry is emotionally draining to me - stressing before I do it, starting the laundry machine, folding it(or just tossing all the dry clothes into a "clean laundry basket". I have 28 sets of workout clothes and part of it was from dreading laundry, the other part is from laziness(are those the same factors? Haha). I wish I had started going to Ann Cleaner sooner! read more

legit didn't even wash, still has stains from soda which isn't even hard to wash off ..

Prompt, efficient service. The gentleman found a hole that I didn't realize was there. He fixed it, I offered to pay and he told me it was free of charge. It is very kind of him. read more

The service was amazing, and the people were so nice!! I hemmed my pants, and they came out great

Great service! Always on time and reliable. They consistently take care of my clothes :)

The most incompetent dry cleaners ever. The first time that I arranged a pickup, they never confirmed a time so they came and my clothes weren't at the concierge. I had to tell them to come back to pick up, and they still never gave me an exact date and time so I just gave up and left the clothes with the concierge for whenever. Then, after a whole month after they had picked up the clothes, I never heard back from them so I contacted them regarding my clothes. They said that they were just holding on to them because they didn't have a payment method on file for me and admitted that they would never reach out if I hadn't. That is not an excuse. Just reach out if you need payment! Don't put the work on the customer to do that. I finally got my clothes back after a whole month. Overall, the cleaning was fine, but they severely shrank one of my expensive sweaters. read more

I scheduled a free pickup that never arrived and when I walked to the cleaners itself they were closed, since they forgot to change the schedule on the website (for now, they close at 5pm). So far, their customer service is not very impressive. read more

Ann Cleaners - Dry Cleaning Near Me - New York, New York

Excellent place - really good customer service and always deliver great value - thank you!

This was fast and right next to work. Very professional and helpful as well. Open early and accessible to people with disabilities. Tailor / seamstress on sight. They also gave me a discount for posting on yelp. read more

My husband and I started coming to this place and I highly recommend it. The manager, Ted is very welcoming and pleasant to work with. We got my husband's suit tailored here and he did a terrific job on tailoring his pants. Especially when other places told us they couldn't make it slimmer. They also have a free pickup/drop off which we started taking advantage of. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

After my initial review, someone from the cleaners reached out to me to offer to reclean the dress shirt. Definitely appreciate the customer service, however, I was only in town for work for a week. Hence the relative quick service was the main appeal. read more

Fast, professional, friendly service. I would happily recommend Ann Cleaners for your dry cleaning needs.

Good service and great prices. I brought a lite jacket to be cleaned on a Friday and it was ready and available by Monday. And it was only $12 which is a reasonable price. I only gave 4 stars because their CC machine was not working. read more

Been dropping off my laundry to this place for almost a year now. I have absolutely ZERO complaints about this place whatsoever. Jay (who used to run this joint) always welcomed me with a very pleasant attitude. Even though interactions are very short, I strongly believe that in that one minute of doing business with them, they really care for their customers. I would highly recommend this place if you live around the area! read more

I've tried other cleaners near by this area, but none of them are as great as Ann cleaners. I've even recommended my roommate (she converted to Ann's), and she has also given rave reviews. The people who work and own this place are so kind and are honest about what they can do. On top of that, they have great prices. Highly recommend read more

The proprietor (unfortunately, I don't know his name) is just about as professional as they come. I always leave feeling like I've just gotten a taste of the high-quality customer service of a bygone era. Also, the dry cleaning itself is top notch. They've been able to remove stains from a couple of my white shirts that have been there for years. Would 100% recommend. read more

17 for a single dress that is ridiculous. Why go here when it's the priciest place in fidi

They have a seamstress named Donna who is a wizard on the sewing machine ! She turned my Size 2 Ball Gown into a Size 8 - 10. I was really pleased and I will certainly be back ! Magic fingers !!! read more

I live nearby so coming here is super convenient. I actually don't even need to go to the store bc they offer free pick up and drop off. Dry cleaning prices are as expected and no issues with my garments. Highly recommend if you live in the area read more

BEST DRY CLEANERS! I have brought my clients dry cleaning to this location and now come all the way from Bushwick to bring my own items. I repurpose designer cosmetic bags and couldn't get this cleaned on my own due to its difficult material. Came out sparkly clean from Ann's. Excellent service always HIGHLY recommend. read more

Really great cleaners, fast with wash and fold and affordable. I once got back an expensive workout jacket with the zipper missing and let them know. They fixed it with a brand new zipper for free (which was the right thing to do but was thankful there was no hassle when I called and asked). Anytime there was a small issue they always offered a discount. I was never too bothered by the issues because they were negligible and they were always quick to fix them (e.g., accidental charge, dress missing then found). Used them the whole time I was in FiDi and will miss them now that I've moved! read more

The BEST customer service! When I was attending a wedding in NY from out of state, and needed my dress steamed asap, Ted was to the rescue and SO kind. He helped to get the job done fast and beautifully. I highly recommend this cleaner, and will absolutely be returning whenever I am in need in NY. They're awesome! read more

Amazing service, Alvaro was really nice to me after a really rough week. Highly recommend this place. They'll take care of you.

I work nearby this Dry Cleaner and find them very convenient. The cleaning is top quality, as is the service they offer. They have free delivery, and pick up, and are always friendly and courteous. I've also used their tailoring service and found it excellent, and they will go out of their way to make sure you get what you need when you want it. I will continue to use their services because they do top quality work. Try them. I think you'll like the results. read more
